It was just another nice spring day in South Gate Park for Rishi. She hadn't been there in a while, and she did love seeing all of the new flowers blooming and all of the small children messing about. The sights for her brought back a lot of memories, and she had liked to remember everything she had been through, whether it be good or bad. She could tell things were coming to an end for her, and her story would be coming to a close soon, but she wasn't quite sure when that was. All she knew was that she was going to enjoy the little time she had left the best she could before everything slipped away from her and she was to be erased from the earth, leaving not a race of her presence. She sat down on a bench and had just watched as sprinklers had come on, and some of the kids had started running through them, making a mess everywhere. The girl had sighed for a moment before looking back on when she used to do those things, running around and making messes. It was fun, but those times were over, and it was time for her to move on. She messed with her hair as she waited for something else to happen.

FINAL MOMENTS
END MY MISERABLE LIFE.

Blood. The smell of her own blood haunted her. She no longer dawned elegance and her own nobility. Instead she appeared to be nothing more than a wandering peasant. Her black coat stained with her own redness, holes and tears from the blades that plagued her. The relic on her back, pressed to her skill, continued to drip from its own wound. The white fur along her collar was now burgundy, brown, and matted. Her leggings nothing more than old grey sweats covered with dirt and the excess of her self. She was nothing more than a woman waiting for death to come to her. But still, he sought answers. She sought a promise.

She had to ensure the namesake of the Manji, eve if they all passed on, they needed an heir. Here, she would find the truth to her cousin's death. Her ally. Her sister.

She walked through the grass, her gaze fixed on what l before her. Children run and played, but how could they? How could they be so happy in a world so corrupt? Chi was branded. She was forever cursed to wear the mark that had both given her a way to be free, while caging up her own soul.

She was going to be lost to this world. And so would Bodak. Their god wouldn't need them anymore. No one would.

She walked past the children, careful to not disturb this blissful life. It was only then that the sprinkler came on, and began to soak the woman.

With it, the stains of her past, would begin to be washed away, but new wounds would begin to open.

The grey haired girl had only stared as she saw a woman covered in blood and tears, seeming a bi miserable. She had walked past the kids that had been playing with ease, still going without disturbing them in any way. Who was this woman, and what was she doing here? She looked like just another person on the street if she was being honest with herself. Half of her wanted to just leave the woman to carry on with whatever she happened to be doing, but the vampire half of herself wanted to stand up and go and see what was going on, letting curiosity consume her completely. Curiosity wasn't always the best thing in the world, but right now it had seemed like the best option. She had nothing better to do anyways, and the smell of blood was filling her head, making her fangs slowly creep out without her noticing. They hung out and sat on the girl's bottom lip, and as she had stood up and started walking over to the woman, the sprinklers had turned on. She could see a light red substance run from the coat that the woman had been wearing, and she immediately knew what it was. It was time to put her urges aside and see what was going on before it was too late. "Hey are you okay?" she called out to the woman standing about 1.5 meters away. She wasn't sure if she should go over and help or just wait and not try to get hurt. She had messed with her lip using her fangs as she thought. She would just have to see how things would play out.

"Hm?" She would continue her path, only to stop at the sound of a girl's voice. It was odd, it felt as if everyone she had been meeting were all old friends, but why did they make her feel so alone.

This world, it was cruel and evil. It had taken away everything Chisu could have called her own. It had sent her to the path of being a slave. It had freed her from it, only at the cost of more of her relatives' lives. And in this land, the remainder of them fell. Was there anything to be happy for? How could a crowned heir of a forgotten village ever be happy?

She stopped to face the girl, her face nearly expressionless. The smell of blood tainting her, as well as her skin. "Are any of us really okay?"

She didn't have much to say, nor do in this place.
But maybe this girl could point her the right way.

". . . Do you know where the central plaza would be?" It was a general question, one that would answer how she would end her own life. It was the only answer she needed.

