Esperia nodded her head eagerly, a smile plastered on her face at Baldo's heartily declaration. It was quite obvious that out of the two of them Esperia was much more open about showing her affection, and all the more eager to reveal just how blessed she was to have a lover like Fia. "Mhmm! Fireworks~" Esperia declared in approval at the idea, clearly pleased. Fireworks were quite a lot like dawn in a way, the sight of the sudden lights illuminating the sky reminded her of the time the sun first rose at the start of the day, and considering her fondness for that time of the day, it was understandable that she would also like fireworks a lot.

Of course, sitting on a bench next to her lover, snuggling close to her as they both watched the fireworks happen was obviously one scene she wouldn't want to miss at the festival. And so the group departed to the outskirts of the nearby lake, a large open area where everyone would be able to watch the fireworks in their full glory. Fortunately, they had arrived on time to have enough spots available, and yet, as they started to dim the light from the lanterns and the area became shrouded in darkness Fia would no doubt feel the smaller hands of the girl wrap around her arm, snuggling closer against her while her gaze excitedly looked up at the sky, waiting for the fireworks to begin. She truly couldn't wait for the beautiful sight to begin, but for her the most beautiful firework in her life had already manifested, a firework that would continue to illuminate her life till the end of their days.

With all of them in firm agreement, the group set off toward the area where the fireworks would be best viewed. A large, open space with sparse seating about, most people choosing to lay down picnic blankets and sit at the lake's edge as they awaited the fireworks. Fortunately, however, they were early enough to snag one of the few benches that lay about the area, allowing the group to all be seated upon one - with Salem balancing atop, of course.

As the lanterns dimmed, and the fireworks surely approached, Fia found her lover clinging closer to her arm. Smiling softly down at Esperia, Fia pulled her arm free and instead wrapped it around her fiance, pulling her in closer for an even more intimate embrace, as the Titaness turned her own gaze skyward. She was ready to bear witness to whatever beauty came, but really, the most wonderful sight in all the festival was already by her side.

After a short wait, the lanterns dimmed to their lowest, and a large hollow sound from the beating of a drum resounded throughout the area, to signal the beginning of the fireworks. A hush swept over the crowd, before the first shining star shot into the air, it's trajectory straight and true, before exploding into the shimmering light... And it was followed by another, as the spectacle began, made only more beautiful by its reflection against the lake, as almost viewer watched with awe and immutable wonder.

A soft 'Oooh' came from Esperia as the first fireworks started to illuminate the sky, and as if that wasn't enough to please her, she also was able to enjoy the warmth of snuggling close to her fiance. How could she possibly not be cheerful? How could she possibly not be satisfied? What else would she possibly need, when the one who brought her such bliss was right at her side.

"Fia~" The girl whispered softly, her gaze shifting back up at the starlight sky as another barrage of fireworks illuminated the sky.

"No, I think that with us getting married that nickname isn't good enough anymore." the girl pondered for a moment as yet another spectacle lit up the sky. A word that would properly convey her emotions, a name that would express her love for Fia. Something that was cute and yet fitted Fia. It took her a moment to finally decide on a proper nickname, a way to refer to her fiance, and finally, she had found one.

Shuffling a bit closer so that their bodies pressed side by side to each other she whispered in a tender and affectionate manner as her gaze lowered to her lover's face as she said the name she had thought of:

"Darling~"

Beauty and bliss swirled around Fia, as the shining exemplars of wonder lit up the night sky, shattering into falling light that glimmered across the like and in the eyes of all who bore witness to the wondrous sight. And yet, in spite of the powerful and brilliant display right before Fia, the most awe-inspiring thing at the festival was not in the sky above her, but simply, on the bench beside her.

Intoxicated by the awe of the fireworks, Fia couldn't help but find Esperia's soft humming of her name to be music upon her ears. But, as the stared at the starlit spectacle, Esperia suddenly decided that she needed a more fitting nickname for when they were to be wed. Glancing down at her fiance, Fia wondered what nickname her adorable lover might choose.

They shuffled closer together, their bodies producing a warmth rivaling the bursting stars above their heads, as their eyes met and Esperia's sickly sweet tones finally uttered the nickname she had chosen.

Speechless for a moment, Fia soon found her body moving on its own, as she leaned toward Esperia's face to claim a brief and chaste kiss to give all the answer she needed to give on how much she liked the name. A soft and loving smile grew on Fiammetta's face, lit up by the fireworks behind them as the lightshow moved toward its grand finale.

"I love it... I'll happily be yer Darling, Princess."

The starlit sky above, filled with the wonders of fireworks and the most wonderful creation of mankind at her side, how could Esperia not feel like a princess? Of course, she had picked the nickname she had chosen for Fia carefully. There had been a lot of options, but darling felt the most suitable to her. At one hand it was most often used to refer to a husband, and with how Fia often liked to project a tough image it wouldn't have been wrong to consider her the husband, if not for the fact it was the princess who usually wore the pants. However, the word darling by itself was filled with such warmth and adorable affection that it worked perfectly in Esperia's opinion.

