Overall: Alyssandra is a fairly standard looking elf hailing from the woodland realms, with a slim build and short, neck-length blonde hair which is allowed to flow freely in the air. His wondrous blue eyes, often a favourite of any ladies he meets, do nothing to help his inability to properly smile causing him to always seem a lot more mischievous than he ever intends. His clothing is also usually kept fairly standard, but allowing mobility at a moment's notice, with a white t-shirt, blue trousers and a pair of boots. Other than being a lot more attractive than the average, and his pointed ears, Aly simply blends in.

PERSONALITY

Personality: There are three words often used to described Alyssandra to his peers: kind, cocky and patient. The first came from his upbringing, as he was taught from a young age to always look out for people, and animals, no matter who they were and where they came from. Everyone had a place in the world, and that should always be respected. Aly has always stayed true to that mantra, and has protected the peoples of all nations, never showing prejudice regardless of how they acted to him. He has experienced racism himself during his years in Fiore, and also elsewhere, so he wishes to ensure that no others go through the same pain he did.

His cockiness is the only trait that he didn’t pick up from his younger years. This is very much an aspect of his personality that has only just emerged, after winning an archery competition in Worth Woodsea. It brought out the part of him that even he didn’t know existed, and now he figures he’s one of, if not the, best archer in all of Fiore, potentially all of Earthland. And finally, his patience came from the years of hunting in the forests where he grew up. No matter how irritating someone may be, Aly can take his time on anything or, well, almost anything.

Likes:

Green: Both his favourite colour and the land he grew up, Aly loves the sight and feel of the green grass and the forests which remind him of his birthplace. It feels freeing and gives him a joy like no other.
Hunting: Aly grew up hunting for his meals, honing his craft to become an incredible marksman. While it might be less important to hunt for every meal, the young wood-elf certainly enjoys the activity.

Dislikes:

Restrictive Clothes: What is the point of suits? That's how Aly feels anytime he has to wear one, and he's had to more times than he wishes. The feeling of not being able to perform flips, or manoeuvre his body as he desires, is something he very much dislikes.
Spicy Food: Aly hates, and he cannot stress this enough, HATES food with any slight indication of spiciness. He grew up on tender meats and enjoys all of his food very plain. The moment it has a kick, he runs for the nearest water source.

Motivations:

Strength: Aly wishes to gain more strength than any other, but not for selfish reasons. He has borne witness to the progression of industry, and how it has destroyed the forests he loves and the animals he cares for. He wishes to gain the strength necessary to save the tribes and the forest of Worth Woodsea, before there's nothing left of it.

Fears:

Thunderstorms: One of the forces of nature that truly terrify Alyssandra, the thunderstorms were few growing up but they were forceful. The mixture of rain, thunder and lightning in the darkness cause Aly to freeze up in shock.
Fire: Calling fire a fear isn't strictly speaking accurate rather, he despises fire. He has seen the destruction caused by the unrelenting force of a fire and he wishes to douse every fire he can find, both literally and otherwise.

HISTORY

History: Alyssandra’s birth wasn’t anything special at the time. Born to a Caelese father and Bellan mother in the woodland forests of his father’s homeland, he was the son of the small village’s best huntress and even better mother. Since they raised their child in Caelum, Aly’s Bellan mother got to name her son, opting for a name she considered to be unisex despite its femininity. It was never something the wood elf child held against his mother, as he never knew the issues with his name until he was much older and living in Fiore. His mother taught him to protect the forests and taught him to hunt the animals that lived among them. However, they would never hunt more than was required and often fought off poachers so that they would not disturb the balance of nature within the forests.

However, humankind, as Aly would soon learn, were not as kind to the forests as his people were. Promoting growth in Caelum came first and foremost, and often resulted in the burning down of forests for either the wood of the location. When they came, there was no warning of attack, no peaceful negotiations to protect the forest and those native to the area. Instead, there was only fire. Fire and death in the village. Both of his parents tried to stop the people of Caelum, the human mages who sought only destruction. Aly’s mother survived, using her skills to stalk the mages and halt their progress. His father, lacking the abilities that had made his mother a legend, had perished in the fires. Running from Caelum, the mother and son would find themselves in the nearby country of Fiore, residing with the druidic people of Orias village and protecting their forest like his could not be. He trained with the bow and became a marksman on par with his mother. She decided to stay in the village, while Aly ventured out, looking to meet the humans and understand them better. To that end, he joined the Fairy Tail guild.
