Kaito

Kaito is frustrated cause none of the evidence is adding up to the gangs being the ones starting these killings, Kai's distrust of Weirdlock Jones has just grown higher and higher as these requests have gone on the weather seems to mimic his mood as the rain begins to fall and flashes of lightning let loose as thunder unleashes a mighty roar in the distance. Kai looks through his mask toward the way it was, he wondered if his master had heard about him gaining such a strong magic and was coming to teach him to handle it better and to respect that now he isn't just using peon magic anymore buy the powers of an ancient dragon that he should respect and fear, speaking on fear he catches sight of Yomu and his men looking like they are out on patrol. They are probably still looking for him after the poisoning of their leader happened, him fighting and fleeing. He is probably pretty high on their find and kill list but he can't back down or let himself to be killed now.

He keeps himself hidden in the shadows and he opens portals he runs to avoid their eyes like a phantom phasing through walls, Kai pretty much knew this city like the back of his hand so it is a playground for him to play in if he so chose, he was the darkness and shadows a simple misstep and they might see him, it was thrilling like a child playing hide and seek and they know they could be seen or found at anytime. Revy just found this totally unneeded as he could just portal into Weirdlocks office or right out side of it but he is picking to play games like he is a child. She feels Kai slip off a roof top and she holds on for dear life as Kai starts panic portaling and he ends up just right outside of the office of the man of the hour himself Weirdlock Jones.

Kaito

Kai walks in to the office and he sees Weirdlock Jones just there staring at the wall and not moving or saying anything as if he is trying to connect the dots of the things on the wall in front of him and kai slowly walks up toward the man while looking at the evidence on the wall. Kai talks like he isn't on to Weirdlock Jones even a bit. "None of this all makes any sense Weirdlock, it just seems to lead in circles and ending in dead ends." He hears the man in front of him chuckle a little to himself, he is unsure if he is laughing at him or the point he was making about it not making sense. Kai stays careful of Weirdlock who has now began to nod his head as Kai spoke and Kai wonders what is about to happen and if he is even ready to fight him if it comes to it.

Kai sees something on the wall that is wrong stating that Yomu was dead but he knows that isn't right as he has seen him on the way here and he looks to Weirdlock Jones to let him know and he keeps a calm voice while speaking even though he sees where this is about to go. "I just saw Yomu so your wall is either wrong or you were fed some back intel." He sees the man turn toward him and he sees the mark on his peck, it all makes sense to why Kai saw it Weirdlock had been setting him up this whole time, he was probably suppose die on the last request. That damned mark and the person with it was so close to him, Kai feels like he has let himself down by not checking Weirdlock Jones' body for the mark before now.

"So it was you all along huh...Weirdlock Jones!" Kai points his finger at the man in front of him that starts laughing at Kai like he had been ready for this to happen for Kai to finally realize he was the real killer the monster in the dark and shadows that they were hunting for with restless eyes and weary bodies was right there pulling the strings and working Kai like a puppet, Kai is angry he was so stupid and gullible to have been strung along, he should have acted sooner then other lives could have been saved from this game of Weirdlock Jones' making for him to be the rat running the maze when the cheese was always just being moved farther from him but was always there right in front of him. Kai wonders how many lives could have been saved if he had just turn the rock over, and the worse part is this man used Kai to murder someone with poison and his training is telling him to just tear this mans head off and shove it up his own egoistical ass.

Weirdlock Jones starts talking about how he had to do it, with every breath and hiss of Weirdlock Jones' voice Kai can feel his anger raise and he wants to kill his man himself Revy gets down and away from Kai as she sees dragon scales starting to form on Kai's neck which means he is getting into fight mode and it is time for Revy to get distance from them so she can stay safe. Weirdlock jones laughs at seeing Kai change and he keeps talking about his plans and how he is making sure the streets are getting cleaned of the scum that is all over these streets and they get away on loopholes or someone being bribed so he is the answer to this problem and he wasn't gonna stop. Kai stood there and listened to all of this madness that this man was weighing lives of people good and bad vs justice, Kai realizes he and Weirdlock Jones really aren't that much different in this aspect.

