Yumi hummed to herself as she stood on a small cliff face once again overlooking the Sieghart Mountains. It was a rather uneventful day if you consider burning a deranged werewolf alive as uneventful. A villager called Cameron had come to her bloody and bleeding asking her to take out some werewolf that had broken away from his pack, going rogue, and was attacking the villagers in the area. The werewolf had come to Cameron's village and had begun its massacre. The man had come to Yumi as he had found out just who she was. Rumours of Yumi's arrival in the mountains had spread to the villages. Her reputation had become known so Cameron sought her out, believing she could handle his werewolf problem, and she had. Yumi had arrived after flying towards the village and landed right in front of the beast. The stupid creature thought he could ravage her body and devour her flesh, but in a single move Yumi had burned him alive. One spell had been cast upon the werewolf and set him ablaze in glorious crimson red flames.

The werewolf hadn't been very strong, dying with only a cast of a single spell. Yumi may have cast her strongest spell but she hadn't expected the werewolf to be so weak as to dye instantly by it. He had seriously disappointed her, perhaps she should go looking for the pack he had once been part of and see if they could offer her a better fight. However as fate had it, Yumi may get her chance. Panting drew her attention as a young girl barely six came running up towards her. The girl had brown hair with dirt on her cheeks, red eyes and wore a brown dress made of furs. The lolita couldn't help but raise a curious eyebrow as the little girl approached.

"Ah Miss Witch, Mr Cameron is looking for you. Another werewolf showed up and wants to speak with you." The little girl said between pants. It seemed she had sprinted all the way over from her village to this cliff face to seek out the demoness.

Raising an eyebrow Yumi stood up and sprouted a pair of wings from her backs. A long-tail grew from her tailbone and coiled around the waist of the little girl and lifted her up. Without a word Yumi took off, carrying the little girl with her as she flew towards the village to find out what this werewolf wanted. Was he perhaps here to get revenge for his fallen brother? Yumi secretly hoped so, the chances were high. If he was she wouldn't hesitate to kill him in a single blow as she had done with the last fool. As she flew the little girl clutched onto Yumi for dear life, tears forming in her eyes while trying not to look at the ground.  

Yumi paid no mind to the girl as she flew in the direction of the village. Within minutes she could soon see it up ahead. Lowering her altitude, Yumi descended and landed. Heel boots touched dirt as Yumi landed softly and proceeded to drop the little girl. The little girl fell on her ass with a yelp. She moaned in pain and stood up to pat the dust away before turning to escort Yumi to Cameron.

Yumi walked through the smell village escorted by the little girl towards a large cabin that had been set up. The little girl explained that the big werewolf was meeting with Cameron and the Village elder in the elder's house but he also wanted to meet the person who defeated the rogue werewolf. Stopping at the door of the house the little girl knocked politely and announced Yumi's arrival saying miss witch had arrived. A gentle old woman's voice answered and opened the door revealing an old woman in her late seventies, the elder's wife no doubt. The old woman welcomed Yumi into her home and showed her into the lounge room.

Inside Yumi found Cameron in new clothing with bandages over his face and arm, with more underneath his shirt no doubt, sitting on one side. On another was an elderly man in his eighties with grey hair and big eyebrows. From them was a large two meters tall dark blue werewolf with tufts of white fur around his neck. Yumi eyed the group as she approached, she couldn't sense any hostility.

"If you're here to rip my throat out in revenge, let's get it over with. I don't enjoy waiting." Yumi remarked as a hand went to her axe, only for the werewolf to raise his hands up in surrender.

"Fierce demoness, I have not come to fight you. I know if I tried it would only end in my death and suffering at your hands. Even from here while your power is sealed I can still feel it and it fills me with dread." The werewolf spoke calmly and clearly it seemed he was not here for revenge as Yumi had so thought. Taking a seat with the group the werewolf began to speak.

"I have actually come for your help. My name is Ahack I was recently the alpha of the pack close to this area. With my strength, I kept them in check and prevented my kin from attacking the villages. However, my older brother Amarok, wanted to rule the pack so he challenged me for the rite to lead. I would have won but he cheated and took my spot before kicking me out. He seeks to lead the other werewolves to ravage this village and those near it. My brother is under the belief that humans are only food. He is foolish to attack, there are stronger humans out there who will slaughter not just him but my entire pack. As someone who has killed a wolf in combat, you have gained the right to speak to and challenge the pack leader. I hope you can defeat my brother and allow me to take control of the pack once more." The werewolf spoke honestly.

Yumi snorted in amusement, "I don't care much for mortals either nor for your affairs, but if money is involved I will lend a hand." The demoness said without a care, after all, why should she care for the lives of pitiful mortals and puppies.

"If you can resolve the werewolf problem the Village Elder will pay you handsomely." Cameron piped in getting a nod from the elder. With a sigh Yumi accepted the job.
