Wandering the streets of Hosenka, Tiên was starting to realise he had been in this city for a good week or so now, and the more time he spent here, the more he didn't want to leave. The nostalgic feelings he got, when he explored the city, avoiding areas he still did not want to know about just yet unless necessary. He felt calm and at peace, but not knowing how long it'll last, Tiên gradually found himself entering his own delusional world. The longer he stayed in Hosenka, the more he wished that this was a world where he could have his mother and brother as well as Yuko and Seorise. A world where Tiên didn’t have moments of remembering bad things, whenever he saw his scars, or how he remembers how he misses Syn, alot. Glancing over the stalls, and through the shop windows, hearing the multilingual snippets of conversations, the vendors speaking in various languages, that was another thing that Tiên had noticed in his stay, the sheer capacity of the workers knowing different languages, then again Hosenka is apparently a very popular place for tourists, so it made sense now that he had fully processed this point.

A low hum left Tiên as he continued forth along the path, the sun slowly setting behind the city, as the lights of the area he was in gradually began to brighten the more darkened corners, chasing that shadows away that were forming from the lack of sunlight. Sapphire eyes once more appreciating what the city has attempted to do, and how well some areas were, as well as the accuracy of street vendors. “Young one there!” Pausing in front of a stall, Tiên glanced at the pendents before him, before turning to the seller. “May I interest you in some jewelry or trinkets for a partner or a wonderful present for a beauty that would be yourself.” The lady stayed silent as Tiên glanced over what products were on sale. Eventually, Tiên found himself picking up the small trinket, just to debate on whether to get it now, or to buy it later. Deciding not to buy the item he had picked up and examined, Tiên placed it back in it’s rightful place and was about to continue onwards, until he saw a glimmer towards the corner of his gaze. Sapphire blue turned to the shimmering rose quartz crystal sitting on the edge of the stall, thinking it over in his head only to nod silently to the seller, and gesture to the beautiful crystal trinket made from the rose quartz. “Thank you.” Handing over the small amount needed, before taking what he had and placing it carefully in his pocket, just to adjust his sheathed weapon that was thrown over his shoulder.

Tiên began to let his thoughts wonder once more, as he made his way down the street. Gaze glancing over the friends that would be laughing along as they also visited each vendor that lined the paving. It must have been some small minor festival of some kind, which doesn’t surprise him in the least, as Joya was very fond of festivals, and Hosenka was meant to be a representation of said country. Pulling the quartz out of his pocket once more, Tiên eyed the crystal, as it glinted different shades with each multicoloured light that passed by him as he trailed down the path, though he paused when he saw an old game he used to play with his brother and their friends. A classic festival game, and extremely competitive if you loved games like how Yuko and Líng did. Kneeling down in front of the game, Tiên nodded to the owner. “Three tries, if I may?” Gestured for three paper sheets. “As you wish, young man.” Now it was time to see if he was still as good as when he was a child, and politely took the sheets from the man, rolling up the sleeve of his yukata, and poised his hand ready to scoop the fish from the small makeshift pond.

"Now now, Mr. Fluffemz. You can't come with me to the Festival. You have to stay close enough to hear me, but far enough to where you won't scare people." She nodded constantly and petted her cute giant tiger. Mama Judith knew of her whereabouts so that part was okay, but it was only because of her tiger that she let her go. There were many weirdos around that will try stupid things. She knew that enough from her adventures of a pirate after leaving her country. She and Aura had many adventures. Her head tilted up to look at the sky wondering how the kitsune was.

"I hope for your safety, Mrs. Fox lady." She whispered and then looked back at her furry friend. "I must go! I'll call for you later.~" She waved goodbye to everyone and jogged off towards the Festival. There were games there, food, and store vendors that came from all around the world. There was surely going to be beautiful and amazing things there. Her pink eyes gazed towards the direction as she kept on her bamboo that covered her lips/mouth. She did not want people to see her demonized look. Her teeth reminded people of demons, vampires, and things that humans stayed away from. It made her sad.

She wore her pink Yukata with a white and red sash. Her purple-black hair stayed down with it looped on top in a rather traditional way, as it was shiny and sleek. She reached for her pocket with a pouch of money to see how much her mama gave her. "One. Two. Many. Just enough.~" She happily muffled through her bamboo piece. Her eyes wandered to see where she should start but noticed some fishies. She jogged and looked at the fishes. A man came and played it while her eyes watched, ''Fishy, fishy, fish. Oh, will you grant my wish? If not, I shall ask; where is my dishy, dishy, dish.~" She muffled sweetly as her eyes sparkled with excitement.

As he prepared to scoop up the first fish, realising a soft exhale, only to successfully catch it, sighing whilst the vendor placed the fish into a bag for him. The small silver fish with the golden speck on the top of it's head, before moving onto the next scoop, he still had the skills but it has been a while since he went to a festival so maybe he was rusty. As he went to scoop the second fish, his thoughts wondered a little too whether his brother and his friends still enjoyed festivals, even with two of the mischievous five, were gone from their little town.

