"Hello monk, good to see you again!" Barras greeted Poropo with a wide smile while hammering away at a hunk of metal. The forge was hot and the air was filth - Poropo loved the atmosphere in here! As a devote monk of the Iron Deity, metal was considered a pure substance above all others! Iron, steel, titanium, adamantine, mythril - all metals were considered the purest form of the Iron Deity's will! Fortunately, the monk was lucky enough to take a job for Barras to work in the forge for a day! Barras' assistant hurt themselves while smithing and need Poropo to do the hammering for a while day.

"Hello to you, too! I am here to take on the job posted," greeted Poropo was he waddled into the hot forge. The assistant was standing opposite of Barras, awkwardly holding a the hunk of metal to avoid the masterpiece from deforming while Barras hammered away. However, Barras could hammer alone for the rest of the day - Poropo was wordlessly given a hammer by the assistant and show an empty anvil upon which the monk would strike hunks of metal for the rest of the day. Admittedly, the price for this work was low since the assistant would be rewarding Poropo, but the work would be a great way to devote himself to the Iron Deity and understand the purity of metal!

"Right, I hammer this when you put it in front of me? How hard? How fast? Large swings? Short swings?" asked the monk while swinging the hammer in demonstration - the monk had no idea what he was doing.

"Just hit it however you want! You'll get something done at least, hah hah hah!" shouted Barras from across the forge while continuing to masterfully hammer at an new hunk of hot metal. Barras knew what to do but did not seem to share any concrete wisdom - the monk was left with the assistant who was doing the bare minimum to avoid injury. The monk was not given a morsel of advice by anyone within the forge, as if he was supposed to bumble around with a hammer! However, Kind Monk Poropo believed this to be a test established by the Iron Deity - if the monk could not figure out what to do on his own then he had no right to call himself a monk of the Iron Deity!

"Ha! Ha! HAAAAAA!" chanted the monk as he pounded away at a hot hunk of heated metal! Barras' assistant effortlessly held the metal and even moved around to catch the monk's wild yet weak strikes - the metal was barely dented by he monk's honest yet pathetic swings. Thankfully, the monk did not have to do more than the bare minimum to be rewarded - the assistant had fulfilled his quota with the help of Poropo which allowed the monk to be rewarded for his devote work.
