Poropo Poproporp
Poropo was asked to come in the next day for Barras' assistant even though the monk had helped the day prior - the assistant was feeling much better all of a sudden, which made the monk skeptical, but a job at the forge would always be a good job! The devotion to the Iron Deity was strong within a forge working with metal, the purest substance known to Poropo! The monk waddled into the forge again and noticed the assistant was lifting a hammer up and down repeatedly - the curious monk decided to ask, "was that arm not in a sling last we saw each other?"

The seemingly mute assistant just looked up from their workout and then pointed to tongs - Poropo seemed to get the hint, "ah, your arm needs to increase in strength again before you work on your own. I will gladly assist!" Poropo did his duty as a diligent monk and grabbed the tongs. The monk then looked around for a piece of metal which the assistant pointed to as well, "thank you...wait, is that not the work I did yesterday?"

The assistant walked over and pushed the metal into Poropo - the monk just grabbed the metal with his hands and inspected the hunk of junk, "right...not great work due to my lack of strength...I understand - we will fix it!" Poropo put the hunk of deformed metal down and used the tongs to re-grab the metal, sticking the thing into the nearby furnace for an amount of time necessary to soften the pure substance.

Poropo Poproporp
Poropo diligently pulled the softened metal out of the furnace and slapped the orange metal onto the anvil for Barras' assistant to hammer - the metal pounding was much more accurate, deliberate, and powerful than whatever the monk had done the day before! Nobody within the monk's eyes could compare with the assistant's handiwork, aside from Barras. Barras eventually walked into the forge for his own work but decided to watch his assistant and Poropo, "good work so far! Much better than yesterday! You were made for this, Poropo!" Poropo felt a little insulted despite the intention of being a compliment.

"...hah hah...yes, he is doing a fine job - if only I could do such great work, hah..." mumbled the monk in response, his voice overpowered by the skillful hammering of Barras' assistant. The monk just kept the metal soft by using the furnace and steady by using the tongs and anvil. The assistant was easily able to get back into the swing of smithing thanks to the help the monk provided! At the end of the long day of heating and holding metal, the monk was given his reward and firm hand-shake by Barras and Barras' assistant - they both liked to work with Poropo despite his lack of smithing skills and strength.