Snapping out of his thoughts when the fish broke through the scoop, Tiên's lips twitched down slightly just for the vendor to chuckle softly at him, “You still got another attempt there kiddo.” he then turned to the girl who had appeared. “Hello little Miss. Would you like to try?” Sapphire blue eyes glanced towards the girl, and blinked before nodding his head as a small greeting, though when he saw the excitement in the gem coloured eyes, a colour just a smidge darker than the trinket he purchased not that long ago. He didn't know when she had arrived at this stand, but she was cute, and from her little hum about the fishes, or well what he had picked up due to it being muffled, Tiên turned his head back towards the last paper scoop he had in his hand, wondering if she wanted to try herself or not. Keeping a somewhat neutral look on his face, well he hoped he was despite the nostalgic feeling building up inside of him.

“Would you like to have the last one?” Pausing to glance at the vendor, as he stood up. “Can I give the last try to her?” Taking the silver fish from the man, he shrugged at the question “It's your paper scoop, do as you wish kid.” Tiên nodded as the man let out a small laugh and gestured to the girl once his hands were free, and with that Tiên handed the last scoop to the girl. “Here. Why don't you try to catch one? It's a fun pass time.” He didn't know the girl and usually Tiên wouldn't give up a scoop for a game that used to be a tradition for Syn and himself, but he figured it would be okay. It wasn't like anything bad was going to happen this one time, plus this girl seemed innocent enough not to harm anyone, but that was just Tiên's thoughts and opinions.

Suki watched the fish swim around innocently. What happens to all the fishes once this place was done? Once people caught them. Do they go back to the wild or just let them... No, she can't think about that. Not her mind where she must keep pure thoughts. The game tender talked to the man and then to her if she wanted to play. Her money was very valuable and only had so much so she felt like only watching. Her head shook into a no and thankfully she got to try anyways. The guy who was playing offered for her to play one.

Her head nodded. How did they play this again? Her eyes traced the fishes and only had one scoop thing-a-ma-jig. It was a weird game. Her eyes squinted as she scooped a fish up simply. Totally wasn't using any magic of the sorts. No one could tell since the wind came naturally. She passed the fish on towards the man who was kind enough to let her play.

"Ni..."

"Ni..."

"Nippah!~" She spoke happily with her eyes sparkling with a happy motion. What did they do next? Were they to keep the fish? She did not want it to die. "Fishy gets to stay alive?" she wondered innocently while tilting her head. Her pink big eyes gazing into the man's. It was hypnotic as the guy slowly nodded. "You can have it. Here you go Kiddo." He put the fish in a safety bag with water. Her head turned towards the guy. "Are you here alone?" She wondered in her sweet feminine voice.

Tiên silently watched the younger girl as she kindly received his offer on playing his last scoop of the game. He stood there quietly as he looked at the silver fish in the safety bag he was holding. What was he meant to do with the fish? Usually he would hand them over to Syn because he loved keeping them as pets despite the longevity of these fishes, but Syn was no longer around and now Tiên had a fish. Sapphire eyes glanced towards the girl as she caught her own fish and beamed on her win. A small quiet chuckle left Tiên at the site, before bowing his head to the vendor whilst he bagged up the girl's fish friend.

He wanted to explore the festival some more before returning back to his hotel, though the warrior paused when the soft feminine voice spoke out to him directly. Gaze turning back towards her eyes widening a little in slight shock, only for his expression to fall into a calm one and a single nod of his head confirming what was asked of him. "Oh… Yeah, I am…" Rubbing his neck, as he glanced around the festival wondering if the girl was with anyone here too, before deciding to ask directly anyway. "You… Alone as well?"

If she was alone, Tiên would maybe continue to explore the festival with her, just to make sure nothing happened to her. She was a young and beautiful woman, it wouldn't be right leaving her alone, but then he didn't want to come off creepy either, maybe if he gave his name, it would make it less creepy? He could only try the idea, for it to work. "I... You can call me Xiānlián... Tiên or uh Ren..." Tilting his head a little, some strands of his hair falling over his shoulders, a soft smile on his face. "Would you like to acompany me, for the rest of the festival?"

She looked at the fishy who had beautiful scales like the koi fish at the park. They were blue with a lighter shade of green towards the end. She smiled and motioned her feet with a little dance, but was careful cause the fish cannot handle much quick movement. Her head turned to look at the tall man who was kind enough to let her play one. He seemed to be here alone for some reason. Her eyes wandered and saw everyone not alone so why were they alone? Her eyes sparkled as she had a closed smile behind her bamboo that covered her mouth.

His name was Tien or even Ren, but then that reminded her of Jan who was a big bully. He got mad at her and her tiger friend who just wanted to help. The people at the fish game were gazing at them as if she should go. "L-let's go then.~" She spoke softly in a muffling tune due to her bamboo against her lips. "Where to?" Her heart was skipping oddly enough as her breathing became more difficult than normal. What was this feeling? She ignored it as she saw all the pretty colors around them. Suki did not care at all where they went since she just wanted to enjoy this beautiful thing people called a Parade. For some reason, she felt undeniable comfort with his presense.

Tiên stood there a little shocked, although it didn't show when the girl did a happy kind of jig, probably to not disturb the fish that she was holding which was very understanding. He glanced around wondering where to go next on the festival anyway, maybe some food or no he would go there last. They always went to that section last, just before they would leave to head home. A troubled expression crossed his face for a split second as he tried to figure out what to do, food was nice but he didn't want to go somewhere and find out the girl didn't like the food, he would obviously pay for it, he had always done that for his friends secretly, but now at least he didn't have to keep it a secret from his step father about where all his pocket money went.

