PouchIt's weird. Not that long ago Vali was almost an entirely different person. He was on the brink of transforming into a better man for himself, for his child and for everyone he cared about. It was probably safe to say that he was disgusted with himself. Not only did he fail at completing his mission, but he had also been embarrassed at the grand magic games. The Vikings didn't hold it against him, they knew that Vali was strong but he held it against himself. With a sigh, he sat on his wyvern. She seemed to be sad as well as if she could feel her leader's pain. Fiore had been nothing but losses. He lost his friends, his mother, a piece of himself, and now his pride. All he had was his son, and even then it seemed like Hasani would be better off without him. Imagine having the worst Viking King in history as a father.
Astera was no place for the Viking lord to be. He had been here for far too long. The ocean was no longer as beautiful as before, the seagulls in the morning only agitated him, and he felt claustrophobic with the buildings of the city so close together. He hadn't paid much attention to them before. His breath reeked of Booze- a lot of it. The young father could barely focus on what was ahead of him. The wind felt good though. As his steed soared through the night sky, he felt free. For the first time in months he felt alive. Where was he going you ask? Well, Seighart seemed fitting for a moment like this. He missed home, mostly because it reminded him of his life before Fiore and Seighart resembled those memories. Who knows? Maybe he'd jump off a cliff and end it all.
