TRAITS

  • Expansionist: Wilhelm is personally invested in the claiming and settlement of new lands and is dedicated to ensuring that colonial expansion remains a top priority for our state
  • Inspiring: Since a young age, Wilhelm has been leading campaigns with his father. Due to taking a great interest in the behavior of the troops, Wilhelm is able to instill and inspire a strict sense of discipline in everyone in our ranks, from the lowest to the highest.
  • Charismatic: Time after time, Wilhelm has proven himself in battle. His presence can lead even the most cowardly Boscosi to find their courage.

BACKGROUND

As the legitimate firstborn of King Harald, Wilhelm was raised harshly by his father. Sent on campaigns at a young age, it almost seemed as if King Harald did not care about Wilhelm's survival. Though, over time, the countless campaigns turned Wilhelm into a hardened warrior. The military, therefore, believes that Wilhelm should rule Bosco after King Harald's death because he is the only one who could properly lead future campaigns. Though, he is being challenged for the position by all his siblings who hold a different view. Among them, Wilhelm only cares about Hildegard. When Wilhelm found out about Reiner, he immediately despised his illegitimate brother. Wilhelm could not understand why his father sent Reiner away to protect him.

THRONE

Should Wilhelm succeed in claiming the throne, Bosco would annex the remaining unconquered regions from Stella. Bosco would remain an absolute monarchy in which Wilhelm as King Wilhelm would hold supreme autocratic authority, principally not being restricted by written laws, legislature, or customs.

Wilhelm

TRAITS

  • Well-Advised: Always ready to listen to the wise counsel of others, Cassia attracts a greater number of people to the court and cabinet.
  • Righteous: A great interest in the common men and women of Bosco has made Cassia well-loved and Bosco more resistant to harsh times in general and the ravages of war in particular.
  • Silver Tongue: In communication with other nations, Cassia is able to present past actions in much more favorable lighting. Once neighbors see the reasons for Bosco's actions they are much more likely to forgive in the long run for any transgressions.

BACKGROUND

Cassia has been Wilhelm's rival since the day they were born. While Wilhelm is supported by the nobility and military, Cassia is supported by the commoners, the backbone of Bosco. She dislikes the constant need for expansions and believes that they bring in more hurt than joy to the commoners. Even though the expansions generate wealth that can be used to develop Bosco, the many lives lost on the battlefields are those of the conscripted commoners. She hopes to usher in a new era of peace.

THRONE

Cassia believes that Bosco should be ruled for the people by the people. Should Cassia inherit the throne, the nation would change into a constitutional monarchy. Cassia would exercise authority in accordance with a written or unwritten constitution as Queen Cassia. She will still hold the right to veto and certain changes will still require her signature before they can be implemented. Stella's conquered regions would still remain under Bosco's control, though they may operate themselves semi-autonomously. They will receive support from Bosco to develop their infrastructure and such, but in return will have to provide men and resources to support Bosco as well.

TRAITS

  • Pious: Religiously devoted, spiritual, and religious, Brunhild ensures that Bosco will not lose its course and inspires confidence in faith.
  • Zealot: Being fanatically devoted to the Illuminian faith allows Brunhild to inspire more people to convert to the Illuminian religion and unify its people.
  • Secretive: Brunhild possesses a natural instinct to keep doors closed and letters encrypted. Such behavior makes it incredibly difficult for others to infiltrate Bosco.

BACKGROUND

When the Divine tried to use the Demonic Incursions to expand their influence across Earthland, King Harald questioned the Divine's authority to freely move the Holy Knights through his nation. King Harald believed that the Divine would not retreat her forces after the ordeal and instead appointed Brunhild as the rightful Divine of the Illuminian Church in Bosco. Brunhild, an immensely powerful Nephilim, was a perfect fit for the role and got quickly accepted by the Boscosi clergy. After the death of King Harald, Brunhild's influence tremendously increased as the Boscosi Divine. Brunhild does not get along with Reiner and Hildegard and considers them sinners to the faith.