"Okay... Uhm we could get food?" Nodding at his choices on where to start, Tiên figured that she could choose what they try first. "May i know your name as well?" Messing with the strap of his weapon, Tiên realised how strange he must look holding the sheathed katana over his shoulder, and whilst waiting for the young lady to figure out things, the teen unravelled the rope before tying it around his waist in a way that had the blade sitting against his lower back and slightly on his left hip. Maybe now it didn't look so strange, but also he could have just had it going across his back.

Turning back to the lady, he subtly pointed towards the stands further down the street. "We can try that direction first... there is quite a bit too see, even for a small festival." A gentle smile lafed his lips, when she relaxed a little. "Just tug my sleeve if you found a place you want to stop at, sound good?" Holding out the draped sleeve of his yukata to the girl to hold, in a polite way so she wouldn't get lost in the crowd around them when they would move from the fish stand.

Suki gazed at the guy who was offering her food. Would Mama Judith get mad if she accepted? This man was kind and so he must be good, right? Her head tilted making her long black-purple hair sleek off and over her right shoulder. Her bright large eyes of pink mirrored his face. He was quite tall and cool looking. "S-Suki, from Blue Pegasus!" She hoped and muffled within her speech as her bamboo covered some of her words. Assuming they'd start walking around, she gazed to see if any food caught her gaze. This guy was interesting to Suki as she was not used to men just giving things for free.

There was always a cost.

Suki nodded to his suggestion to tugging his sleeve. It was true, she did not talk much at all since her muzzle made her words sound a little off. She wondered where she wanted to eat and where Tien wanted to go. She stayed about a few feet away from him so they did not touch at all, but enough distance to grab his sleeve if she needed to. People gazed at them and wondered; were they together? Were they siblings? Festivals were covered with different treats and food so she had a hard time deciding. Truthfully, as long as she was able to eat something sweet, cold, hot, and something spicy, she did not care at all. She was just happy with company.

The girl gave out her name and Tiên nodded quietly, before muttering the name to himself, to get a taste of it as one would. A try of the name. “Suki… mh, it suits you well.” A soft smile laced his lips, not realising he had actually spoken it his true mother tongue, and not Joyan, before blinking and staring at the girl with slightly widened eyes. “Oh… You uhm, are from the pegasus?” That made it a lot easier on Tiên now, knowing that he was talking and hanging with a fellow guildmate, meant he could relax a little more. “I am also a part of that group…” Though he had offered his sleeve for her to hold, Tiên noticed that Suki stayed a relatively modest distance from him, and though he respected that from the girl, he honestly didn’t want her getting lost in the crowd or swooped away, it was strange for him to make it his goal to protect this girl during their time here and he wanted to do it right. With that Tiên slowed down a little in his pace, until they were relatively side by side, only he was a little behind Suki, this way, she was in his line of vision, whether it be direct or his peripheral vision.

Sapphire eyes watched as the girl glanced at everything and anything, a soft chuckle leaving him at the sight before he looked around himself, to see if maybe he could give her some kind of nudge on what to try first. “Do you have a preference on food you like? Sweet? Salty?” Scratching his head, he glanced at the fried squid or octopus, or the stand that sold takoyaki and mitarashi dangos. “You can try anything, it’s okay.” In a way Tiên was very out of his comfort zone on this one, he usually did not do this, and usually kept to himself after what he has been through, Tiên was scared in a way to make friends or anything above that, because he was worried history would repeat itself, or somehow he would mess up, though it doesn’t stop him from wanting to try at least, he just did not know how to execute the actions well enough.

Glancing at the girl, his smile turned a little nervous as he bowed his head a little. “Sorry, Suki... I don’t mean to rush you, I just don’t do this often anymore.” Falling quiet once more, Tiên allowed the girl to take the time she needed to make a decision, no speedy questions or anything of the sort, Suki was going to choose on her own, and not because he wanted her to choose something quickly.

Suki walked alongside Tien who was being a gentleman. Yes, he was indeed one. The guy was from the same guild she was, which to her was not surprising. He was the second or third person she has met from the guild - the other one being Jan. She forgot anyone else from her guild. He wondered if she wanted what sort of taste in the food she wished. What did she want? "All! I like everything. Maybe something where I can pick one of each?" She questioned if there was such a thing around here. Perhaps going to different ones to pick something out will be better.

"Can we go to different places and sit?" She gazed around for a bit. She first saw some cart with funnel cakes and some non-Joyan things called nachos. Slowly, she tugged onto his sleeve and pointed towards it. "How about there first?" She wondered curiously as she saw also some smoothie stand. "Then there for something to drink?" She questioned and gazed up to look into the man's eyes innocently. She heard of him talking about how he isn't used to this or not often at least anymore.  "Do what?" She questioned innocently while her bright pink eyes glistened. If he agreed, they went over to the places she pointed out and ordered some food/drinks while listening to his other answer if he did so.

