"The Hannya mask is a mask used in Noh theater, representing a jealous female demon. It possesses two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and a leering mouth. The Hannya mask is said to be demonic and dangerous but also sorrowful and tormented, displaying the complexity of human emotions. When the actor looks straight ahead, the mask appears frightening and angry; when tilted slightly down, the face of the demon appears to be sorrowful, as though crying. Hannya masks appear in various skin tones: a white mask indicates a woman with a refined character, a red mask depicts a less refined character, and the darkest red depicts true demons. It is said that Momijigari might not be a regular mask, but an actual Flame Oni's cursed object. It burned off the faces of many people attempting to wear it, thus it got sealed away." that was the description of the Momijigari mask, however, ever since Masami received it from Avvar Mountains, he understood that there was something deeper of meaning in the mask that he held with two hands the first time he had accepted it. Thus, for the sake of Hosenka City and the whole of Earthland, he was ready to slay the demon back into its' vessel and as always, to "get the job done."

Masami arrived in Hinoki Theater with the staff management trying to use their spells to seal the demon back in its' realm. "Masami-sama," they call, surprised at his arrival. The voice of a woman snarled from the inside of Hinoki Theater, and all of the theater's staffs were outside, trying to keep it from leaving from its' place. "We don't know what happened... there was a magic seal and suddenly... there was darkness and—" enough. Masami stopped her from continuing once more, "I know how to fix this, do not worry," he said, then walked the steps of the theater's entrance. Before he'd continue, Masami would turn back and leave an order. "Make sure that everyone is safe instead. You may leave me here alone," and with that, he'd turn his back and proceed; the rest of the staffs had turned their backs as well, but to leave Masami alone with the demon inside the theater, unsure of how well Masami will be able to seal them back to the spirit realm.

Masami opened the doors with both of his hands and immediately, he was met with a woman whom was chained down to the ground with magical spells. It seems to be in a bind, and the chains were definitely hurting her, which explains the wailings of a hundred voices. "My... am I going to finally, battle with my master?" they'd laugh, as though the mask took form of a woman, their voices were from the hundreds of previous masters, those who have failed to exterminate the demon and were instead eaten by it. The previous master was probably a woman, he thought when his eyes scanned the demon from head to toe, and she definitely was gigantic. So, since he had to fight her, he got himself ready: Masami grabbed his face and extracted one mask per hand, then spread his arms to meet with the woman while she was still under a spell. "Are you really going to go against me?!" they spoke in an angered tone of voice; when they had a hundred voices earlier, this time, she used two-hundred voices and worried Masami that he might be the two-hundred first voice. However, Masami didn't risk and kept his mouth shut, instead throwing in the masks from his hands then called forth spirit balls of various sizes. The spirit balls followed the mask and altogether struck the demon's head, causing it to wail with its' hundreds of voices and eventually snarling at Masami. "Unmerciful," they said, "I'm supposed to be your master!"

The binds kept the demon captive, hurting them in their attempt to grieve an attack. Their scream shut the windows and doors open due to the impact, almost throwing Masami off of his feet. Now, Masami understood that there was no way this will be resolved through a harmless gateway. Truly, Masami has no other choice but to seal the demon through extermination.

Momijigari used its' whole wrath to break free from the chains that bind them from the surface to the underworld, and they did so with a large screech; Masami clapped at the right moment and created magic circles over his head using magic, keeping him in his feet and form in place so that he may not get thrown off by the impact of the wind. Then, Momijigari would laugh, "Humans are weak," it told specifically Masami, their voice resembling their female form more than it did a while ago, and they said it so with a laugh under her jaws, "to deal that much... who are you?" Should Masami listen to it, assuming it knows something Masami didn't know? Perhaps they'd know who Minamoto was to Masami, or how he was "cursed" in the first place. Now that spirits from a while ago were saying so many nonsensical things, it was finally coming together for Masami. However, when he paused to think of a proper question, Momijigari would change their mind and see little of Masami for being human. "You were already a demon anyway."

They arched their backs and pulled her lips into a circle; when she took a breath, Masami thought that his situation was familiar. Thus, his eyes widened immediately after seeing purple flames being breathed from her mouth. He started running right before the flames reached the floors, enough time to distance himself from the starting point of the fire breath, and he'd continue running around the circumference of the spirit's summoning area and they'd continue to breathe fire until Masami was finally at their rearguard. Looks like it's no use, he thought right before hopping, his hand over his face. Once he was at the right distance, Masami pulled what seemed to be a mask he created out of fire, and he did it twice; then, he swung his arms crossed, tossing the masks right at Momijigari's head. What caught him while he was falling from the air was what seemed to be a gigantic palm, and it grabbed Masami, slamming him to the ground beside it.

It looks like it wasn't just one palm, but a whole arm from the ground. It was large enough to hold Masami's whole self, and it wasn't alone. When Masami raised his head to check his surroundings and the location he had fallen unto, he had realized that arms had grown from all of the theater's floors, and that miasma has filled the air. All the lights have turned purple in color and anything beyond the spirit's abdomen and upwards can no longer be seen due to the thick dark mist that surrounded it. Ah, this is bad... he thought, and he was right. All these arms were yearning for things to grab and if this keeps up, Masami himself will be dragged down to hell.

"It's hard to fight if you're blind, isn't it?" now, the voices of the spirit spread all throughout the whole theater rather than coming from a single source. Not only that, but it was as if Masami was surrounded by tall grass, his vision was being blocked by the arms that ripped itself from the theater floors. More like I cannot fight if I'm unable to move, said Masami in his thoughts, the same moment he had stretched his arms downwards as to cast a spell—wherein spirit balls embodied by fire would spark all around Masami, and then all of them charged forward when Masami pointed at the sky, attacking all the arms in a diameter range. That way, not only will he burn these arms back to hell, but it will also give him way to free himself from more attacks.

