The crystal sculptress awoke with a strange, uneasy feeling that morning, all but bringing a shiver down her spine, far colder than the bitter, almost wintery morning chill. A chill no amount of warmth from her bedsheets could relieve, with no comfort from her pillow ever coming close to lulling her back to sleep.

As if the simple appearance of the Black Sun - as palpable enemies she could now chase down and kill - Baska had been literally plagued by delinquents who were readily biting off more than they could chew. In their misguided attempts to strike out at a society that pretty much didn't care about their existence, they had gotten their hands on biological weapons, the kind many dark mages would kill to get their hands on... Weapons capable of reaping thousands of lives without casting a single spell.

Despite her personal vendetta, the latter of these two problems worried her far more than the former, for reasons she couldn't even describe... A mere hunch, an ominous feeling, a visceral warning against a predator she couldn't see, hear, or even feel, but whose attack could turn animals against one another in the blink of an eye.

The earlier incident with the water pretty much urged her not to drink it, or anything coming from a public pipeline. Instead, she opted for the usual coffee for breakfast, with a single loaf of bread and ham. Alisa was quite obviously in a hurry. She dressed for battle, yet instead of the usually disciplined, military styled uniform, she went with a skimpier battledress, baring her thighs and boasting a rather impressive cleavage, for the simple reason that she could slip it on in the blink of an eye, zip up the high boots, and step outside.

The cold itself didn't really bother her, and yet, she couldn't help but shiver once more... The city felt different... A thin veil of mist yet covered the empty streets, but they looked just that... Empty... It felt like a ghost town, with even a lone sheet of newspaper blown in front of her at the slightest gust of wind.

This felt like a completely different Baska, and Alisa felt on edge the very moment she stepped outside, she immediately felt on edge as she walked towards Arisa's hotel.

Something had gone horribly wrong...

"I only hope she's alright..."

Twirling around she she was dancing by the flames of the fireplace. It roared heat like her body did for the love she felt. She enjoyed dancing as it reminded her so much of her past, the past she ends up remembering little by little. The false memory that was left behind was perhaps to save her from something or someone. In her mind played music of the past, of time as she stepped to the left, far stepped to the right and twirled once more with delicate movement from her feet. She didn't know what was all going on outside as she really haven't left her cabin since she came back from that mission she had with Alisa.

'Wonder what she's up to...' she wondered obviously, stopping her dance.

She took a breather and stepped backwards all flimsy-like as she plopped dead on the couch (not really dead). ''Maybe I should start eating less... Feels harder to do dances.'' she spoke to herself while her golden eyes mirrored the flames. The couch was comfortable -- made of maroon leather and the edges and top of the love seat was black, to be specific the couch was a chesterfield type. She had two pillows on each side that was enough for back support and one to use for her head if she wished to lay on either side. Slowly her body tilted to the right as her head softly crashed into the pillow made of real feathers from who-knows-what. Her hair was a mess and she honestly was just wearing her light purple/lilac robe that was obviously all tied up.

These streets all but looked as if Baska had turned into no man's land overnight, but Alisa knew that to be impossible. The people were out there, somewhere, but for everyone to have seemingly vanish... Odds were she wouldn't find them exactly as she'd grown used to? Had the gangsters released the poison into the water? As her heels clacked with every step over the cobblestone, she kept her hands loose beside her, her entire body ready to spring into action at the slightest hint of a warning sign...

Wierdly enough, she'd seen what that disease did to animals, and expected to find herself caught in a battleground had they released it. Not anywhere like this. As the wind howled, the woman narrowed her eyes, struggling to see past the veil of mist... To no avail.

Her sense of direction came through, thankfully, and she felt no struggle with finding her way to Ari's hotel, having been there enough times to easily get there blindfolded if she really needed to. A few corners here, a few alleys there, and soon enough she had arrived. The lobby itself looked just as deserted as everything else, which looked even more troubling... Arisa... Was she alright? Alisa found herself moving faster the higher up the strairs she got, and by the time she knocked on her friend's door, her heartbeat had picked up enough for her to feel the thumping in her chest:

"Ari...!", she called out, hoping to grab the girl attention even before she opened, only to sight in relief when Arisa called back, hopefully when she opened the door and let her in. She'd greet her friend with a hug as she so often did, yet holding her tighter than usual, betraying her concern...