Tien blinked at the girl before letting out a bemused laugh at her reply about the food. He felt a familiarity with the girls enthusiasm on food, it reminded him of his friends back home even more, so with a small nod he made his way to one of the food stands, bringing Suki along with him. “One of each, it is then.” Humming softly as they headed to the first stand that Suki had pointed to whilst inquiring about where they would be sitting. “Let’s start with this one. Then… Maybe the patch of grass over there?” Pointing at the small patch just a little away from some stands that were surrounded by more lantern lights.

Turning to the merchant, Tien quietly pointed at the small trays of the triangle like chips, with the different sauces over them. “A tray of these please?” Looking at the man behind the stand, as he nodded making a fresh portion, just to turn to Suki when she pointed to the smoothie stand across from where they were. “Okay. We’ll grab a drink next…” Taking the tray with a quiet thank you, Tien handed over the money before passing the tray to his companion, just to hold out his sleeve once again and head towards the smoothie stand.

Pausing when she questioned about the small matter than he apologised for, and his soft smile turned into a nervous smile. “Ah… I haven't hung with someone like this, for a good while… I guess, I’m a little rusty on social etiquette…” Waiting behind the group in front of them, sapphire eyes examined the choices of drinks, noticing a few that sounded vaguely familiar. Humming to himself, Tien tilted his head debating on the smoothie that he wanted himself, though he was very curious to which one Suki would want to try. Glancing around again, he noticed the dango stand and blinked. “We’ll go there next, Suki?” Turning back to Suki, he pointed silently at the dango stand, nostalgic in his eyes. “Those are quite nice, I think you may like them. We’ll sit down after.” Stepping up to the smoothie stand, Tien pointed to the smoothie shown on the menu that he wanted, as he allowed Suki to pick hers as well.

The guy was being rather adorable as he was being more bashful than she was. He was nervous it seemed as she was as well. The two went to the stalls that held the items she required and then ordered. He talked for her in terms of ordering, which kindly she did not mind. Someday she will be as tall as him, or at least taller than she was now. It was hard to look like someone's child when you weren't. Softly she sighed quietly enough for no one to hear. She helped Tien carry things as they walked together towards the small patch that he spoke about.

Plopping she was in a perfect unrealistic spot where there were no insects to bug her and the shade overpowered the sunlight. There they eat together as she first took a drink of her mango-strawberry with pineapple smoothie. Her heart was beating with excitement and blushed with a smile. "This is sooo good!~" She purred and gazed at him, lending him her drink. "You should try it!~". She was hoping he'd like the taste of it since she did. She knew that not everyone will agree or like everything as the other, but who knows. They sat about a foot close from each other. She liked this, she liked this a lot actually.

Tiên looked at the girl next to him, as they made their way over to the patch of grass, he held onto the drinks and food, as she sat herself before sitting down a little away from her but still close, just to give Suki her own personal space, since they were only newly acquainted, though guildmates they still only met today. The smile didn’t leave Tiên’s face at all since meeting the girl, and he was a little shocked, but he knew that everyone would be happy for him, though there was still that little stem of guilt inside of him that cared very much for his Syn. Glancing at the girl again, he found that he liked her eyes, they were beautiful like a precious stone, it was also that train of thought that made Tiên remember the necklace that he had found at one of the stalls, maybe he can give it to her later, to show their friendship? That’s what they all used to do back in Joya.

His sapphire gaze fell onto Suki, as he blinked a little when she offered him some of her drink, even though he had his own drink, a small flush of pink spreaded over the high point of his cheeks, before giving a quick short nod. “I… Uhm, I am glad you like it…” Tiên hadn’t realised he was fiddling with his bracelet on his wrist, until he tucked his hair behind his ear a little, just to quietly take the drink before taking a sip, avoiding eye contact with Suki during those moments. The smoothie had a peculiar taste, and it did not surprise Tiên that it did have, considering what was in said smoothie, but it wasn’t quite for him, he may like sweet things, but Suki’s drink was a little too sweet for him. “It’s a… very unique taste.” A bitter smile laced his lips as he handed her the drink back, “But it isn’t bad… Nice, but maybe not for me.” Chuckling a little, Tiên took a sip of his own drink, before pointing at the nachos he had brought her, and the two dango sticks that were in another take away try. “You can try these first…” He already knew what the dangos taste like, and Tiên could only ever eat just one set, because they were very sweet, yet he did not know what the nachos tasted like, so that was going to be eventful.

Sitting with Suki was nice, and he wanted to learn more about her, because they could be good friends, and Tiên really hoped that would happen, because he felt comfortable around this girl, and it meant he had someone to hang with also. “So… What do you like to do, Suki?” He took one of the dango snacks, "If you don't mind me asking... that is?" Glancing at the girl, he averted his gaze as he tugged one of them off the skewer, covering his mouth as he chewed on the doughy sweet.

She giggled with a bashful smile, taking her drink back to drink it herself. She really did not think about it, but some say that sharing a straw was an indirect kiss. "That's quite alright. Not everyone has to agree.~" she sat down her drink and picked up a chip to swipe up some cheese, jalapenos, and meat within it. Swiftly, she shoved it in her mouth under her bamboo piece. She wondered something though as she gazed downward. Jan spoke of how she should not be afraid of her face in front of Blue Pegasus, but it made her anxious.

