Given that both of their parents are average height, it's a mystery why they're so tall. Long white locks drape over their shoulders, and their faces are painted with permanent warrior markings. These marks represent status to many of Enca's people, and to Uyabe, it represents the pride they have for their people. It is common to see them wearing little or nothing at all times. This is because they cover themselves with furs at extremely cold temperatures and shorts or even underwear at very hot temperatures. Extra: - Personality Kind, empathetic, and open to many ideas, Uyabe strives to be truthful, courageous, and love-driven. Indeed, a breath of fresh air. It is said (by their friends and acquaintances alike) that Uyabe is a complete mystery— comfortably charming, gentle in how they communicate, and even suspiciously easy-going. However, it is easy to realize that the silver-maned adventurer is relatively simple in essence, with simple motives, and rather detailed thoughts when one has the pleasure of interacting with them. In most cases, Uyabe expresses themselves plainly or does not speak at all, choosing instead to speak when spoken to or when a situation demands their insight. In their quest to develop a world that is more equitable and just, Uyabe is perhaps far ahead of their time. Most Encans are raised to be determined and relentless, and in Uyabe, these traits are radiant. As they strive toward their own goals, they can become aggressive and excessively focused. There is virtually nothing that can deter them from following the path on which success awaits, so in that regard, the Encan is stubborn— almost to a fault. As the son of an Encan man who traveled the world for work and a mother from Savannah, Uyabe grew up pretty quickly. Almost all of their income came from helping the village and his mother. While their father frequently came and departed, Uyabe had to hone their mind and body to be of value. Their mother couldn't do it alone. To grow into the person they are today, they relied on traditional religion and life practices, and they lived a very simple life. The village is a close-knit community that cares for each other, looks out for one another, and respects each other. While they're one of the smallest countries on earth, their values have always been progressive. Demons invaded Encan lands and the Encans pushed back with not much help from outsiders and Uyabe stepped up and became a young leader of those forces. Because of the color of their hair and the ability to proficiently use a bow, Silver Sparrow got its name. Alas, Uyabe has always wanted more. Uyabe grew up to be widely respected in their village. However, while their peers were content with their own private world, the Silver Sparrow knew that they wanted to experience more than just the trials and tribulations of their homeland. Their thirst for adventure and knowledge is in their blood and as such, it could not be quenched unless they pursued their own path. They found themselves unable to find solace in the idea that they'd be in Enca forever. So, they decided to venture out.
