GUILD





Sentinel Syndicate is an unaffiliated but recognized tight-knit organization operating from the Worth Woodsea. Its creation stemming from its leader's view of peace through diplomacy rather than power having fought in two wars both for control of the country. As force is preferably avoided backroom dealings are common, with its members are reported to hand out bribes. Blackmail is another commonly used tool in the guilds arsenal bending high ranking members of society to their will. When neither are options, the Syndicate may resort to more extreme measures removing the problem individual from the picture entirely. Due to how they operate it has been seen as a dark guild while its leader sees the actions being done for good.

Ultimately the group does not seek to conquer rather ensure prosperity even through illicit means. Preferring to see their holdings grow over time rather than expand they opt to form alliances rather than overextend their control. When acting on behalf of the guild, members will typically wear tailored suits and business attire featuring their guild symbols on their lapels.


REGULATIONS





  • The user may not take any Good Quests.

  • The user can only recruit additional members with the consent of the leader or a founding member.

  • The user must never reveal sensitive information about The Syndicate to others for as long as they live.

  • The user may not maim, murder or steal from other members of the guild. Rivalry is fine, but should they forsake the entirety of the guild for their selfish desires, consequences are in place.



BUILDING





The Syndicate's base of operations is the ancient floating island of Buntai, which that hovers over Orchidia town hidden within low-hanging clouds. The discovery of the mysterious construct was made by accident by a surveyor hiking through the Worth Woodsea. Later being moved to Orchidia town manually by the future guild leader of the Syndicate.

Its structures are made from the marble mined out of the island itself, with them being created centuries ago. The ground level is purely grassy flats, the first floor from this grassland holds the halls where members may consume their meals. The second floor has the majority of the guilds structures including the embassy where diplomats may interact with guild master or a representative, the library which overhangs, the guild building itself concealed by an encompassing wall and a series of bridging towers which is dominated by a vast sculpture of long forgotten hero.


MASTER





Konstantin is a highly recognized, orderly individual who carries burden of countless lives on his shoulders, fighting in the war against the Order. His past shaping him into the man he is today, haunted by the actions and decisions he has made. As a means to redeem his mistakes he created the guild after becoming recluse and finding their future headquarters in Worth Woodsea. His goal was and remains to this day to achieve the best for his people. Using his knowledge as a warrior and a former noble from Bosco, Kon was able to develop the Syndicate.


TITLES



  • Diplomat: User is capable of using Thought Projection. This spell do not take up the slots of the user.

  • Spymaster: User is capable of using Invisibility. This spell do not take up the slots of the user.

  • Enforcer: User is capable of using Endurance. This spell do not take up the slots of the user.

  • Overseer: User is capable of using Telepathy. This spell do not take up the slots of the user.

Duration: Sustain
Effect: The user closes their eyes and enters a meditative state in which they disconnect themselves from the world around them. The user then creates and conjures a projection of themselves elsewhere in the world, where they are capable of hearing, sight, and speech only. They cannot physically interact with the world around them, meaning they cannot attack or cast spells, nor can they be attacked. For the projection to succeed it must be somewhere they have either been before or someplace someone close to the user is present. Each turn of posting in the topic decreases mana.

Effect: The user places their hand on their chest turning completely invisible to the naked eye along with any object they possess. While this spell is being cast a magic seal will appear underneath the user before immediately thereafter disappearing. The user is coated in a shimmering light that bends like light making it impossible for others to see them without modifiers.

Effect: The user may freeze in position allowing them to remain standing and ignore any damage they receive. If they move voluntarily all of the damage is applied to them but also reflected back outward as an AoE equal to the size of the damage received.

Effect: The user holds their index and middle finger on the temple of their head allowing them to talk to everyone in the topic regardless of the distance. This can be isolated to a single individual, the user may use this to talk to an ally, an enemy, even someone they have just seen. The user must know of their presence within the topic either by visually seeing them or hearing them speak initially.

  • Floating Island: The user may access and roleplay on the Floating Island.

Level 1:

  • Shop Discount: The user gets a 5% discount in the shop on magics and items.
  • Amicable Adventurers: The user gets a 10% wordcount reduction on quests.

Level 2:

  • Shop Discount: The user gets a 10% discount in the shop on magics and items.
  • Potion Purchase: The user is allowed to purchase an extra statistic, mana or experience potion per month.
  • Tax Collector: The user gets 10% extra jewels from Land and Region Taxes.

Level 3:

  • Shop Discount: The user gets a 15% discount in the shop on magics and items.
  • Amicable Adventurers: The user gets a 20% wordcount reduction on quests.

Level 4:

  • Secured Land: The user may sway invaders from taking their held locations once per month through diplomacy.

Level 5:

  • Members may independently work on behalf of other guilds as long as it benefits the guild and they don't reveal their allegiance to the Syndicate unless approved by the Guild Master. Working for other guilds can be done both freely or even for a monthly salary depending on the tasks the members undertake.

Its structures are made from the marble mined out of the island itself, with them being created centuries ago.

The ground level is purely grassy flats, the first floor from this grassland holds the halls where members may consume their meals. The second floor has the majority of the guilds structures including the embassy where diplomats may interact with guild master or a representative, the library which overhangs, the guild building itself concealed by an encompassing wall and a series of bridging towers which is dominated by a vast sculpture of long-forgotten hero. While the island is capable of floating in the event of combat via invasion or other events, it will land offering no benefit to the guild.
