Appearance:
An entity that is best described as a Demihuman with avian features, The Meteion twins are in fact familiars of Gaia, with one of them having been send to observe Earthland and its denizen, and the other the darkness beyond. The two Meteions are easily distinguished from each other by their colors and manner of speech.

Description:
Created by Gaia to serve as observers to the state of Earthland and the various other dimensions, the Meteions have long been known to travel to various dimensions to serve as information gatherers. They are empathic beings whose main purpose is to record and observe the various civilizations they encounter.

Usually the Meteions tend to take a passive role, considering it dangerous for them to influence the civilizations they encounter. However, after having traversed countless dimensions in their duty, the Black Meteion whose empathic nature made her become nihilistic started to believe that in the end the only option to end the suffering of people was to end life altogether, a mindset that was fortunately changed when Esperia offered for her to seek the answer together among the denizen of Earthland.

Personality:
The Blue Meteion is known to be an innocent and cheerful presence, naive and gentle, she is a being that is driven entirely by her desire to get to know people and befriend them. Although instinctively designed to observe and learn from mankind, Meteion has grown to be quite fond of interacting with society.

The Black Meteion however is sassy, crude, and tends to be far more stoic than her sister in her mannerisms. Despite her nihilistic behavior having steadily lessened after returning to Earthland, she is not exactly fond of the conflicts she has witnessed there, finding herself confused at how people can find hope and happiness in such a harsh reality.

Skills:
  • Gaia's Observers: The two Meteions have served as observers for countless generations and do not involve themselves in conflict. They might try to reason or resolve a conflict verbally but they will never fight themselves. As a result should someone try to attack the Meteions they will dissolve in a flock of birds and leave the topic.


Companion Perks:
  • Flight: The Meteions can passively fly up to 15 meters while in their human form.
  • Avian Form: The Meteions can take on a bird form which is either blue or black, they can still communicate verbally while in this form.
  • Empathic Friend: The Meteions possess the ability to sense emotions and communicate with people through telepathy.

Partner Perks:
  • Song of Hope: Meteion's songs tend to encourage people and lift their motivation to overcome another day. Not to mention they are cute idol girls! The user gains a 20% increase in jewels from quests and social interactions
  • White Winds over Albion: Meteion's constant observations make it much easier for the user to navigate through situations with her help. The user gains a 20% increase in their WC reduction for quests.
  • Test test, mic on?: The Meteions can use their telepathy to serve as a communication device for the user when interacting with others.

    Effect: Meteion raises a hand to the back of the person's head and gently rests her forehead against theirs, after which the Meteions are able to project any memory of a topic they experienced into the receiver's mind. This allows the Meteions to only project a memory they been present in and the receiver is treated as if they are watching a vision rather than a memory.
