Yuurei would be in the city of Crocus right now. He was moving through the area as he was using the rune that was in his position to find where the other rune was located. He was surprised that his guess to go here would work fine. His rune was glowing, and it was moving in a certain direction. He would move through the streets. It was a beautiful day outside and the people around the area were scattered around. The berserker was daunted in all his gear right now as Renji was on his shoulder. His cape was hovering on his back as it was aware of its surroundings and making sure Yuurei was safe.

It wouldn’t take long, but he would see someone not too far from him. He would close in on them and once he got close, he would try to steal their rune. It was in the man’s pocket, and how would he know that? Well, his rune had basically pointed in that direction. He was hoping things would go well as he was trying to push forward and collect the other runes as well.

The Mage Hunter reached for his gut as his stomach growled. Almost at the same time would he feel the rune he recently obtained begin to pulse and call out to something. Ariael wasn’t a fool and this was his second time being in possession of one of the blood runes. Whenever it was near one of its siblings it would alert the holder. Having been walking in the streets of Crocus, the day was bold and the streets were rowdy, but not to the point where you couldn’t pinpoint someone.

Stopping in his tracks, Ariael would simply make a waving motion downward with his hand as if he was calling out to someone. The gauntlet he wore seemed to draw in all the mana around the area before creating a rift in space-time instantly. Simultaneously as he opened the portal would he see a figure dawning a cape coming straight towards him. At most the figure was seventy meters away down the street, but even Ariael knew they were after him simply from the attraction the blood rune felt.

As the figure continued to close its distance, Ariael would step through the portal well before they got within any reach of him. The gauntlet had bowed to his will once again and would allow him to make his travels across Fiore instantly to a location in the deep southern parts of the country.

Yuurei would see that the person he was following had swung their hand down. It would seem like they were trying to do something with their arm. It made Yuurei alert, and he could only wonder if someone was with him. He thought to himself that the man was called back up and that he may have been spotted. So, the Nephilim started running toward the man when he saw this as he would close the gap between them by twenty-five meters while they were swinging their arm down. While running, his wings would sprout from his back, his eyes turning golden as the transformation didn’t need any motion to be cast or anything of the sort.

The moment they took a step forward, Yuurei would be right behind him, closing the remaining forty-five-meter gap between the two of them in less than a second as he moved at full speed now. The Nephilim decided that it was best to land a quick punch on him as the man seemed aware that he was being followed. Yuurei would stretch his right arm, attempting to land a jab at the man aiming for his back as his armed moved at twenty meters per second and he was one meter away from the man.

Yuurei

Yuurei was quick on his feet, and his right arm was fast as well. He had launched his attack previously, hoping to be able to hit the man on his back. He didn’t go all out, but he felt like this was good enough to take this guy out in one hit. The Rune that he had was going to be his and he had to do this. He wouldn’t have attacked this man if that wasn’t the case. Still, it was either he had gone for him, or eventually this man would have gone for him. Still, with his jab connecting on the man’s back he would fall to the ground as Yuurei had done enough to knock him out.

There he would kneel to the side of the man, and he would take his Rune from him. Now Yuurei would have two of the runes and he had to collect three more. Where was he going to next was the question, he thought to himself.
