What's Eaten

(307) Smiling, Vice is satisfied with his current progress as a mage. A steady black mage staff adorns his back. Stability brings less chaotic thoughts to this youth. While his magic is still dark, and his thoughts moreso, he at least feels personally safer. Hargeon is more tolerable. Training now feels meaningful; participating in guild quests might actually help the guild! Even now, Vice stands, a solid stare peering down at a dock. Readiness builds for his creativity to collide. Lacking laziness, Vice feels charitable, and is also pursuing a legal test subject, for his magic training. Thoughts begin to organize with his steps, and Vice walks toward a small ship. Shelving himself on a coastal ship, the Void Magic user feels out his steps to the forward future, on the heart of a rocky vessel.

Coming across a breakthrough in his magic research, Vice had mixed feelings. While he's reached heights he'd never dreamed of, he also has a magic that might not suit him. Studying the properties, and potential, have brought Vice to deep self-reflection. Drawn-out fighting by draining mana is befitting of a Berserker, in a way. Unfortunately, Vice himself doesn't realize how he wants to approach defending himself, if need be. There is not enough practical experience to justify his creative whims. Calm and calculative when needed, Vice still only sees short-term gains by buffing himself at this juncture.

A Berserker? Assuming he'd even encountered one, or been branded one, Vice could only find the term a joke. Not just fancying himself classy, Vice doesn't even lean into the thought of himself being a hornet's nest, ready to be poked into "uncharacteristic" rage. Realizing the ultimate dangers in his magic, Vice still isn't shy to test his future offensive might. Hopefully, he'll fill fulfilled, with the offense the only path toward the mana succ.

What's Eaten

(325) 76 intel+event=375 needed from 50% off.

Coming into a little corner of the coast, the ship stops, and Vice leans off the ship. Falling off the ship, Vice's palm swings, and he comes to a stop on the surface of the water. Looking downward, in a smooth motion, Vice continues his now-activated Toon Run spell. In this instance, he simply prepares to test concurrently using a conceptualized magic. Clawing his back, the mage staff is grasped, and then dipped into the deep below. Sucking in his breath, focus maximizes, and Vice lets loose his building tension, for true safety. Shaking his staff, Vice falls into the water first. Now eyeing a dark monster, who's purpose and appearance is a mere distraction, Vice pulls himself toward the sea's pet. Losing his staff purposely to the monster, Vice accepts his momentum.

The free hand pokes forward. Struggle, sound, and exasperation aren't allowed. The fish happily allows failure, the offensive spell Vice has thought of bottles out in manifesting properly, and he accepts struggling force that rocks the blood in his body. Finally, Vice kicks, and the spell appears; a forceful dent collapses the water and body of the targeted creature. As expected and unexpected, for this Void Magic at this rank. Popping up out of the dark waters, Vice accepts the reactionary outcome, and completes his mindset for the spellcasting. If Vice wants something done right, he just has to do it himself.

For some reason, he can't hurt things without doing it personally, but it comes out to greater effect when he does. In the future, he could look to find an item that gives him flexibility, but why settle for an inferior option? Confident in his utilization of his new spell, Vice sees no need for change. The entire process met his level of acceptance toward a needed outcome. A silent ride on the ship ensues, and the Blue Pegasus mage safely goes to enjoy some food with his staff stick.