"So, tell me about yourself."
She squirmed as she took another drink. "Mmm! Fruit tastes so good, easy to have when blended." she giggled at her own laziness. Her eyes gazed at women who more womanly looking yet they were around the same age if not a year older. She listened to him ask about what she liked to do which to her surprise it seemed genuine as well. "I-I like to design stuffed animals and creatures. Perhaps also becoming strong, but if I had to pick something else then it would be reading." She gazed up into the guy's eyes. "Poetry is soothing to the soul no matter the type." She explained. Her eyes went back to the women and wondered something, a note to keep to herself personally.

Tiên nodded at her understanding, it was good that she did understand that much at least, some people didn’t like to take that into consideration, that people had different acquired tastes, so it was nice that there was at least a few people in the world that did take small things like these into thought. “Ah… Hmm… I guess I like taking walks in woodland areas…” Scratching his cheek, Tiên averted his gaze from the girl, “I also… like flowers…” It was quite non-masculine, to like flowers and he was repeatedly told that when living in Joya, it wasn’t a thing a boy should like, but it reminded him of his parents. He paused allowing Suki to talk about herself as well, a small bubble of warmth built up inside of him as he listened silently. So she also liked books and things, “You would get along with my friends back in Joya, they love books.” A quiet chuckle left him at the thought of the others being excited about having new friends, especially his older brother, despite being the eldest, he was more like the child of the group. “They would love you. Especially Líng-gē.”

Tiên pulled another one of the dango’s off the skewer, he didn’t talk much about his old friends, it hurt a little when he spoke of certain members of that little group, but subtly he watched as Suki ate some of the nachos, curious to what she thought of the new cuisine he didn’t know about. He should probably try that before they all go, the food had him very curious to what it tasted like. Shifting a little to get a bit more comfortable in his spot, Tiên nodded about some smaller hobbies she had. “I like animals… I had a strange habit of trying to talk to them when I was little.” Rubbing his neck in slight embarrassment about that fact in his childhood. His sapphire gaze turned to Suki, noticing that she kept glancing places, and followed her gaze towards the elder women. A small hum leaving him at the scene, before turning back to his companion. “Are you… okay, Suki?”

Peaceful sounds of nature as one looks at flowers, trees, and the wildlife surrounding it. These were simple things Tien seemed to like and enjoy. "I think that's beautiful. Flowers make things smell good and other than instrumental music, it makes people feel peaceful. Unless you have allergies of course.~" she joked and giggled to her own joke. Joya, huh? She did not remember her time there fully, other than her mother and brother who both disappeared.

"T-talking to animals?"
She head tilted while her eyes gazed into his. She was confused, but then realized what he meant. "Oh! That's so cute!~ Did you name them at all? I named mine. I use to feed them when they came to the window while papa was sleeping." Were these really her memories? She had faint memories of her locked in her room. The only company she really had was her twin sister once in a while and the animals that came to her room. Her twin... Her twin... She blinked confused as she does not remember having one.

The side of her head hurt once again as it has been more common recently. Tien was curious if she was okay, probably talking about her watching the women. Her gaze went away from Tien's. "I... It's nothing. Just some silly stuff. Heh." She chuckled half-assed as she gave her the best smile that she could. She turned to take her drink and felt the refreshment. She did not have to feel embarrassed at all, right? Once she put down her drink again she squirmed cutely. "W-well... I was just curious about why I couldn't blossom like a beautiful flower such as they." Her eyes gazed at some women around her age, but their bodies were much womanly shaped and their portions were rather larger. Her body was like a child's as of right now with a height of five feet. Was something within her mentality locking her body to grow?

Tiên let a small smile lace his lips at the young girl's words, it was nice to know that it wasn’t too feminine to like flowers, even though he only liked certain flowers, they were still flowers all in all, and beautiful ones at that. Sipping his drink once more, and nodded when she had questioned the whole animal thing. “Yes, my mother told me that I used to spend hours in the woodlands in my home country, just talking to the animals there. Apparently I befriended them all.” Lowering his head, Tiên furrowed his brows at the sudden remembrance of how he had met all his friends back in Joya. “Líng-gē found it strange, but eventually got used to my strange habits, he eventually backed off.” Humming, Tiên tilted his head, trying to remember any names that he had named the animals back in Sin, and the ones in Joya. He only could remember one or two from Sin, as he was quite young when he lived there. “I remember Ningjia, she was a little ball of fluff… I never found out what kind of species she was, but Ningjia was adorable and very homey. Then there was also Hefen, he was a crane, always staying near the lakes and rivers. I named him Hefen because it means river fragrance.” Tapping his lip, Tiên hummed as he dug his memories for what others there were that he befriended. Not being able to remember much, except one who had led him to Syn. “Ah, there was Yin. Yin was special, but that’s a story I would like to refine from speaking about… If that’s okay.” He turned his gaze to Suki, and smiled apologetically, he didn't want to speak about Yin, because it meant bringing up Syn, and it was still a sore subject for Tiên sometimes to talk about him.