She looked at nothing as she didn't even bother opening her eyes. Her mind was thinking for a bit. Why was it so quiet? Usually she heard people yelling, knocking at the door to sell something or even kids teasing and hitting the walls outside. There was no sound, nothing but the 'sound' of silence. Was Noel gone again for the day? Did he leave town? She didn't know... She didn't have eyes everywhere like she would wish to if it didn't make her sound like some psycho. As her muscles started to relax against this furniture she heard a knock. 'There we go...' she thought and pushed herself up. ''Hopefully it's the people who sell cookies.'' she dreamed of simply as she wanted some sweets.

As she turned to a nightstand she grabbed her money and walked towards the door.

Knock knock knock

The knock was getting louder, or so it seemed. ''ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!'' she yelled and jogged towards the door with money in her other hand. ''Didn't think you guys would be so ansey to sel-'' she started and blinked as soon as she saw who it was and the background... The town was covered in fog, the people weren't around at all and it was totally off the set compared to the last time she went outside. ''Holy.~ What happened from the last time I came outside?'' she wondered softly and looked at Alisa confused. A minute passed before she shook out of it, pulling Alisa in and closed the door. That was some fourth world Silent hill shit going on outside. ''Come on!'' she yelled when she did grab Alisa, pulling her inside, closed the door and locked it totally, for sure. Slowly she walked to the night stand and put away the money, turned to Alisa and leaned against the wall. ''Soo what made you wanna go outside then?'' she wondered curiously.

Arisa didn't take so long to answer, thankfully, and even more importantly, she appeared to be alright. Whatever had befallen the town. She'd never been so thankful for Ari being a loner, but then again, she never really gave that much thought... Even though it might be one of the reasons they got along so well, hell, one of the reasons why they even met up to begin with. Her smile widened at the sight of her:

"I have absolutely no idea...", Alisa shrugged and shook her head, yet this was the least reassuring an answer as she could give... Not just to the angel, but especially to herself. As someone who valued knowledge, admitting her cluelessness like this came hard. Nonetheless, she reached one hand for her chin soon enough, folding her arms under her bosom in a way that all but threatened to snap the single tying knot under her neck with the sheer pressure on her cleavage, "It has to be related to some of the enemies we've faced thus far... But which... And most importantly, how?"

Mumbling out loud, lost in her train of thought like this, Alisa completely missed her friend grabbing her wrist and pulling her indoors:

"I figured we'd have another mission to take care of...", explained the sculptress, some of her unease fading away as she watched Ari lock the doors, as if that could keep out the unknown and let her figure out the truth in peace... But such a thing would obviously prove impossible, "I defenitely didn't see this coming..."

She shifted towards the window, slowly parting away the curtains for her to peek outside. Yep, some forth world 'Silent Hill' shit. She literally was actually biting her lower lip from her left side -- usually it was her right. Her heart was racing as she saw the fog and it wasn't that she was scared, but it spiked her curiosity. If someone, anyone knew her they'd know her curiosity was dangerous. As far as she knew or could hear, Alisa reported that she didn't know what was going on, but her good guess was that it had to do with those posers. The people that they fought, giving her and/or their client trouble as well. This fog was enough for people to get lost... lost and hurt. She felt she had to do something... but...

Grrrrr~

Her stomach pained with hunger, such a glutton she was as she had to eat quite a lot. If that wasn't bad, she also drank alcohol a lot as well. Surprisingly Noel has said nothing about all the bottles at her place. She stepped back, letting the curtain fall back into place and turned towards the direction where Alisa was standing. ''I believe we should eat first as we prepare ourselves for what we might find.... or see while we figure out what also went on.'' she spoke seriously and low. It was like she somehow knew what was going on, but truly she didn't... it just felt familiar. Her town... when she was alive, a child and the day her siblings were killed one-by-one it was foggy. The day that the towns people went insane compared to the other days, it was foggy. Her mirror-like golden eyes gazed towards the fridge and opened it. ''I'll cook you food. What do you want to eat?'' she questioned in a ''trying to speak softly'' kind of tone.

There were many things and truly she wished for herself to get more stuff from the store. She had meat related things, vegetables and practically everything on the food group. The real question was what her friend wanted. ''Well...'' she started, closed the fridge and looked at her with her soft eyes gazing at her friend's red ones. ''I'll go get changed into actual clothes and do something about my messy hair while you think of something.'' she spoke, smiled and bowed her head to excuse herself. Arisa soon exited the living room - kitchen area and into her bedroom. It was quite large, but she was happy about that... enough room for extra things.