Weirdlock Jones puts his hand out to Kai. "Join me and let us finish them off now while they are weakened and ripe for the picking of justice that they deserved from the start!" Kai looks at Weirdlock Jones' hand and wonders is it right to take his hand and kill and turn in what is left of them or is it more for justice to stand up and take down Weirdlock Jones who had poked the hornets nest and caused them to cause more destruction and death than was needed, this was and would be a turning point for where Kai will go and what he will do going forward. Revy is confused why Kai hasn't slapped the mans hand away yet and started fighting him there was no choice here they had to take down Weirdlock Jones and bring him to justice for what he had done and what he is gonna do going forward from this moment.

Kai snaps out of his thoughts and he slaps the hand away from himself. "Like hell I would join you, you creep, you killed so many people for some greater good. That greater good ended with your first victim then it turned to serial killing and setting others for the fall. You set me up to die there when you had me poison his tea, you thought the loose end would be gone so you had no worries." Weirdlock Jones laughs and nods knowing he had no way of winning over Kai from the second that he had tried to have Kai die so he could get the black dragons to be leaderless and fighting in themselves for power of who would raise to their next leader then swiftly axe them and the gang when it looked like they would be back on their feet. Weirdlock Jones makes the first move, Weirdlock Jones pulls a dagger and swings it at Kai who puts his hand out and catches Weirdlock Jones at the wrist and tosses him into a stack of books, and he uses his portals to make this fight unpredictable to read, as Weirdlock Jones hadn't seen Kai use this magic yet and Kai hadn't ever seen Weirdlock Jones fight wither so they are even in this moment, Kai appears and disappears like a warping ghost that is haunting Weirdlock Jones for his very life and Kai does a creepy laugh and Weirdlock Jones' face looks a bit worried about how he is doing this.

Kai doesn't waste a second he is back on Weirdlock Jones throwing punches and swinging his katana at the poor man who has pretty sharp instincts to dodge and block attacks that seemed to just be appearing in and on top of him. "You got stronger I like it kid!" He swings the dagger backwards and Kai just barely dodges it and he flips Weirdlock Jones onto his face and Weirdlock Jones returns the favor by sweeping Kai's legs and brings down a kick to hit Kai with but Kai disappears through a portal. "Now that was too close for comfort Weirdlock." Weirdlock jones gets back to his feet and he looks around and he readies himself as him and Kai start going blow for blow. They side away from the other from the blows. Then Kai runs at a wall and through a portal then through a different portal then he makes one and comes falling out of the portal with a punch an Weirdlock Jones looks like he is dazed from the power of that punch.

Weirdlock gets his wits back again and snaps out of his haze. "Now that was one hell of a dirty sucker punch you just did there." Kai is feeling the strain on his body from using his dragon force along with using his magic and the beating his body has take even with his heightened enforced body. He knows he doesn't have much left in the tank but he can see Weirdlock Jones isn't in the best of shapes either. Kai is breathing heavily and he has to let his dragon force form down cause he is starting to run on fumes. He figures the next one to lead a clean hit is gonna win. Kai takes a deep breath and he slightly hops and he rocks on his feet, Weirdlock makes the first move coming into Kai to take a swing but Weirdlock angles his body so if Kai tries the hip toss again will just end up getting stabbed by the dagger in his other hand.

Instead of dodging or doing anything Kai goes intangible and Weirdlock Jones goes right through him like he was just an illusion. Kai attacks from behind the man hitting the back of the mans neck and the man drops like a bag of bricks to the floor and Kai restrains Weirdlock, then Kai falls to the ground completely out of fuel. Revy runs over to him and looks at him would is beaten up and bloody and she huffs at him and he smiles at her. The rune knights come busting in to see Kai beaten up and Weirdlock Jones restrained and knocked out on the ground. Kai starts explaining what happened and what had been planned and that it was Weirdlock from the start, killing people and setting others up for it sending them and others on wild goose chases just to get to the higher ups of the criminals and to keep the run knights off of his back and them throwing money at him for catching people for crimes that he, himself was committing but no one ever questioned his results just the people he had them drag in and had already been paid for. The rune knights look at all of the stuff that covers the walls and they see Kai is telling the truth so they pay Kai and they take Weirdlock away with them. Kai still questions if this was really the right way, but it was too late for now, Kai goes to use the hot springs.
