After recovering from the shock of being in a different place and time from what ever that was it seemed him returning had freed that spirt from its torment and it was able to pass on so he guessed that was a good thing at least but he was wondering how this ring was reacting to ghosts but then he remembered it spoke to him when he had found it so maybe this ring allowed him to speak to ghosts and see their pains or maybe it was just a freak accident that happened and he just happened to be able to help her to pass on. Though it was strange that the girl had been him and she him at one point there it was a weird feeling to see and feel things like that. He knew something else he had to go and do and he wondered if it would trigger a chain event or not.

He walks in and he heads into the way in the basement he had came from and he hears screams and noises but he doesn't know if they are real or just echoes of the past finally making it back to where the voices from before where people were tortured in areas like this sometimes they can be forever echoing back and forth forever he still believed this. He doesn't know what he is truly in for down here as he rounds a corner he sees the same cultists and they are capturing more spirits in circles and sending them off, he wonders if they work for that woman Vex or if these ones belong to a different cult it seems the souls are suffering from what ever they are doing to them, but he is unsure how he could really help them. He hoped it worked and he is able to help the souls they are trying to capture.

He runs at them making a scream that mimicked the sounds of the ghouls that were wandering around the cultists reacting turn and get clothes lined by the dimensional dragon slayer closing the gap between them and himself as he hits them, he couldn't just keep standing idly by as these people's spirits were being tormented and sent off to who knows where and giving who knows what power to grow and get stronger and maybe take on other gods or something else. He wondered if they might be actually freeing them by forcing them to cross over or if it was hurting them from maybe rebirthing later or maybe this happening was breeding more children of what ever god these were sent to. He has very limited knowledge of what this all entails to be honest he hopes once he joins the cultist hunting guild that he can find these things out and maybe he will find a way to speak to a higher power to get some kind of protection from evil, or maybe find a cure.

He knows that is still a time away before that probably happens and he runs after more of the cultists in the underground that are in the deeper chambers of it and he gets into a fight with a ghoul but is able to send it off to the next life like it needed to be but it seemed the cultist he was chasing got away from him for the moment and he tries to track them. He keeps his senses on high so if he feels anything and he senses a dimensional disturbance and he looks around and he sees a ghost that is using a power like his to shift between dimensions and he chases after it while he has Revy to keep looking for the cultists and she nods and runs off as he kept his eyes on the spirit and it looks at him then he sees it looked like him.

This must just be a him that got stuck between dimensions and he helps the other him out of the issue they had found themselves in and then he goes to look for where Revy had gotten off to so he can get back to stopping the cultists from causing issues with the spirits down here under the church and it was a bit tough to really think about it. Who wants to torment ghosts and not just help them to pass on but he knew that asking those kind of questions to himself would get him no where and he needed to get his head straight and get to fighting the enemies that he can already see and he was gonna be able to do it right. He didn't have any illusions about he maybe being in the wrong because he doesn't understand all of what cultists do for all he knew he was stopping them from doing good.

The lines between good and evil have just been nothing but blurring for him lately and he hears a nagging voice in the back of his head telling him to just kill the cultists instead of knocking them out, send a message the voice echoes in his head Kaito drops to his knees for a second and holds his head and he starts seeing visions of some other place that is destroyed and rumble surrounds him and he can't be anything to stop the deaths he saw happening in front of himself. He wasn't in a body but a statue that watched as these things happened almost like what he saw was from the eyes of the evil that had caused this pain and suffering to happen. He couldn't speak just feel the happiness from someone else filling his body and cheering as they watched the mages killing each other.

The ring pulses again and he snaps out of it he nearly throws up but he can't barely see now as his eyes had adjusted to the light from the vision and he was in the pitch black he wondered if he was really freed from the vision or if he was still inside of it in some part till he sees a small head light coming his way and he knew who it was and she was here with news on the ones that had gotten away as they had grouped up in a big chamber just a little farther in and the voice keeps speaking in his head and he wonders if they can actually do it or if it is a long shot his mental place was starting to shake as he tries his hardest to suppress this blood lust he was starting to feel like if he had be turned in to a beast that was about to go on the hunt to eat and take care of himself.

He can't help but feel maybe it was a demon that had its grip on him and if maybe it had something to do with his father or his mother but he has no idea if they did anything to him and the only one that could possibly know anything will not answer his letters, he wonders if maybe when he hits X rank she might see him as worth her time to get back to. He stands again and he keeps walking with Revy and they go in on the cultists and he fights them and he dodges spells some of them might have even been curses and he was not sure what he could do if, he gets hit by a curse does his touch based curse nullify another curse if he is touched or does he just get double cursed to suffer with. He doesn't want to risk it in case it is the latter for him cause he is already suffering enough as it is.

He starts clashing weapons with some of the cultists and magic is flying around and Revy is doing her best to play rouge and sneak attack them as she can with her tiny body and limited strength Kaito does his best but at this point it is a numbers game and he was not on the winning side of this numbers game then he sees a flashes go past him and protect him and he is so happy to see back up showing up in the nick of time and he was happy to see the bunny mask and raven masked allies. He gets himself together and he hurries in with them to clash swords and fighting for the souls that wander around here he wasn't sure if they were gonna truly look okay after this they had no ideas but he wanted to enjoy protecting those that had already long suffered.

After they chased the others out of the under parts of the church he and the others started cleaning up the circle traps and started giving the souls final rites to send them on their way to the after life he had wondered if this was even the right way to be handling this but at this point it was the only way he knew that he could handle this thing and he knew that he needed to make sure it was done right so that he could be paid and hopefully never be called back to this dirty nasty place again but he knows that you wish in one hand and shit in the other which one is gonna get loaded first. He was at this point faking it till he makes it but he wonders if this new guild he might be joining will be worth the headache of fighting people like this on the daily will really fit him.