The sudden and not exactly unexpected growl from Ari's direction lightened the mood somewhat, with the sculptress bringing one hand up to her mouth, chuckling lightheartedly

"Mmm, breakfrast would be lovely indeed, yet I don't need much... Just some coffee and a croissant will suffice. Or if you could make some orange juice, I'd like that as well.", she'd say, nodding and furrowing her brow once again as the latter part of her suggestion had Alisa thinking about these unusual circumstances once again.

She realized how her choices hardly left much for Arisa to cook, yet that too had a purpose behind it; Alisa didn't really feel like taking her sweet time having a good long meal while god knows whatever was happened to the whole damn town. But neither would she push Ari to head out while in her 'just gotten out of bed'. Yes, she actually looked pretty that way, but Alisa herself had heard the same thing about herself yet that hardly gave her any real interest in showing it to the whole world.

"That's alright. In the meantime, I'll see if I can't figure this thing out...", She'd say, still certain she'd arrive at a decent conclusion.

With this, she simply pulled a chair and sat down, gracefully crossing her legs, and then her arms, once more letting that train of though wander off the tracks as it suited her. A whole town vanishing overnight...? Could this be Black Sun's doing? Not likely, there would be a bloody mess wherever they went in that case. Black Sun weren't known for subtlety when they wanted to make people disappear.

But then, these people couldn't really have vanished completely now, could they? Well, ideally, assuming they were still alive somewhere would make things easier. If she assumed they all died and forgot to look carefully, then it turned out they were actually still alive, all manners of unpleasant consequences could thus ensue...

Once she got into her room she walked in front of her large floor mirror that was able to reflect her whole body (it was quite tall). Her eyes gazed deeply at herself, into her own eyes while she remembered that one very day. The Silent day. She roamed as a kid and so did her siblings, but they all didn't know roaming on that day was the meaning to their demise, their doom and to the beginning of some other's...

Running, playing hide and go seek like many children play, but today it was in some fog. No child would have known what was going to happen... She shook her head and looked away to find some child standing about five feet away from her. They were shadowed, dripping with liquid of who-knows-what. As far as she could tell, it could be from the abyss itself. The very water that she flowed on every so often. ''What do you want from me?'' she questioned nervously. Her hand brought itself against her own heart as it pained. It didn't talk nor did she see much movement besides it's head. It twitched and moved swiftly up towards her with a slow-motion movement from her pointing finger touching Arisa's heart. It felt like some aura was spreading within her, but when she blinked and opened up her eyes, the 'person' was missing.

Alisa hardly shifted much in her seat, save for occasionally crossing her legs the other way, a simply, unconscious gesture even she herself hardly noticed to begin with. She thought about their situation for what felt like a long time before Arisa finally returned, and when she did the sculptress had finally accepted to assume as if the citizens were all alive, possibly still in the city - even overnight, moving so many people away would have taken far too long and proved far too noisy for the sculptress not to wake up through it - which meant she could find them.

Despite the recent appearance of Black Sun, these events looked so incredibly different from the methods of those infamous group of thieves that Alisa hardly spared much thought to the two being related.

And she had not idea how, unlike herself, Arisa would find herself visited by such unpleasant memories from her past far more readily, to the point of taking longer in dressing herself up in the bathroom. She'd spare an occasional curious glance at the bathroom, door; and though she didn't tap her foot, Alisa had a faint hint of impatience in her eyes. Clearly, she'd much prefer to be out there trying to figure out what happened to the city than staying cooped up indoors, regardless of how safe it may appear...

A tingle feeling was rubbing against her heart. ''Weird, must be my imagination then.'' she spoke to herself and went to grip the closet to open it up. Her eyes looked the shirts, the pants, the dresses and just grasped for an already prepared outfit. It was just regular pants that had a torn scratch on the left thigh and a leather belt. For her shirt, she wore a white tank top, tucked into her pants. Today she decided to put her hair up and through a loop of a hat, wearing a baseball-like hat. It was black with no logo on it. She was ready for what was coming up next, or was she? Arisa exited out of her room to see Alisa doing whatever and walked towards the kitchen. 'Orange juice right?' she was thinking to herself. She grabbed for a tool, some oranges from the fridge and started to peel them. One by one they were being peeled and smelling rather good.