The spirit laughed at Masami's attempt to unbind himself from their wraths, and now most of the arms had brought themselves back underground. Even if Masami's vision was no longer blocked by the undead arms, the thick miasma was still there to refrain Masami from any further offensives. It doesn't seem so bad after all... Masami doesn't know how much further damage Momijigari can take, but not unless he continues attacking, he won't go anywhere. This scenario will always be more frightening than everything else; to Masami, this is a big step, a big leap of faith. More than just a cure—more than just a battle.

Then, a single entity absorbed the thick miasma—all of it. Like tsunami, it was going to bring it back to Masami before he could even know. When a great span of flames expanded from the mouth of a now illuminated Momijigari, Masami clapped and quietly uttered, "First Torii," and he'd recall the visions he saw while he was still in the spirit realm a few hours ago, even if those hours felt like either minutes or days. The first torii gate was far from the second, and Masami felt as if he ran a mile, which why that spell felt so close to home. Then, when he uttered the spell's name, a gigantic mask formed right in front of him, and it signaled him to utter the next order. "Second Torii," now, the distance of the second torii gate from the third is not as great as the first one. When Masami uttered that spell name, he clapped once more, summoning another mask that was greater than the first; it placed itself in front of the first mask. Then, the greatest of them all; "Third Torii," it had created a mask larger than everything else, and it stood in front of the first and the second masks. Now, each of the masks had unique features, resembling different Noh characters, and all those characters took the fire on, absorbing the energy of the demon.

Their voice would echo while fire was still being spewed in, "What is this?" they asked, "To be able to absorb this much energy from me...!" While Masami was behind those three masks, he had changed form and let his demon soul take over. With two masks already in each of his hands, along with bursts of flames that had now resembled a fox' face, they charged right into the spirit. And with that, it was finished off. Masami remembered how angry it was to be sealed back into a mask, filling the whole theater with the voices of hundreds of spirits that were once human. Masami's feet touched the ground once more, the same time the mask hit the floors, clearing all of the darkness from within. It sparked before the theater was brought back to its' normal lighting and the disappearance of the spirit resembled a vacuum noise. Now that it was finished, the only thing Masami was left to do was to reclaim the mask, still in his take-over form, and the orb rolled until it reached the theater's entrances—wherein the doors would open for the staff members to check what happened, only to see a form of Masami they have never seen before.

In take-over form, Masami's hair lengths down to his thighs, and his body will become more matured in appearance. His clothing will change and this sort of thing hasn't been revealed yet to the theater's management team. Therefore, this is the first time they've seen the Masami that was taken over by his demon soul, however they still rushed to embrace him, shouting: "Masami-sama!" and made sure that the theater was not burnt down or anything. However, it was inevitable that the establishment would have multiple breakage and slight destruction but all those happened at bare minimum. They'd cry and tell how worried they were, and then tell stories of what they did while they were outside the theater, and Masami will proudly admit, "I'm alright," while embracing a lot of them back. In this form, he's seemingly taller in height, so a lot of them appeared a little off in shape and size.

"The spirit was sealed back in," they'd distance themselves, and Masami will show the mask that he'll hold using one hand. Since he was in take-over form, the Momijigari mask was of purple in color, and Masami had only realized that now. "Ah, my form," he'd embarrassingly admit and his face flushed into slight redness. With a flick of a finger, fire twisted from head to toe and turned him back to the Masami that everybody knew. The same went for the purple Momijigari mask that was now deep red of color, a style that everyone was familiar of. "It's sealed into this mask now," he continued, looking straight at the eyes of the Momijigari mask, "now, I'm sure that it won't harm us ever again." Masami said that because he was certain that he had reclaimed his rights to command the Momijigari mask as the "rightful owner" and master. Now, the demon inside it, especially the curse; it will no longer pursue independence. "The orb!" he pointed at the orb that rolled itself outside the theater's steps, and everybody watched as Masami chases it outside.

The orb rolled out, hit the theater's stairs, and landed safely on a person's hand. "Master Zeami," Masami called, accepting the orb after approaching Zeami, who was in his normal, human adult form as he was the first time they met. Zeami smiled at the Masami whose tasks were now completed, now the only thing he needed to do was make preparations (such as renovating it... the second time) and finally extract the cure. "You did well," Zeami said, touching Masami's head with his palm, "later, I'll teach you how to extract the cure, then you may send it back to Joya." A part of Masami assumed that Zeami knew everything that was going on about him. Based on how he said his words, he was certain that Masami won't go back to Joya, because then he'd instead talk about preparations of leaving—except he did not. Masami responded instead with a nod, "Thank you very much," he said, the orb still glowing in between both of his palms. When Zeami tapped this, it glowed; a glow that slightly blinded Masami, causing the orb to disperse into tiny shreds and sparks. Masami trusted that Zeami won't do anything malevolent and instead of worrying, he was instead surprised—and amused? Like a magic show, and Masami was the audience. "What did you do?" he asked, trying to be polite. He understood that the man in front of him was half-human and half-spirit, otherwise he'll be unable to achieve the asks that he had performed just a while ago: when he changed forms and protected Masami by sealing all of the spirits off. Something like that can only by done by an entity so powerful. Zeami answered in the same tone of voice, and he had prepared this line ever since the start. "You are the cure now," as if Masami exactly knew, he had accepted the answer with no worries nor doubt.
