Masami
[1]

Despite Marigold's beautiful scenery and architecture, many carpenters and workers are astonishingly idly. It was unexpected for Masami to see all these workers lying around without a job to execute. The need for a leader was no joke. Masami had his respect for Marigold City high up ever since the start, ever since he first came here. Howbeit, though he had been aware of the things that had been coming out of his mouth, he asked, "What is this?" without his consent.

The people paid attention to him, though; those who were sitting and lying immediately stood up, and the ones chatting had turned their direction unto Masami. The boy coughed, preparing the words he was about to speak. "Because of Lord Fernando's orders, I will be the one to take charge in the projects. My name is Kita, Masami. Though I may be a visitor, I have experiences in leading projects such as these. I hope to get along with all of you." he bowed right after, then immediately stood back up and gave a smile.

The expected part of these were the men who looked away, looking flustered. Masami chuckled at this, knowing that most of them or perhaps everyone, had believed that Masami was a female. He had no objections to this; he wouldn't like being too masculine either. "I am stronger than you think," he mentioned, "so please do not stop me from lifting heavy objects." Although he looked very feminine, Masami, ever since, did not like taking advantage of this. As a man, he wanted to prove that he has a masculine side as well. It's been a while since he has lifted workload, so he has been hoping not to create a scene that would cause his humiliation.

But perhaps he could cover such humiliation with an excuse.

Masami first looked at the blueprint designs with the architect as the other workers continued their work. "Hey! Stand up, I can see you right there there!" he pointed at an idling worker, the one holding a hammer and leaning against the wall. Masami saw him idling a few minutes before, but because he did not sense a change of presence, he pointed at the worker without really looking behind him. The worker was startled, then he left pretending that nothing happened.

He knew that he did not understood exactly the measurements that were written, but he pretended to know and nodded. Later on, he'd be passing wood planks instead, until some of the workers would snatch away the planks Masami was about to lift for the passsing. All the workers started to work without stopping. "It doesn't look like I'm really needed here..." Masami chuckled to himself when he looked at the main structure of the construction, seeing each and everyone work and that none of them were idling. Perhaps they had to work because they were in front of a visitor... or perhaps to impress her.

To become a little more useful, Masami picked up two paper fans from his dress pockets and started waving them in the air. "Go! Go! Construct, reconstruct, abstract... uh, disorderly conduct!" he was brightly cheering so that later, he could tell everyone that he helped. Even though he knew to himself that he did not help as much in Masami's standards, at least the cheering would tell everyone that he has been supporting them. The workload in the theaters were so awful that each and every one had two or more roles, Marigold was more... more peaceful.

"Thank you very much!" with another cheer, he picked up the rewards from the knights. It took them a few hours, the sun was already setting. "I did a lot today, send my regards to the king!" Though it looked like the knights did not clearly hear what he said, Masami was too tired to repeat his own words. His simple cheering became a small performance and that few people started to gather 'round. He danced 'till it was almost dusk, and it was time for him to go home. From afar, he could hear loud words about how beautiful Ms. Kita was, and that they did not have a chance to ask her for a date. Hearing this, Masami cringed and started to walk back faster.
