Levels


A prisoner's assigned level is usually determined by the bounty value on his or her head. Exceptions can be made, however, when the Council acknowledges their strength is obviously superior to their bounties. There are five levels and a hidden sixth level. Should a prisoner have a threat level of a Hazard, they will be sent to the second level, for example. The levels are merely introduced for flavor and allows prisoners that are imprisoned on the same level to communicate with each other.

Escape


In the Hellsea Bastille, each prisoner has their primary topic in which they sit out their sentence. The prisoner may roll a dice once every 24 hours in their prison topic to calculate their chances of escape. Regardless of the outcome of the roll, the prisoner is not required to follow through with the escape. If the user ever wishes to follow through, however, they must create a new topic in the Hellsea Bastille tagged with (Escape) in the title.

  • 1-50: You have no chance to escape. There are too many patrolling guards and everyone is on high alert.

  • 51-75: Your chances of escape are low. You got your mana cuffs on so you can't use your magic. You also don't have access to your equipment since you can't find it anywhere. You may try to sneak out of prison but it will be incredibly difficult. Your magic and equipment become available to you after your escape. You may do a 3000 word topic (split in at least 10 posts) to post your escape. If you complete the required words and nobody has replied to your topic within 48 hours, you are free.

  • 76-94: Your chances of escape are high. Somehow, you manage to undo your mana cuffs. You can use your magic to escape from the Hellsea Bastille. You also manage to find your weapon during your escape. The remaining pieces of your equipment are available to you after you have escaped. Should you draw too much attention to yourself, you can still be captured and be placed at a lower level. You may do a 2000 word topic (split in at least 8 posts) to post your escape. If you complete the required words and nobody has replied to your topic within 48 hours, you are free.

  • 95-100: Your chances of escape are incredibly high. Somehow, you manage to undo your mana cuffs. You can use your magic to escape from the Hellsea Bastille. Furthermore, you also manage to find your equipment immediately. This allows you to use your items as well during the escape attempt. Should you draw too much attention to yourself, you can still be captured and be placed at a lower level. You may do a 1000 word topic (split in at least 6 posts) to post your escape. If you complete the required words and nobody has replied to your topic within 48 hours, you are free.

Breakout


Prisoners may attempt to escape together in a single topic. Their chances of escape are based on their own personal dice rolls. If prisoner #1 rolled a low chance of escape, they cannot use their magic and equipment during the escape. If prisoner #2 rolled a high chance of escape, they can use their magic and equipment during the escape. The number of words is also personal to the escapee based on their rolls despite the escape being done in a single topic.

Other


You may post in this topic if you wish to turn yourself in, bribe your way out of the prison by paying a guard, or pay a sacrifice to escape.