When he noticed her still staring at the other girls, everything clicked in his mind, but wasn't going to mention anything until his assumptions were confirmed by Suki, herself. Trying one of the nachos copying what he had seen Suki do beforehand, Tiên tilted his head at her first answer, before she continued to elaborate on her answer to his concerned question. "I don't see how silly it is to wonder about these things? It is nature right, to be curious." Shrugging, Tiên chuckled softly at that, but not in a mean way, never a mean way. Turning back to the girls, Tiên just shook his head, shifting to sit in front of his companion, and stared at her, shrugging a little, his cheeks dusting over with a little pink, with what he had said next. "I... Uhm, I-I am sure you will blossom beautifully... W-when the time comes, obviously..." Scratching his nose slightly, he glanced away, just to glance at the ruby eyed lady in front of him. "Uh... Not that you aren't beautiful now..." Cringing a little at himself, Tiên sighed and lowered his gaze, this really was not his forte, but he didn't want Suki to feel down or self-conscious about her appearance because she was a pretty girl. Complimenting people isn't something that Tiên does often, so when he does do it, he means it.

Her eyes gazed at him as she listened to his word for word, but sadly she won't even remember most of what he said, mainly the names. Her memory has been very complicated as she does not even remember most of her childhood. She remembers the people besides a few that had a shadow figure. What did it mean she wondered a lot. She felt done eating as her appetite was no longer existing. It was not his fault at all, she just felt like something was missing and her feelings were complicated as well.

"You really think so?"
She spoke with doubt, but a small smile behind her bamboo that contained her habits and hid her lips/teeth from being revealed. Her hand slowly motioned towards her own chest and made squeezing motions. "I once saw a woman do this towards themselves and people to other women. Does it help?" She asked wondrously. Her chest was not revealed as anything else but small so she wondered if perhaps there was a way to grow more womanly. She did not have the patience for this. So far people have seen her as a child. Was that all she was? Like she was to her papa instead of being their growing girl? Her eyes noticed him acting nervous around her and wondered if he felt ashamed for telling her that she was beautiful.

"Am I like a flower? My brother use to tell me that I will blossom someday - before he left." She paused and gazed down at her drink and sipped on it quickly. She was still thirsty even if not hungry. 'I wonder where he is.'. Her eyes looked at him, "Did you wish to go do more things?" she blinked innocently as she slowly started to get up, dusting off her yukata. Her long black hair swayed left and right and remembered that she had a dance to go to in a few moments. "Do you wish to come with me to the Shrine Dance today? I have to do it every day while I'm in Hosenka. I don't mind though." She rambled on cutely in Joyan.

Tiên sat there as he allowed her to gather her thoughts before being questioned, and already feeling awkward as he was, he could only give a small nod, to her first question on the surety in his words. As soon as the second question came along, along with the hand gestures, Tiên had to cover his face, along with not actually being able to give a reply to such a question that he was really not used to answering, if ever answering a question like that before, which he had not. “I-I uh…” Gulping he could feel his face burning as he glanced anywhere but at the girl beside him, “I don’t k-know how to a-answer that…” Still somewhat hiding his face behind one of his hands, as he lowered his gaze, hair slightly covering his face, swallowing all he wanted to say, and dispelling any thoughts he had gathered in those few seconds, he was not going to think like that, not when he had only just met this girl.

Taking a calming breath, Tiên noticed how her mood had slightly dropped once again, and placed his hands in his lap, as he continued to fiddle with his bracelet once more. Despite being embarrassed, he didn't want Suki to feel down, and was trying to think of something to say that would hopefully cheer her up the best he could. Sapphire eyes glancing around as he noticed people heading towards the shrine back the way they came, maybe he could buy her some shaved ice, or another smoothie.

Thinking hard on the problem he currently had, well it was rude to call it a problem as that wasn’t the case, it was just something he was not used to dealing with. Tiên turned back to Suki as she spoke up once more. “If you want to… I don’t mind... “ A gentle smile laced his lips, as she stood up, before rising from his spot himself, dusting off his own yukata, and picking up their rubbish to throw away. Pausing at the invitation, Tiên scratched his neck a little as he thought about his answer carefully, just to give a small nod. “S-sure… If that is definitely okay with you, Suki… I mean… I uh was going to take you to the shrine, to make a wish…” He trailed off in his explanation, before lowering his hand, Tiên also paused and realised that it would also be a nice time to hand over that necklace he grabbed beforehand, but maybe after she did her dance, or before, a good luck charm possibly? That seemed like a reasonable excuse. “Shall we head to the shrine…?” Gesturing towards the pathway before them, Tiên would just give it to her before she had to disappear for the dance.

He seemed nervous for some reason and he hid his face. Was it something she said? She was being a naive young woman as she did not understand the antics of being shy nor embarrassed about questions when it came to a woman's body. She thought it was something normal and a thing that should be talked about at the same time. Her hand was about to reach for his, but something stopped her like a shock of pain went throughout her body, her veins felt as if they wanted to burst with the blood that bumped into her heart. Slowly, her hand rested back into her lap and tilted her head.

She left it alone.

Throughout a small amount of time, he seemed to settle down as he started to talk about the subject of the shrine. Her locked-up little mind kept it simple as she just nodded throughout what he said. After he was finished she clapped her hands together. "I would love for you to go with me, Tien-san." She gave a bashful, closed mouth smile. Her eyes closed within the smile and then opened them up to gaze at him. Her head looked around to make sure no one was really looking and stood up. "Let's go.~" She softly spoke and took the trash to the trashcan as any good person will do.

