Shimura Shigaraki †
It was another day within the disturbingly peaceful and quiet city of Era. Honestly, in his opinion patrolling Era was perhaps one of the most boring cities to patrol in for a Rune-Knight. This was mainly because of the presences of the Rune-Knights headquarters. Only idiots and fools would dare try to commit a crime within Era, they’d easily be caught and overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of Knights within Era. Shimura planned to leave town as soon as he made enough jewels to travel comfortable. Outside Era was where it was exciting and where he could make a name for himself. Anyway, Shimura was out and about in the city, exploring and patrolling the area looking for some trouble to correct. Or perhaps a quest for him to preform, whatever the case, he was simply looking for something to do. He figured that the city itself was safe as can be, for that reason, Shimura decided to explore the outskirts of the town. Maybe there would be some bumbling fool or desperate damsel who’d need help from a rune-knight. Who knows, maybe Shimura would make some sort of connection with an important person or get a fancy reward. He shrugged.

As he made his way out of the city, Shimura started to roam around the outskirts. He didn’t stray to far away from the main road, mostly because he feared he couldn’t find his way back. Though he did stray closer to the forest’s edge, where he found an eccentric man seemingly in mid panic, Shimura figured that this man was in need an approached him. The man was older with a long beard and mustache, and he wore blue robes and a pointed blue hat. He honestly looked like a stereotypical wizard that you would see in children’s tales. That was a little frustrating to Shimura for some reason, being so basic, ugh.

“OH OH OH, you there kind sir do you think you could help me?” the old man asked and eagerly stroked his beard, Shimura cocked an eyebrow and nodded in agreement. “Oh good, Oh good! Some goblins have stolen unique gems that I have and I really need them back! Do you think you can get them for me?!” the old man asked, practically begging Shimura for help. “Yea I can help, where did they take them?” the old man seemed to smile brightly, “in the forest, in the forest! Thank you thank you!”

When the old man explained where exactly he was robbed, Shimura simply nodded and went off in the woods. Shimura managed to find some tracks which were mostly small feet, he reasoned that those small footprints belonged to the Goblins and followed them. Sure, enough after dashing through the woods, dunking under low tree branches, and cross a small stream Shimura found five goblins camping in front of a fire. They reminded him of Tengu, a Joyan creature that resembled goblins in many ways. Shimura approached the group and cleared his throat. He decided that he would handle things diplomatically, as he didn’t want to burn the forest down and get in trouble in the process.
"You five hand over the gems that you stole or else there will be dire consequences." Shimura threaten as he came out from the bush that he was hiding in, the five goblins turned to face him and scoffed.

"What are you going to do to us eh? There are five of us, and only one of you. Plus these are our gems and we stolen them fair and square." One of the goblins stood up, crossed his arms, and stepped towards Shimura menacingly. The others stood up as well, and crowded behind their leader. Needless to say, Shimura was not impressed with this act of defiance and simply groaned in annoyance. He clenched his fist ready to strike a goblin if one of them got too close, "Because if you do not return those gems to me, I and my comrades hidden around me, will utterly destroy you five." he took a step forward, "And then we will find your little home with your kin, and exterminate them all like rodents." Shimura threatened and took a step forward. "Even if you managed to beat me, word will get out what you have done to a rune-knight, and an extermination event will still take place."

The goblins went quiet for a moment, seemingly considering all options that they had. "Fine, fine, we will give you the gems back but you must leave our kin alone, understood?" Shimura nodded and took the gems away from them, and then he went back to give them back to the mage.
