ManaAfter meeting some people from the guild, Joan set out to Baska. That same evening she met Jeremiah and Tecka, she packed up for the trip, taking not many clothes from her wardrobe and stuffing them into a bag. She did not plan on going to far anyways, so she would start at Baska Town. She would probably travel further later. Since Baska was not so far away, she decided to travel by foot. It was going to be a long walk, but she was did not mind. She was a vampyre, so it was even better if she arrived after dusk.
Joan noticed how quiet the whole town was, upon arrival. The news from Crocus had probably shaken the whole of Fiore. She wondered how the people in Baska Town felt about the change of monarchs. The sun dipped behind the horizon, disappearing from the sky as the moon took its place. Stars twinkling against the dark blue canvas over the sweet town. Now it was her prime time. To make sure she was energized, Joan decided to find some food before heading to an inn where she’d stay. The Baskan woods welcomed her with faint scents of blood.