THRONE

Should Brunhild be installed as the ruler, she will lead the nation into a more isolated position. Bosco would shift into a theocracy governed by Brunhild assuming both the role of head of state and church. She will keep her title as Divine and not go by something else. Brunhild plans to retain control of Stella's conquered regions and convert them. Eventually, she wants to expand her control in Boco and convert the others as well. In Bosco, those not following the state religion will eventually become less accepted forcing them to practice their religion in secret.

  • Industrious: Never content to rest and through increasingly long workdays, Reiner can constantly manage the details within the nation to maximize the output and collected revenue for all resources under state control.
  • Careful: By carefully navigating around the various unspoken rules in interstate relations, Reiner is able to lessen the impact of Bosco's actual transgressions.
  • Ambitious: The ambition to learn about the world and the governing principles of men make Reiner able to understand and implement new technology much more efficiently than would otherwise be possible.

BACKGROUND

The crippled bastard son of the belated King Harald was born a few days before Wilhelm making him the oldest. As an infant, Reiner and his mother were sent to Talaz Lagaar by King Harald so that they could live in peace. His mother passed away soon after that. As Reiner grew up it became clear that his lack of mobility got compensated by his brilliant mind. As a child, Reiner managed to design an upgraded wheelchair only using old Talaz Lagaari schematics. Eventually, it became clear that Reiner could lose himself in the pursuit of innovation. When they found out that Reiner had been experimenting on himself, they banished him from Talaz Lagaar. When Reiner returned to the mainland, he found out that his father had passed away. He suddenly started to ponder about succession. Something he never considered before. With innovation in mind, Reiner believed that he could offer Bosco the best possible future.

THRONE

Should the throne be obtained by Reiner, Bosco would become a republic. Reiner would become the head of state and assume the role of Chancellor Reiner. Bosco would focus on becoming an industrialized mercantile nation. Furthermore, Bosco would see some technological advancements. Reiner will use some of the memorized schematics to come up with alternatives that can be built in Bosco. Reiner does not believe that the conquered regions of Stella should be relinquished. Reiner believes that the resources from the conquered regions in Stella could be used as materials.

TRAITS

  • Tolerant: Hildegard is incredibly tolerant of others. Religious and racial minorities will thrive during her regime.
  • Free Thinking: Unbound by strict doctrines, Hildegard encourages everyone to try new things and reason freely about where to take Bosco in the future.
  • Harmonizer: Legislation is what builds up and unites a nation. Hildegard is intent on reducing the hundreds of laws of Bosco to create a more centralized and just set of laws while allowing regions to uphold their own laws.

BACKGROUND

The youngest of the Sachsenwald siblings, Hildegard is born from the union between the belated King Harald and a beautiful Wood Elven warrior. She inherited the determination and wits of her father and understanding of nature and surroundings from her mother. As the only sibling born from another mother, Hildegard often felt out of place as a child. She, therefore, spent a lot of time outside in nature which eventually made her find out that she can communicate with animals and beasts. Wilhelm, who is not close with Cassia and Brunhild at all, strangely does care about Hildegard. What Cassia and Brunhild are missing according to Wilhelm, Hildegard does possess as an heir to the Sachsenwald throne. Hildegard does not care that she and Wilhelm do not see eye to eye on how the nation should be ruled.

THRONE

In the event that Hildegard obtains the throne, Bosco would turn to tribal federalism. Since Bosco consists out of fragmented populations, Hildegard believes that regions within Bosco should be able to govern themselves with their laws. Though, in order to avoid opposing factions warring against each other, the regional governments must adhere to the laws of the central governments. As title, Hildegard would become Chieftain Hildegard. She will keep the conquered regions from Stella and allow them to participate as part of the federal system as well. In order to see representation, Hildegard will allow each region to elect one representative to move to the capital and play an important role in Boscosi politics.
