PouchIt was morning. The rising sun beamed into the room filling it with the glow and warmth of Illumin. Tempris got up stretching out the rigidness that came with a long night's sleep. It was her day off and she was not sure what to do. She put on her white veil with a gold cloth over her forehead. Then she picked out a simple white battle dress with the symbol of Illumin embroidered in gold. She then put on white socks and her tan boots. The last thing grabbed was her sword which she placed on a hook attached to the back of her dress.
When she went outside, she wandered around looking for a place to sit and relax. It was a sunny day and she loved to bask in the sun to soak up the rays. Little did she know there was another man out and about, a man she use to know as Captain but now that she was out of the knights, he was just some jerk who wasted her potential. She wasn’t sure she should go speak to him. He probably did have things to do, she last recalled and she didn’t want to get mixed up in his work. It happened before with another Captain back when the illness was a thing. Still, she did not want to be seen as rude. So she bit the bullet and called out to him. “Captain, sir. How’s it going? Thank Illumin it is a beautiful day to wander about.”
At first the man just remained quiet. She debated if it was the wrong person but those doubts were quickly squashed. This was the Captain that was in charge of. Sure she didn’t speak to him normally and he wasn’t her direct captain but they have met before. Clearly he was just joking. They did that right. Illumin, please say they do that. Her fears, however, were realized when the man spoke. "Sorry, do I know you kid? I'm a busy man you know. I dont have time to play. I have a tournament in which i'm the champion of and I need to set up."
