Hassan

mission
Spoiler:

Oak town, the place that just keeps on giving. Hassan wondered when exactly he was going to skip town for good and head off to the next destination. However, he believed that he needed a heck of a lot of money in order to fend for himself properly. Therefore, until he feels as if he strikes gold, Hassan was going to head off and do a lot more jobs. In order to do so, he had to utilize all factors of getting something to do with his particular skill sets. Hassan had nothing against the martello family, he would even say that he had a bunch of his experience from them. However, the reason that he did keep himself apart from the martello family was due to the fact that he killed some of their hitmen in order to extend the life of a peasant boy who heard something they shouldn't have. It has been some time since he was around them, so Hassan figured that he was in the clear when he arrived at the gallery.

"Remy Martello?"

Hassan said this to himself, mumbling the name of the man that was going to participate in the auction today. This was definitely a surprise to Hassan.

"Oh, I see that you are here as well Hassan. I haven't seen you in quite some time, but I have heard of you taking some other jobs. Don't worry, the martello family doesn't take offense to those who tend to work for other people, so as long as you aren't working for the opposite, family. " Ther was some truth to that. Regardless of how that can be downplayed, it's easy to lose your life if you try to double-cross a family by working for another one. "I don't believe in coincidences, and even if this was, id rather put this into perspective and offer you a job on the spot. " Hassan straightened up, wondering what the details of the job and what he would be doing this time for the Martello family. "There is a number of priceless artifacts that would be going up for sale. On the flip side, there is a bunch of objects that even if they have their beauty and aesthetics, are worth absolutely nothing."

So there was a good chance that Hassan was to switch the prices around so that things could fall in place for the martello family member to buy it up.

Hassan took the job. It was a relatively easy one that didn't involve having to take anyone out or do any sort of killing. It wasn't as if Hassan shied away from such a thing. However, if he wanted to stay long in Oak town, or until he got as much money as he possibly could from the odd jobs that were being promoted there, it would be best to keep his exposure to a minimum. With the items that he needed to do the auction tampering, the first thing that was directed for Hassan to do was to sneak into the back room where all of the items were being held. With Hassan's speed, sneaking around from corner to corner and quickly moving to the next blind spot was something he was capable of doing.  The guards tended to rotate from time to time, perhaps from either duty or restlessness.  However, they had a pattern that was easy to follow, which allowed Hassan to manage.

With a bit of waiting and moving here and there, Hassan managed to make his way into the back room without anyone noticing. In some instances, he looked like a master thief or a cat burglar.

After going inside of the room, Hassan started to get to work. Studying the security made him realize the movement patterns that they made from inside of the room and outside of the room. It took a couple of minutes to make their way back around, so it was up to Hassan to time it just writes and goes into hiding after making a couple of switches each time. "This is only if I can get through the comparisons of every art product. KIt looks like the intel was a little flakey this time, there are a lot more products back here than I originally anticipated. " Hassan considered as a little bit annoying, but this was something that he decided to do to get the job done. With each passing moment, Hassan took his time and made a switch on the more pricy items in the art gallery presentation with things that didn't cost as much, but had quite the deception when it came to how much it could be worth. "If I didn't know any better, I would say that this is going pretty well." Hassan was pleased at the progress, but just then, the door nob started to open.

Using his speed, Hassan made it within his best interest to hide in plain sight to ensure that the guards wouldn't find him. Two big men walked in, they were over six feet tall and had a body structure that was similar to one another. Perhaps they had the same amount of training or maybe they even came from the same company and were working this job together. Either way, Hassan observed their body structure in the sense of what they were capable of doing, and getting into a fight was out of the question. Not only was he unsure about how he would be able to come out on top, but the mission would be a failure if he was able to get caught here. As Hassan quietly and stealthily snuck into the closet, he waited quietly as they walked around to observe if anything was amiss. PErhaps there were things that happened in the past that made them assume that intruders would be present? Either way, they stood around the room for about two minutes before heading back out to go through the rounds all over again. "phew..." After wiping the sweat from his eyebrow, Hassan went back to changing the prices again.

Observing the room, it looks like the bidding has actually started and that the men were quite possibly going to be in the auction holding room a lot more often. After all, this was the location where most of the auction material was stored, and some of the paintings were already missing. Panic started to set in just a little bit as Hassan got his breathing under control. the only thing that this meant was that he had to be mindful of his time and go at it again. As long as Hassan was able to get the changes up and running for the higher-priced materials, he would have done the job that Remy Martello sought him out to do.

After a while, the guards came again and Hassan went into the closet to hide once more. From the rustling outside of the closed door, Hassan was able to make an educated guess that they were rolling out with the art pieces as efficiently as possible. The auction was a success, which could be a blessing and a curse for Hassan depending on how many things he managed to change in the short amount of time. Either way, this was the last stretch.

In regards to the switching, Hassan was pretty much finished with the switching of the art pieces as soon as he heard the footsteps of the guards coming closer. " Alright, showtime. " Hiding into the closet once more, Hassan waited as the guards walked in and started to bring out the last bit of pieces as he waited for them to finish. Once they did, with his speed, Hassan started to head out of the backroom in order to wait by the actual bathrooms while the auction finished up. In Hassan's opinion, waiting for the auction to finish and staying out of sight was best for both the person doing the job, As well as the employer if there is any sort of suspicions that might arise from them talking to each other. Hassan didn't want that, so he pretty much minded his business for the next couple of minutes and stayed away from the general population. With him checking the scheduling of how long the bidding should last for each piece and the time that was displayed on his watch, Hassan finally decided to move and head on back to the main entrance area.

With how Remy dressed and presented himself, it wasn't hard to spot him. He mingled here and there and perhaps there was some time for him to goat due to him knowing the trade secret of the true worth of everything he bought. The secret to that was the fact that everything cheap that he bought without much competition had the true value to it due to Hassan's efforts. Even if they were to catch something like this at a later date, Hassan figured that it was the responsibility of the auction house to handle it and not anyone else. Satisfied with his job, Hassan spoke to Remy alone to receive his pay.
