Overall: Since his turning 260 years ago, no one has seen his eyes as anything other than red. Though green was his birth color, becoming a vampire has changed much for his appearance. He now has a pair of sharp fangs, and every drop of fluid to come from his body is blood. He has incredibly long red hair flowing down his back that he sometimes wraps into a ponytail using rose vines created by his own magic.

His skin is pale and cold to touch. Despite his nature, he'll offer a friendly smile to those he meets. Despite being male, he tends to display traits both masculine and feminine. Often times when people meet him, they assume he's a very tall female. The majority of the time people are simply unsure of his gender, and he rarely corrects them.

Extra: Rose earrings. Rose vine tattoo up his left leg, across his back, and wrapping around her shoulder going down his right arm and ending at his wrist.

PERSONALITY

Personality:
Aiden is, for the most part, a kind person. He has a soft spot for children, especially as he could never have any of his own becoming a vampire at such a young age and lacking the opportunity to reproduce and settle down. For the first several years of his undead life, Aiden survived off the blood of animals. As time went by, that seemed to satiate the hunger less and less forcing him to seek other sources. Nowadays, he feeds from magical creatures, magic blood, and (when available) willing victims. Though it's not common to find a person willing to be a food source to a vampire, Aiden has encountered a few over the centuries.

Of course, unlike him, they all passed of old age. That makes it difficult to keep a living feeding source. As he lacks the will to kill innocent people, he holds a preference for magic blood. However, if unavailable, he has been known to survive from the blood of animals just as well. He has nothing against draining an enemy of blood depending on their crimes. He has slaughtered countless murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and other such humans. In fact, after everything that he's seen, humans truly are the worst creatures in Earthland.

Likes:

Children: He seems to have a bit of a paternal side that comes out when children are present.
Roses: They've always been a preferred flower of his. So much so that he integrated them into his magic after centuries of studying.

Dislikes:

Humans: Though he refuses to stoop to their level and kill an innocent based on race alone, he still holds a moderate amount of dislike towards humans as a whole after all the horrible things he's witnessed.
Forcefully Feeding: Although he isn't very private about his nature, he'd still prefer to gain permission rather than slaughtering the masses in a bloodlust rampage.

Motivations:

All the Time in the World: When you're immortal, you don't need much motivation to do what you do. With so much time on your hands, it's easy to study, observe, socialize and learn. And as it seems, there is an endless amount of knowledge to be gained. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Fears:

Mirrors: The fact he lacks a reflection disturbs him and angers him somewhat. It's not for the secrecy of others but for his own sanity that he destroys mirrors and avoids most reflective surfaces.
Liches: Seriouly, they just freak him out.

HISTORY

History:
Aiden was born centuries ago to a well to do family in a high priced neighborhood. He was always fascinated with plants and nature ever since he was a kid and took to the study of bontany. With this study, he had developed his magic by the age of 14. His parents were proud of him and his five siblings were quite impressed as well as a bit jealous. However, they were a supportive family that stood by each other through it all. All that changed once Aiden turned 18-years-old. It wasn't related to his birthday or even to his age. It was simply a twist of fate that brought the rise of Aiden and the fall of his family.

As he practiced his magic, he had no idea he was being watched by a vampire from a very prestigious bloodline. The Rosa bloodline. One night, he was in his room preparing to turn in for the night. That same night, a vampiress crept silently into his bedroom. As he slept, he had no idea what was about to befall him as he felt a sharp pinch upon his neck. His eyes opened and he gasped. As much as he wanted to fight, it was pleasurable to him. He grew weak, closing his eyes as she drained him of every drop. As he lay in bed, a still warm but very dead corpse, the vampiress bit her wrist and dripped a single drop of her blood into his mouth. She then left into the night, waiting and watching for the turning to happen.

For him, it wasn't instant. In fact, he turned the following morning when his mother attempted to wake him up. It was 5 in the morning. Still dark outside. His family always believed in the saying 'earth to bed, early to rise...' and so it was no surprise. Except, this morning was different. His eyes opened, now blood red as he sat straight up and embraced his mother draining her until dead. He was still thirsty and craved more. So he ravaged his home, draining his father of blood and tossing his corpse to the ground. He would then feed hungrily on the blood of his siblings, ages 21, 16, 14, 12, and 7. Once the bloodlust subsided, and he saw the carnage he had created, he screamed and cried as tears of blood ran down his face.

From that moment on, he swore to never feed on another human. At least not to the point of taking their life. As he left his home behind, he spent centuries researching different methods of obtaining blood to avoid another incident such as that of his family.