Once Tien was ready they started to walk towards the Shrine. Her head tilted upward to look up at him. "We can go pray and make a wish before the dance if you wish or after. It does not matter to me." Her head turned to look straight and slowly walked beside him. Once in awhile their hands would brush against each other, but Suki did not really think anything of it. Once she saw the shrine, she went to it and looked at him with her hands holding each other within her sleeves in front of her stomach. "Will you watch me? I don't wish to end our time together." She gave a sweet smile to him.

Tiên nodded, usually it would not be good to double pray, but sometimes Tiên did that at shrines, it was just something that both himself and his brother would do. They would pray for themselves, as well as their mother, who didn’t leave the house, but allowed them to go to the festivals. Slowly felt his ears burn as he walked with Suki towards the shrine, the brush of their hands every other step, he would pray twice, like always. “Mh, we’ll pray before…” Glancing down at the girl, before turning his gaze straight forward so he wouldn’t bump into anyone. “Though... We can do the wishes after you have done your dance?” It would be a nice way to end the festival, a wish. Tiên had a feeling of what his wish would be, but thinking about it would lose its meaning, so he wasn’t going to word it until they would place their wishes on the tree branches.

As they walked, Tiên felt himself daze out, his thoughts jumbling up as he remembered his times at the festivals back in Joya. He fell quiet as he continued to mess around with his bracelet, his sapphire eyes losing their shine a little. Was he betraying Syn by feeling happy around this girl? Would he forgive Tiên if he found out, if he was still here on the same plane of existence as Tiên? Shaking his head a little, Tiên inwardly growled at himself for thinking so badly of Syn like that. Of course the boy would trust and forgive Tiên, because this was a sign of Tiên finally moving on. Even if Syn wouldn’t want Tiên to move on, the warrior knew that Syn would still be happy no matter what decision he made with his life. Quietly inhaling, he shook his head trying to rid the darkening thoughts from him, and tilted his head towards Suki. He definitely did not want to forget this girl, he felt warm around her, and he felt like he could trust her to have his back when he needed her, and vice versa.

When they reached the shrine, Tiên made his way slowly up the steps with Suki, just to pause near the top when the smaller girl quickly rushed up them and stopped waiting for him. Sapphire eyes widened slightly at her words, before he opened his mouth to reply and paused. Yes. He wanted to say that, Tiên gulped. Nodding, as he tried to find his voice, his hands gripping the necklace tighter. “I-I!” Finishing his journey up the steps, inhaling quietly to himself, before carefully taking the girls hand. “I will watch you, Suki-chan.” Sending her a soft smile back, before heading towards the prayer bell. He knew what his wish was, and once he made his prayers, Tiên turned back towards the girl and took her hand once again, setting the necklace into her hand. “F-For you… The colour… It’s just like your eyes…” Trailing off again as he stared down at the rose quartz pendant with the small dragon around it, it was very symbolic in both Joya and Sin, and meant good luck, amongst other things.

Suki did not really pay attention to what her hands were touching such as Tien's hands. It was not because she did not care, but because she did not really feel the meaning of it at the moment. Her mind was fully on the dance that was coming up. She still had to get fully dressed for it. Will it succeed and not end up as a failure? Her eyes lifted to gaze up at Tien and once they finally approached the Shrine she got her answer. She made a smile and nodded, "Good.~" But before she left she felt hands against hers and for the very first time, she felt a shock of warmth go through her veins.

Her heartbeat went fast as she looked at what seemed to be a gift. Her eyes scanned it, the pink orb jewel with the dragon on it. It unknowingly made her smile even larger and held it close to her heart. "I will keep this with me forever. Thank you." She bowed her head as an elder came for her. They went their separate ways temporarily. She was excited now, but she had to calm her nerves down to do the dance perfectly, elegantly and truly be at peace like the meaning to the dance.

"Alright dear, it's time for the spirits to get their dance.~" The old lady spoke happily. After getting her read the curtains opened to reveal the night with the lanterns dimming. Suki stood there like a statue with the bell rod of spiritual peace was held against her small frame. Her eyes were closed and once the music started she opened her eyes and slowly motioned her body. It was like being the wind as she rang the bell stick once every sharp movement. It was super slow, it was not special to those who were not Joyan, but those that were knew the meaning.

She always wondered why she was the shrine maiden of this festival. She surely did look the part, but it did not matter anymore of the reason as she was doing perfectly according to the reactions of Joyans and Sins. Apart of her wanted to look for Tien, but her mind was far from corruption and the dance was all she had in mind. After half an hour she slowly left to meet up with Tien. Once she came downstairs she looked for him but was crowded by fans of both genders.

The dance:

Nodding silently at her words, he appreciated that a lot, as it was something special because Tiên hardly gave gifts to people, and never gave gifts to someone who he had just met. “Mh, I will wait for you.” Bowing his head to the elder who had come to fetch the girl for her dance recital, Tiên waved a little as she headed towards the shrine, staying near the wish tree, as more and more people gathered to watch the dance, and although he wasn’t close to the shrines little stage area, Tiên could still see Suki when she stepped up to dance for the spirits. Even though he was not actually Joyan, he lived there for most of his life, and knew what these dances represented.

Clasping his hands together, Tiên closed his eyes and recited a small prayer that he had always done whenever he wanted the dances. Praying that those in his life who had moved onto the next plain of existence were living freely, and that they would grant his family and those around himself just a little bit of peace and a sense of security as they went on doing their daily deeds. Each ring of the bell, gave Tiên a sense of security, a calm settled in his chest, the anxiety he had felt, and the bad trains of thoughts for wanting to stay with Suki were being brushed away.

‘ You’ll be okay now, Xian-Xian… Protect her well and you’ll both be well. ’

Sapphire eyes blinked as a soft smile soothed his frown, the nostalgic feeling resonating inside his chest, at the sound of the familiar voice in his head. Nodding with the last ring of the bell, Tiên was going to be okay, he just had to protect Suki better than he did with Syn. Raising his head as the dance finally finished, Tiên moved to go and collect Suki as promised, though when he reached the exit for the stage, the Sinese had underestimated how many people wanted to confront the girl.

Frowning, sapphire eyes rolled in exasperation, noticing how Suki was looking for him, Tiên glanced around before slipping out of the crowd and heading round the outside towards the back of the shrine. Once he reached there, Tiên paused as he smiled a little, before calling out to her. “Suki!” Waving a little, though noticing a few of the crowd turned towards him. “The elder wants you quickly~” Hoping this would work, Tiên gestured for her to hurry over, and when she would reach him, Tiên stroked her head gently. “Are you okay, Suki-chan?”

Suki tried to get on her tippy toes as everyone started to crowd around her. She was super short compared to everyone else around her. Darn it all! Her large pink eyes gazed around as she twirled to find Tien. Did he leave without her? Her lips formed into a frown as she started to water. All the voices that were trying to talk to her were muted for her as her mind was just on one voice. Her chest started to squeeze reaaaaaaaal tight as her breathing became heavy. Is this what panicking was like? Why was she panicking? "Nnnn..." She gritted her teeth as she then heard something.

The people started to turn towards someone, making her tilt her head to the side. Her heart jumped as she did with it and ran towards Tien. Quickly without realizing it, she embraced him. "I was scared. All these people surrounded me and I couldn't find you.". She was not used to people surrounding her. Being alone with her papa and her animals was all she remembered as her sister... something about her. She could not remember. As her heart pounded faster she then realized she was embracing the man. She jumped quickly back and gazed away with her face turning pink. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to. I mean you know..." She gulped nervously. She bowed with her arms against her sides, "L-let's go and make a wish now.~" She spoke sweetly and stood back up. After that, they went together towards the wishing shrine. What will she wish for? What was this feeling she was feeling as they stood next to each other? Her eyes cornered to look at him and then straight when she felt he would look back at her. Her hands tightened into a fist as they continued to go...

Tiên nodded at her words before chuckling softly. He had after all promised her that he wouldn’t go anywhere without her today, and hopefully in the near and far future. His sapphire eyes shone with mirth as he set an arm around her shoulder to calm the girl, he wanted Suki to feel calm around him, no stress no angst. Just calm peace. “I had to find a way to you,” Rubbing the back of his head, only for her to bow to him because of her actions. “No no, I-it’s uhm… It’s okay, Suki-chan.” Scratching the bridge of his nose a little, as he lowered his head frowning slightly. “I’m sorry that I let you become scared. I should’ve been quicker.” Nodding once at her suggestion, Tiên stepped in line with the girl, as they made their way back to the wishing tree, with Tiên directing the right way, and avoiding the crowds of people, not wanting them to confront Suki at the moment.

Once they reached the wishing tree, Tiên grabbed two red tags, and handed one to Suki along with a pen. He knew what he wanted, and it was two well known proverbs that were used in his country to wish general luck on ones that were possibly in love. Whether that be what he was feeling for Suki or not was a different story, but Tiên it was better to wish for it now than later. “You only have one wish okay Suki-chan.” Smiling softly at the girl, Tiên began to write his wish on his tag.

‘ 愿得一人心,白首不相离, 执子之手,与子偕老。’

Wish to get a person's heart, white head not one-another apart, grasp your hand, with you grow-old-together.
His wish was generally around commitment, whether it be life longing or not Tiên didn't know, but he hoped that it’s a possibility that may be there eventually. Threading the yellow string through the ringlet of his tag, Tiên soon tied his one to a branch of the tree and turned towards Suki, waiting for her to do the same, before allowing the girl to decide on where they should move on wards to. Back into the festival, or to the same patch of grass beforehand, and talk more. Tiên was going to allow Suki too choose, as he usually would avoid crowded areas in general himself, and just opt in heading home if he wasn’t with a companion that is.

“Where to next Suki-chan?” Holding out his hand for her to take, as he glanced around to the ever growing crowds, Tiên hoped that if they went further from the shrine then maybe the crowds would die down more and hopefully they would be free from anyone who wanted to confront Suki. “You lead the way.” Sending her a gentle smile, he wanted her to feel as comfortable as possible once again, despite the situation from earlier after her dance she had done for the spirits who craved a dance in return of good omens and wish granting.
