Lee Nakamura
Deep within the woods, the young Nakamura training her mind in the dead of night. It was no th the smartest things to do, but she did this for a reason. Her Umbreon, Abraxas, stayed with her with glowing rings on her pelt to light the area along with her owner's fire magic. LeeAnn was now in charge of the Nakamura family until Hikaru got back to claim the title. Everything was in her power now as also the famiily's fire gurdian to protect against the Wendigos and evils spirts that haunted her family for generations. It was her duty to uphold that for the family.

She sat there peacefully with Abraxas. The dark creature stayed on high alert as her owner meditated. Her mind was clear and calm. She pictured a drop hitting a surface of water repeatedly. The key was to focus on one thing and that one thing only. Her attention on the loud noises in the woods. Owls hooted and creatures stirred the night even on this cold december night. Everything was calm until she herd the forest quiet to silence which was unsettling for both her and her companion. LeeAnn opened both of her eyes since her eyepatch was off giving a ghoul eye and a silver eyes of two different colors. The right side of her face was a gros gray-purple infection that was a curse laid upon her several years ago.
"They're here...and hungry too Abra. Time to go burn some bodies tonight" she said, the monster hunter looking at her companion.

One must emulate both the fox and the lion, because a lion cannot defy a snare, while a fox cannot defy a pack of wolves.

Baron
Baron's romping it had began on the hills, he wanted to make sure he knew what he was getting into before he went out here and much to his surprise the locals had told him everything he needed to know about the place. Apparently there was rumor of a beast stalking around the hills, people were going missing, pets were lost and never found and monstrosities were said to loom about the place without much care for the lives of the local wild life. Baron, while not a Rune Knight just yet had taken it upon himself to seek out who or what was causing all of the ruckus in Baska. Though he found the place boring he decided to take part in hunting it on his own. Though he didn't have much of an idea where to start.

With a flip of a coin he started in the forest setting snares, he hadn't ever done this before or well. he hadn't done it since he was younger so it came a bit tricky if he was being honest. He had managed to get the rope in a fine loop though with all of the nonsense he went through to climb the tree it was already tangled about the branches making it hard for him to get a fine angle to snare the beast up. He planned to just pull it by whatever appendages it had and make it submit. That was a sound plan right?

These creatures could not be caught with simple bait or snare. A bear trap was useless. Many died to these methods. These creatures were smarter a lot smarter than the average bear. From Lee's readings and experience these creatures hated fire and their bites are noninfectious. Unlike werewolves, you do not turn into a Wendigo unless you start eating humans and cannot stop. Lee was an acceptation though. These creatures were unpredictable and had not patterns. They were simply just plain old random. Even the redhead had troubles fighting them hand-to-hand combat. Abra got up immedaitely with no hestation. She scouted about sniffing the ground for any sort of scent.

The monster hunter was an expert in these creatures. Abra glow the way provding the dead looking trees and fog lying about making it slightly difficult to see, but Lee had night vision. With this ability, she could cut through the more easily. Abra smelled something inhumane nearby then a human. The Neko smelled a human scent nd could tell it was another possbile victim heading to Hades's lair soon. "Abra, follow the human scent. We have to warn them" she commanded. The Umbreon nodded and sprinted with LeeAnn running at C-rank speed not making a single sound with each step. They both ran past empty and bare branches and pine trees. LeeAnn could clearly see another man setting traps. Clear that he was probably hunting the same creatuare or some prey. It was a small town. The Monster hunter walked up the man. "What are you planning to catch for dinner" she asked, out of curiosity. The neko left it open in case he made a remark.

LeeAnn would turn the conversation quickly to a dark and serious turn. "I would get out of here now. Being out here in this hour and in the woods is a stir for trouble. There is something out here that would like to make your its next snack and I am talking of no griffen or wyvern. Get out of here before its took late" she warned. Lee's job was to protect those of the Nakamura family from dark spirits, protect the citizen's of Fiore, hunt monsters, and lead the Nakamura clan. She had a lot on her plate for one person, but it was nothing compared to what she was used to.

Baron
There had been a lot of rumors about the town of Baska, Baron had taken them all in catching sprinkles of information about a beast hiding in the hills. From what he had heard it had taken many a women and children during nightfall, though he wasn’t too sure most of the rumors were true given the sources were often either drunk or too paranoid out of their wits to form a coherent sentence. What he was hunting was no other than the mythical Wendigo, though much to his dismay there wasn’t much to go on besides the sound it made and what it sort have looked like. There were conflicting descriptions, one depicted it as a beast with the body of man, legs of wolf and head of deer with a fine rack of antlers, another depicted it as a lanky demon-esq abomination with a body splendidly and fearsome but like the first it had a rack of antlers, the last of the descriptions was the most interesting, this one was said to be muscular and stood higher than ny man with the capability to carry a person off with one hand as its massive horns damn near blocked out the sun. Regardless of appearance Baron wanted to see it for himself, thus he had set up camp in the hills near the water and stayed up all night in his search going as far as to make a snare trap, which he was in the tree now to get to work on.

The silence of the forest had made him uneasy at first, but a certain peace had rushed over him as he thought on about what he would do with the best when he found it. Perhaps he could punch it and then take it back to town to show it off. That’d be interesting, though with a little work he could perhaps squeeze information out of it… if it spoke, but from reports it only had a loud, screech to communicate. “I better get down soon... he yawned to himself stopping on one branch to loop again. He climbed up it with little issue, rope around his shoulder being tied into a snare, though when a voice broke the silence he stumbled with the rope in his hands, one thing led to another and the tangling of the equipment led to him ultimately hanging from the tree, rope wrapped around his chest, his neck twice stopping any snapping but choking him as he hung in the tree. He didn’t kick his arms or legs and hung for a moment as he sat and ended up turning to look at who had given him a spook. A beautiful woman and her... Dog.

"Oh well, I wasn't planning on... Catching... anything..." he dropped his arms as he began to choke, "You're on the menu..." were his last words before he began to lose air flow... "Help."

Baron
Baron had managed to cut himself down, the beast, whatever it was seemed to have dissipated with the break of the sun over the shady grove of the forest. Taking the chance Baron shot it and with a clean explosion to its head and ended its existence. The speed of him doing so was so quick that he had managed a clean kill and retreated away just before the woman could be the wiser. He shook off the choking and walked off into the forest to his campingsite where he would no doubt need to heal up a bit before going back on another adventure.

He licked his lips and walked off, looking back at the woman with a wave as he headed off to get some rest. What a day, he had slain the beast and looked good while doing it. No matter he had finally gotten out of that mess. The only shame was that no one would pay him for killing the beast thus he would accept his fate and humbly head back to town later on to alert the towns folk that they were free to go about the hills again without fear of being mauled or killed. That was a good, thing right? yeah he did the right thing more or less.
