Erebus

Erebus threw his recently collected money into a satchel and pushed both hands through his hair. He walked downstairs of the Inn he resides in, getting a good warm breakfast; from here, the Rogue makes off. Starting his way through town, he had stopped to check on the job board. Discovering a high stakes reward to a "Pest Problem' in the forests of Orchidia. With nothing better to do, the young speed-demon decided it might be rewarding to head that way and get some good work in.

Before he could leave however, Erebus would stop in a field, he needed not put up dummies, as they were already there. He began to practice different weaving tactics, using his hand for backhand flips, to kick, and et cetera. When it comes to combat, rogues prioritize skill over brute strength. A rogue would rather make one precise strike, placing it exactly where the attack will hurt the target most, than wear an opponent down with many smaller strikes. They have an almost supernatural knack for avoiding danger, and a few rogues learn magical tricks to supplement their other abilities.

Armed with daggers and a number of dirty tricks, the rogue’s primary focus is damage: tearing foes down one at a time with systematic efficiency. Rogues commonly use a mixture of stealth and mobility to reach positions of advantage, be it a perch away from enemy blades or behind an unsuspecting mage. Deadly and resourceful, rogues can tip the balance of any strategic assault. It was just a matter of hard-work to reach that golden pedigree.

After finishing up his regiment, Erebus left. He started his venture by heading into Central Fiore. It was in moving through Era when Erebus realized something unexpected had sprang from the ashes of a few days ago.

A bounty was on his head, making his travel all-the-most difficult. Thankfully, Rogues were supernatural stealth hunters. Erebus simply kept his profile low, and moved through the area, like fluid in a sense. The large rocky mountains of Era were perfect for slipping past anybody that would sniff up his trail and look for him. Crocus was a little more challenging however,
with it being the capital, that meant a lot of people were going to be on lookout. So, to skirt this problem, the Rogue merely stayed on the edges of town, the suburbs as he walked on...

Erebus

From outside the suburban community Erebus would dip out, by somersaulting down a steep hill, and lunging off a cliff onto another; for reasons out of his knowledge, the bridge was down so he improvised. The walk brought him to the ocean where a steady pace and quickened stride allowed navigation towards the Port City of Astera. Erebus managed to peddle a ride smuggled under the boat's mast for a few hundred jewels. Simple enough for suffice, rather uncomfortable it was though. The Azure Seas outside are usually calm, do the ride shouldn't be too difficult, but it did upset the natal rogue that he could view the horizon in peace as he'd wish, because of a growing reputation it would seem, as a thief.

After riding the boat a few hours through discomfort and dreams, he arrived. To what was plaguing Erebus? Popularity, he was failing to keep heat off his shoulders, he was becoming infamous. You could bet he was going to be hunted sooner or later, fuck it then, he would think to himself. Let me do my damage before they come my way. I'll have some fun.. Yes, the young knife-man would learn to live for himself in this epiphanies. While his morals kept him from disastrous shame, he could face being a bandit. If that is what people wanted to believe, fine, in reality... Erebus was a vigilante, a vindicator, a protector. He'd stand his ground when the time came.

From Astera, it was a clear route scathing Baska's edge and heading around Oak to the mountains of Sieghardt. Erebus peddled a ride aboard a traveling band of bards to get safe passage out of the area. From here he pressed into the Forests and realized his safe travel had been successful.
