The Weapon Smithy Regulations

Whether from reaching level 5 within your guild, completing a custom storyline or as a reward from an event on the site, there may come a time where characters gain custom tickets (ranging from Rare to Mythic). Those tickets can be brought here, where characters can create their own custom pieces of equipment. Perhaps the final piece of your build will come together with this items, or perhaps this will simply make your already impressive character even stronger. Be sure to read over the regulations regarding creation, and feel free to look over the suggested effects and drawbacks list if you're looking for inspiration.

Weapon Smithy Regulations

  • When first creating your customs, The user needs to create a topic in the Forge forum with the following title: Guest's Forge, which will hold all of your customs and custom summaries.

  • The first post in the topic must be: I am Guest and this is my Forge.

  • Weapon Smithy Regulations cover the custom weapon creation, this includes Swords, Axes, Spears, Daggers, Bows, Guns, Staffs, and Books.

  • Item Points: Each Custom has a preset amount of points. Depending on the item type and rarity they have different amounts that they can use. Item Points dictate what a custom can do with effects, spells, additional durability, and additional attributes each costing a certain amount.

  • Damage: Every Weapon has a damage amount based upon its rarity and type. Users may increase the damage by 5 per 1 point for melee weapons and 5 per 2 points for staff, bows, and guns.

  • Handling: If the custom is a melee weapon and the handling of the weapon is two-handed, they get a 50% flat increase to damage, however, will have a speed penalty attached to them equal to 30% of the weapon's total damage.

  • Size: If the custom is a melee weapon that exceeds one meter in length or is a spear that exceeds two meters in length, it takes 2 Item Points for the next meter and doubles up for every additional meter, up to a total length of 5 meters. For example, a four-meter long weapon or five-meter long spear will take up (2+4+8) = 14 Item Points for the size factor.

  • Durability: Every item has durability based upon its rarity and type. Users may increase the durability by 1x A-Rank for 1 Item Point. This cost doubles each time the user increases the item's durability, up to 2x S-Rank. For example, adding 3 A-ranks worth of durability onto a sword will cost 7 (1+2+4) item points. If the custom is a staff, book or ranged weapon then the initial cost is 2 item points. Details on that can be found below:
