It seems news of Szeth's recent exploits underneath the church had spread. It had only been a couple of days before he was approached with a new offer at the same tavern he had been spending most of his nights. He had been sat at the bar sipping a drink before a man stepped through the tavern doors. It appeared that this man held some weight in this town, as the tavern quickly grew silent and all of the customers either turned around or looked at the ground. This man immediately made eye contact with Szeth and made a bee line for him. Szeth stubbed out his cigarette and raised his head to the man.

"Can I help you?"

The man raised an eyebrow, as if he wasn't used to being spoken to in this tone. It was more surprise than anger, Szeth gathered.

"A little bird told me that you may or may not be willing to get your hands dirty."

Szeth wasn't too keen on this reputation. However money was money.

"For the right price"

The man cracked a smile, turned around and began walking before replying.

"Follow me and I'll make it worth your while."

Szeth did not hesitate to follow. He took no enjoyment in committing acts that others would frown upon, however he was a firm believer in the ends justifying the means. As long as this work wasn't something dishonorable, like harming women or children, he would be able to stomach it as long as there was a bag of money at the end. The strange man continued to walk with his back to Szeth before speaking again.

"Don't worry. I wont ask you to do nothing too crazy. Small scuffle broke out. Couple people died. We just need someone to help us out with clean up. You up for it?"

Szeth and the strange man walked for a ways before coming to a building that at first glance seemed derelict, but upon further inspection it became clear that it was the opposite. The building was under construction. There were few workers scattered around the outside, however they didn't seem to be as busy as maybe they should be. The man spoke calmly.

"Lunch time boys."

The workers quickly dispersed and now only Szeth and the strange man, who had revealed his name to be Remy, were left. Remy spoke once more, this time only to Szeth.

"Like I mentioned. Small scuffle happened inside. Couple casualties. You and me are gonna clean it up and get out of here before anyone comes looking that shouldn't. Sound good?"

Szeth nodded.

The two men headed inside where a bunch of bodies lay lifeless. Some small scuffle. Regardless, the rolls had been set out. All Szeth needed to do was bring the bodies over to Remy so that he could chop them up into smaller pieces, so that they were easier to dispose of. Szeth walked over to the first body and grabbed it by a foot, dragging the corpse over to where Remy awaited with a shiny axe and a bag. Szeth was glad he was on delivery duty and not chopping. One by one he dragged lifeless body after lifeless body to Remy, where he efficiently dismembered them and placed them in his bag. One particular corpse that Szeth dragged over prompted a little bit of an emotional response from Remy. Apparently he was one of his associates, and such was not to be dismembered. Two more corpses elicited the same reaction. After a while, the dirty work was done and Szeth was handed a large bag of cash. He was glad that this dirty work was done and left to retire for the night.