Every couple of oranges she started to nom on one as she loved fruit. Fruit made her feel amazing, delightful and honestly it was like candy to a child in comparison. A child on the other hand wouldn't be able to make their own stuff... typically anyways.

Soon she started wondering about what kind of effects that disease might have if spread across a whole town. She saw those effects rather vividly when it infected the wild boar population, yet that merely comprised as isolated case of four animals, as opposed to a whole city of humans after contaminating its water supply. Would they all simply turn rabid, foaming at the mouth and attacking anything in sight? Or would there be a method to the infected madness, a result of the host's comparatively high intelligence as opposed to simple wild animals?

This posed a difficult question, pushing the limits of what Alisa could answer while devoid of advanced medical and biological knowledge like a doctor might have. She tilted her head down slightly, two stray locks of hair freely draping down her shoulder and over the wooden material.

As absorbed in her thoughts like this, Alisa all but missed Arisa stepping out of the bathroom until the girl finally asked that question, "That's it, thank you~", she answered with an appreciating tone, pushing those thoughts away from her mind for the time being. She'd have plenty of time to ponder on them soon enough, "So, I've been thinking about this citywide problem we have on our hands...", she'd talk to Arisa as she prepared breakfast, "I very much doubt Black Sun has anything to do with it, but this doesn't look like a mere disease outbreak either..."

As she made orange juice, she was thinking of other things. The oranges had to be thrown away after she used them for the juices, besides the orange peels. She felt like making some candles that she will perhaps put orange peels within them, making them smell like oranges. That couldn't possibly mean she had to do that right at this moment. She grabbed some bags, put the orange peels into the bag and slid them into a dresser-like cabinet. She imagined the good smell of oranges, fruit in general as it made her feel hungry to be honest. Speaking of food, she walked towards the fold-up bread container to grab the croissants. After that she grabbed one, warmed it up in a toaster-like oven and put it on the plate.

'The coffee should be done by now...' she thought as she walked towards the coffee maker. She wasn't a huge fan of coffee nor anything like it, unless you counted hot chocolate related to coffee. Yawning softly she stretched so her back cracked a little and she truly needed that. Her bones felt painful sometimes and sadly, she wished she had someone to pop it for her. After that was done, she went to where Alisa was with a tray and gave her the stuff she wanted. 'Hope she finds it okay.'' she thought. She listened to what Alisa finally had to say as she could tell stuff was on her mind.

Alisa rather enjoyed watching Arisa go at it, even preparing something as simple as a glass of orange juice, especially after seeing for herself, tasting for herself just how good the violet haired angel could actually cook. That citrine smell wafted all the way from her place and tickled Alisa's nostrils, leaving the sculptress idly sniffing the air and folding her arms over the table, all but sampling the delicious orange juice to come.

The longer she cooked, the longer the sculptress' eyes hung on the angel's every move, following her as she moved away to grab the other half of Alisa's breakfast, the croissants, and finally the coffee.

A sleepy yawn left the fighter's mouth - with her hand raising over her mouth to cover it - echoing Ari's own. She noticed the girl didn't really answer her question... She didn't really need to, as Alisa was mostly thinking out loud, but she'd eventually want to hear her two cents on the matter. She needn't do it now though, especially as she placed a rather yummy looking tray of food.

"My, it looks delicious~", she praised, bringing her hands together over her chest and smiling appreciatingly at her best friend, tilting her head slightly, "Much obliged~", and taking a good long gulp of her orange juice.

Her smile widened as she drank it, visibly delighted at the taste, and wound up finishing the whole glass before she noticed. Those vitamins were far more easily absorbed on an empty stomach, which explained why she always started her meal with the fruity parts.

So she doubted the black sun had anything to with it, huh? She doubt they had anything to do with it as well. It wasn't their forte to control weather, making it foggy and make the trouble to make every town person disappear. The people disappearing... where could they be? She sat down with her food to eat, nomming on the food... tasted so good. She thought of when she was in the kitchen, making her own food and after she got done making Alisa's food. Her stomach was growling of course, but when doesn't it growl like that?

Taking a deep breather to relax, she grabbed a black mug with different colors of dots. It was created my ceramics, from herself. 'Heh, one of the only things I'm proud of making. A success at least...' she thought with a small frown. Several seconds she switched, turned and grabbed for the coffee, cups of creme and little du-dads that people possibly put in their coffee.