Rishi had found the woman quite peculiar. Her answer to the question she had previously asked was quite depressing, and the question she had after had been even more peculiar. She had asked about where the central plaza was, and Rishi's head slightly turned. Did she realize how far she was away from the central plaza? It would be a long walk, and from the looks of the woman, she couldn't go too much further on her own. One side of the grey-haired girl wanted to help the woman, but the other side of her was afraid that she was going to get rejected and dismissed, later on, the woman collapsing and not being able to go anywhere. She pointed her finger towards the north side of Magnolia and said, "It's over there, right in the middle of town. Why would you wanna go there though? It's a pretty far walk from here. You don't need any help, do you?" She wanted to be of as much assistance as she could for this mysterious woman, at least until she was sure that she could handle things on her own. With the state that the woman had been in, she really wasn't going to leave her alone until she had somewhere safe to rest and heal.

FINAL MOMENTS
END MY MISERABLE LIFE.

She had been in Fiore for what felt like years, when it had been the shorter end of just a single one. During all this time, cities were still new to her. She had kept to herself mostly, and as such been a hermit and a recluse compared to other mages of her equal stature.

"Over there?" she'd repeat the answer as a question, only to look to where the girl was hinting at. "I have many reasons to see it." She would give her answer, just as the girl provided her own. But then she would extend her hand to help, something, Chisu would never decline. "Only if it would not be a burden to you."

There was much to find in the plaza. She could only imagine how it would change any onlooker to witness just a demise. Name Les was to be a knight, she knew of her dream. She wished their time would have been longer and more savored than it was. But Chisu Lau would at least see this place, if not for a simple answer. She only wished to find the truth, and how death really effected this world.

. . . and perhaps, her own life would find it's real purpose.

Rishi had been quite a bit concerned. Something felt very wrong, and she couldn't really put her finger on what it could be. Something was just making the situation really... odd, and she didn't know what she was supposed to do. She was just going to try to let the situation play out and pretend nothing was wrong, hoping that the feeling wouldn't get stronger as time went on. The woman had asked if she had gotten the direction right, and Rishi nodded. She had said that she had more than a few reasons to see it, and this only made the grey-haired girl wonder even more. What could possibly be so important about the central plaza? She wasn't going to ask, because that would be rude. Or maybe she would.... nah, it wasn't polite, and she was going to try to stay as polite as possible. "It's no problem at all, I wouldn't mind helping anyone if they looked this hurt..." She said as she looked around for a moment, making sure that they weren't disturbing anything. She had made some awkward movements, trying to figure out how she was supposed to help the woman walk. She wasn't sure now why exactly she had agreed to do this in the first place, as she felt she had made a wrong decision. Well, she couldn't go back now, so why not keep going. Eventually, she just stuck her hand out with a warm smile and said, "I'm Rishi, nice to meet you," and with that, she stopped her awkward movements and waited for what the woman had to say next.

There was many ways a situation could feel, strange. One could be pairing with a stranger you only wish to aid them and lend a hand. Another could be meeting your significant other's parents for the first time. And another could be heading to a city to see where your sister died, all for the answer of trying to end your own life. All were equally as awkward as the others, at least, depending on which end of it you were on.

She would extend her own hand to meet the girl's own, "Chisu Lau." she would tell her, "Just uh call me Chi. And I can walk fine, thank you."

It was all so odd, the air about them were all wrong. "I'm not hurt, or at least, I am in no pain." she would say, "Do you often try to help those in need?"

It was a strange question, one that would make the situation all the more odd. But something was amiss. But what? What could be wrong?

"I would like to thank you for assisting me." Assisting. It was a weird choice over the word help. Maybe she had a reason for it. "But am I doing something wrong?"

FINAL MOMENTS
END MY MISERABLE LIFE.

It was wrong. It was all wrong. There was something she was hiding, something against her. Chisu could feel it, but why? Had she become a monster in the time she had disappeared? She was less than human to anyone she had met. She had to step around eggshells it seemed.

People had kept to their morals and values, but not always to their liking. Everyone was nice to her, but reluctantly. Perhaps they knew she wasn't human, but what would that matter. Most people seemed to be helpful and kind, but she could taste the prejudice. Something, something about her must had made everyone uneasy. Some thing must have made so many feel so ill towards her.

Chisu wasn't going to do this anymore.

"Actually, I would like to go alone. Thank you for your help." she would speak, not to be of ill towards the girl. Whoever she was, she wished that maybe things were different. She hoped that maybe in their next lives they could have something alike. Maybe they weren't meant for a life like this.

Maybe Chisu was just too far gone.

She ran ahead, to see the plaza for herself.

She needed to see where her sister had died.
