Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were now taking on jobs within Oak City. They had been doing any jobs they could throughout their travels for the Lost Page. This place had people who needed his help, and he would take care of them. The jobs this time were to make sure that beacons were set properly and that the guards making them were actually doing their job. The Nephilim was outside of the city, and he would start making his way to the first place, which was a hill.

When he got there, he would see that the guard was almost done with the beacon. That was good because it meant he was doing his job. He would approach the man with a smile on his face as he got close enough to him.

“You’re doing a good job. I’m just making sure all the beacons are properly finished.” He said to the man as he would see the next beacon point.

Yuurei

Yuurei would start running to the next place. He would go through the woods, and he would easily arrive at the place. When he looked around, he would see that the guard was sleeping. He would rub the back of his head as he figured he would wake him up. When he got to him, he would stop as he would look at the beacon and he would see that it was already finished. He would sigh as he figured he wouldn’t bother him. The man had done his job, so he didn’t need to pester him about anything.

The berserker would examine the beacon to make sure it was well done, and it would be just that. He would look around as he knew that there was one more beacon to go to. When he saw where he needed to go, he would start running toward that area. It was in the north of his last location.

Yuurei and Renji would arrive at the last beacon and immediately, he would see someone lying on the floor. They looked dead from where he was standing, which brought Yuurei to wonder what had happened. The beacon was almost done, which bothered him. What killed him? He decided that he didn’t like this, and he would finish the beacon in the man’s place. When he was done with that, Yuurei would make his way back to the city. He would go through the beacon area as it was the fastest way back. He would speak to the guard about the situation with the third beacon and the guard would hear this. He would hand over the jewels that Yuurei earned. The Nephilim would take the jewels as he would see the guard walking in the direction where Lord Servas was located. The duo would leave the area as well as they had more jobs to do within the West.
