Overall: Amaris’ physique is a reflection of her werewolf identity–strong muscles in a feminine, sensual frame, slightly taller than the average female. Her features are sharp and she has high cheekbones. Golden eyes–weary beyond her years–are framed by long lashes and the full, wine-red lips are Amaris’ trademark. Amaris hair is thick and lustrous, a unique shade of purple and often worn open or tied up in a ponytail. Her complexion is pale, almost porcelaine like, and the faint, pleasant scent of lavender clings to her skin.  

Amaris carries herself with elegance and precision–each movement is controlled and adds to her overall hauntingly beautiful aura.

Extra: Amaris’ skin is graced by fainted, old scars. A result of ‘training’ and the hunt  – not uncommon for a werewolf. Her earlobes are pierced, two holes on each side, alongside her tongue (although she does not always wear a tongue piercing) and a piercing through her belly button. Amaris has two tattoos: one on the left side of her stomach – a heart with little devil horns – and another one, the number XIII, on the back of her neck.


Personality:  Amaris is charismatic, perceptive, sophisticated and cynical. The idea that a woman as poised as her could be afraid of anything is comical, and such the female werewolf steadily maintains an image of self confidence and strength. Amaris keeps a keen eye on her surroundings and her company at all times and never lets her guard down. She is certainly intelligent, but more often than not relies on instincts and senses rather than her mind.

Amaris concerns herself with her own interests and typically disregards anything, or anyone, else. Although the need for companionship is there, Amaris has difficulties admitting to such a thing and often finds herself fighting out the inner conflict that exists between her natural-born werewolf honor and her better judgement. Her alignment is best described as chaotic neutral and Amaris will do anything and everything to keep herself safe and satisfied.

Amaris is hardly a good person, decent at most, but at the same time she only rarely reaches into the well of darker potential that is her primal nature. If anything, she understands that in order to survive, she needs to keep a low profile and pick her fights wisely.

As a werewolf, Amaris’ anger needs to be under control in order to keep her true identity from being revealed and over the years she has worked meticulously on her self-control, which has eventually led to her becoming colder and more composed. Today, Amaris has free reign over her emotions and chooses which parts she is willing to give away, and which parts she keeps hidden.


  • Nighttime: Amaris loves the beauty of the night; the moon and the stars fascinate her. She shows interest in astrology, but mostly seems to enjoy the silence and the darkness. Amaris can often be found wandering the streets of Fiore when the stars are out, reminiscing her childhood days in Minstrel.
  • Jewelry: Amaris adores pretty things. She is a collector and a skilled craftsman with a keen eye for beautiful and high quality gems and diamonds. Occasionally, Amaris designs her own jewelry and sells or gifts it to others.


  • Magic: As a werewolf, Amaris is magically inept. She, or anyone in her family, have never been able to use magic – as such, she is rather sceptical of sorcery. Amaris, generally speaking, avoids magic users as she does not want to get involved or affected by something she does not understand.
  • Heat: Amaris prefers the cold and feels uncomfortable in hot weather. She doesn’t freeze easily, perhaps due to her wolf blood, and avoids staying in hot countries or states over a longer time.


  • Family: Companionship, whether by blood or not, means a lot to Amaris. The family she grew up with taught her the necessity of a pack and since their death she has been searching for someone to replace what she has lost. She is fiercely loyal to those who have earned her trust.


  • Death: Amaris’ fear of death is, perhaps, her most human trait. There’s always more to do, more to see and she cannot stand the thought of losing everything there could have been – a future. This fear is the reason for her strong survival instinct.
  • Captivity: If there’s anything Amaris fears more than death itself, it’s the idea of losing her freedom to someone or something and being held captive and restrained. Because of this, Amaris keeps her werewolf identity a careful secret – after all, the church of Illumin holds a strong presence in both her homeland and Fiore.

Amaris was born to Dianthe and Rowan Ashryver–the offsprings of an ancient werewolf bloodline, in the capital of Minstrel. Amaris’ childhood was almost normal considering her race and even though both her parents lived their lives adapted to human standards, Amaris was never spared any lectures, history lessons and teachings regarding their heritage and such. Dianthe and Rowan fully embraced being natural-born killers and would hunt their prey at night only to live among them during the day. Amaris was taught similar values, such as to never defy who she truly was and to understand the importance of a pack, a family.

Werewolves were uncommon where they lived, rare even and other than her parents, Amaris was only able to meet very few during her youth in Minstrel. When Amaris grew older, her mother Dianthe taught her the fine craftsmanship with jewelry and gems, a hobby which would later become her profession.

Although the the Church of Illumin always had a strong presence in Minstrel–among other countries of the continent–Amaris’ parents made the mistake of underestimating the power of religion. When Amaris was only a few years shy of growing into womanhood, their identity as werewolves was uncovered by the church and they were ambushed during a nightly hunt, which eventually led to both Amaris’ parents along a few other members of their small pack losing their lives, with Amaris being the only surviving member.

Amaris fled the city, and eventually the country and spent four years in Desierto, one of the neighbouring countries. Although Desierto, being hardly more than a desert in the woman’s eyes, was the least ideal place for her to live, she wanted to get as far away from the Church of Illumin as possible and so she decided to stay.

Amaris’ every step was overshadowed by tremendous misfortune. Without a pack and still grief-stricken by what had happened to her family, the woman fell into the trap of a slave trader, not realizing that the country she had fled into in order to seek shelter, still actively participated in human trafficking and slavery.

During those years, Amaris matured into a woman. She kept her race hidden and her eyes keen on survival and eventually managed to escape. This time around, her journey led her to Fiore, a smaller country across the sea from Minstrel (where slavery was illegal), and she decided to start another attempt at starting life over again.