Watching as Fia leaned in to give a light and gentle kiss on her lips Esperia found herself closing her eyes, taking in all the bliss she felt from that moment. This was what she had longed for, this warmth and joy just from being at someone's side, to be the most precious person in the entire world to that person, and to remain together forever. There was truly no doubt, that Fiametta Barone was her darling.

Opening her eyes she smiled tenderly as her gaze lifted up at the sky once more, just in time to watch something peculiar happen. Sebastian had just returned from gods know where when a final volley of fireworks lit the sky. However, those ones took a very particular form. Actually there was no doubt about it, for they exploded into the shape of a cartoonish drawing resembling a smooching Esperia and Fia, causing the girl to turn sideways to watch the demon butler bow lightly. "A gift from a certain 'benefactor'" The butler explained calmly yet the amusement was evident in his voice, no doubt part of it being due to the blushing cheeks of his master.

The title of Esperia's 'darling' had been well and truly accepted by Fiammetta, an acknowledgment of not only how dear she was to the lewdling, but perhaps also the Barone lass more masculine traits that so suitable complemented the more feminine nature of the Eisenberg girl. There were no doubts at all that it was entirely perfect nickname, one that Fia rewarded her lover for concocting with a simple kiss.

As she opened her eyes again, she'd soon find that their love had yielded another gift for the pair, well, not exactly a 'gift', given neither of them had really been asking for it. Fia glanced back to the fireworks, only to see the glimmering lights forming a peculiar shape against the starlit sky... One that looked rather similar to Esperia and Fiammetta... Kissing... No, that was definitely them. Fia's jaw dropped, and Sebastian's words confirmed what she'd thought. Her face immediately turned a lovely shade of tomato red as she stared up, wide eyed, at the embarassing firework-constructed picture.

Meanwhile, Baldo, was letting out hearty laughter at the sight, and Salem was chuckling to himself deviously, before glancing to the butler with a devil's grin. "Huehuehue, you can be quite the sly devil, hmm? Pawsitively~"

The way the stars were lit with that firework at brought her boy joy and embarrassment, Esperia couldn't help but find herself both smiling and blush intensely while hearing Baldo's hearty laughter. Of course, Salem couldn't resist the chance to provide a comment of his own, leading the butler to hum softly. "I'll take that as a compliment~" Indeed, even if she was flustered, the demonic butler could see the joy radiating from her. He also knew that this wouldn't be the end of the surprises, for something was just counting down to happen.

With a sudden shift of her body Esperia straddled her lover's waist, not only did the act of leaning in provide such a sweet sensation of only the fabric of the kimono being between them, but as her hands gently locked around the back of Fia's neck and she moved in for a rather passionate kiss the girl intended to make this yet another memory for them to never forget: to feel such love and passion as they kissed beneath a starlit sky filled with fireworks that showed the very same thing!

Only after the fireworks finally subdued the girl happily stood upright, licking her lips with the tip of her tongue to confirm she enjoyed the flavor as usual while asking with a playful tone. "Where to next?"

"But of course, I always a-purr-eciate a sly move!" Salem joked with the butler, as Fia picked up her jaw from the floor and just sighed embarrassedly at the light show before them. But as soon as Esperia straddled her, Fia couldn't help but half-grin, holding her in with one arm. "What am I gonna do with you..." The Barone girl uttered, smiling softly. She felt the girl's hands move up to her neck, knowing already where this was going, and as Esperia's lips met hers Fia would return the passionate kiss. Lips danced against one another under the light of the stars and vibrant fireworks, which seemed to mimic them above. It was truly a memorable little moment, to say the least, one that the spectators present couldn't help but smile at.

Yet another unforgettable sight on an unforgettable night.

Once the fireworks had finally finished, their locked lips parted, Fia blushing slightly at the sight of Esperia licking her lips so greedily. When the topic of where to go next came up, shrugged a little, admittedly unsure of what was next in store. "Guess we gotta give everyone a turn choosin' where ta' go..." She mused, an amused grin forming on her expression as an idea came to mind. She looked to the demonic butler. "What about you Seb, got anywhere ya wanna check out?"

When she was asked about what should be done with her next Esperia smiled mischievously at Fia's words, clearly amused at the question as she mused softly. "As if you didn't know the answer to that yet~" Indeed, it was the love and passion they felt for each other that had been a driving force for the young trickster, for her to be able to overcome the hardships that reality had thrown her way so frequently. And even then, just Fia's presence was enough to keep her spirit high, the slight blush on her fiance's cheeks earning a little giggle from the girl as she nodded in agreement to the suggestion of having the demonic butler decide on a destination. After all, the day was nearing its end, and it seemed Sebastian was quite aware of that matter.

"Hmm, perhaps we can visit some of the stalls that are holding those games? Perhaps we might even be able to win some presents to bring to the orphanage with us as a memory of this festival." Quite a clever idea, and Esperia had to admit that she did think the children would love to get some gifts from the festival! Looking at Fia she seemingly was waiting to hear her fiance's response to the suggestion that was raised, but judging from a glimpse at her expression it was clear Esperia agreed entirely with the idea!