Grrrr~

Her stomach was in pain, but what was she going to eat? She wasn't really sure.... She hurried to the potatoes, peeled them, cut them in chip pieces and threw them onto a pan. After that she pan fried some ham and toasted some bread that later got butter and sugar on it that was mixed with cinnamon.
Now here she was... eating it with also a glass of orange juice of her own.

"You should help yourself to some of this. It's really good but then you should know; you cooked it~", Alisa offered, pushing the plate of her croissant a bit further towards the light mage. Indeed the sculptress didn't need to eat much, but she should have remembered how sharing the comparatively small amount she normally ate would never be enough for Arisa, "...Ooor you could just go, make more..."

Her voice trailed off as Arisa simply walked back towards the counter and started preparing something else for herself. Curious, Alisa simply kept watching as she ate through her croissant and sipped through her coffee, enjoying the chef do her thing to keep herself entertained as she indulged in her delicious breakfast. She peeled potatos and threw them in a pan with ham... Seemed like a rather hefty breakfast, yet this was somewhat to be expected considering how much she normally saw this girl eat:

"You have an amazing metabolism you know, to eat that much for breakfast and hardly need to work out...", Alisa praised, after swallowing another mouthful of food, "I could easily call that lunch, and any onlookers would be none the wiser."

She didn't have much food left, and even for Ari this looked like a rather light meal as opposed to how much she normally ate. All the better since they really didn't have time to sit around for hours. Sooner rather than later the sculptress finally heard a suspicious sound, something that almost sounded like a commotion, yet too low to be nearby...

"Something's going on...", she said, just in case Arisa didn't hear it

She continued to eat her food, oils, potatoes, grain, fruit it was all so good. She tasted the sweetness of the juice she handmade by using the oranges, peeling them and that one tool -- Arisa didn't remember the name of that tool. She closed her eyes to enjoy every taste of everything she was eating and drinking. Did it really matter? The time around her was quite limitless. She was halfly dead, gone, but she wasn't like the actual undead; like vampires. Her 'heart' was still beating and she didn't really understand since all angels were alive and then died once so doesn't that include in being part of the undead? It brought many questions in her head and she felt like she wouldn't get any answers any time soon.

As time went on by, Alisa was speaking about her metabolism and how it was great or something like that. Was it though? She held all that alcohol because of the fact she wasn't really 'alive'. Her lips formed into a frown and wondered if Alisa even really knew. 'Oh wait.... I never told her how it happened....' she thought more and lowered her gaze. She put down her fork, spoon and glass after finishing her orange juice and got up. ''Welp, we should go! Let us solve this stuff like some mystery horror game.'' she smiled and giggled being quite positive with what was going on. She felt off though as she thought of before, it happened when people went crazy and did the unspoken to whom they see....

Arisa left her dishes here and swayed her hand forward and backward. ''Haha.~ Don't worry about the dishes. I'll take care of them when I get back.'' she reported sweetly, reassuringly and then grabbed for the door knob to exit as soon as Alisa seemed ready.

Leave it to Arisa to think about the food she just cooked while eating it. Alisa didn't really know this, of course, but it laid well within the possibilities she had in mind as she watched Arisa

"You're oddly excited about all this~", teased the sculptress, a smile forming on her lips despite the obvious gravity of the situation. In the end, she clearly found Arisa's cheer infectious.

They's step back outside the chilly, eerie mist and Alisa felt on edge immediately, especially once the apparent commotion she heard earlier grew louder and louder. Taking a deep breath and relaxing her body, she narrowed her eyes and turned to face that direction. She held her ground, ready to fight at the slighest hint of danger... But first, she had to see what she was up against. Soon, three silhouettes grew visible, one larger and one smaller. And the closer they grew, the better the idea Alisa had, until the moment she recognized one of them. The Doctor they'd been working with all this time, fleeing from two infected townspeople:

"Oh, you two!! Heeeeelp!!!", huffed the exhausted doctor, sweating buckets after running for gods know how long from the two infected townspeople, running after him like men posessed. And despite his stupendous girth, the obviosuly unfit doctor had miraculously evaded them so far by virtue of willpower alone.

Thankfully, he'd run right into the perfect two girls for the job. Curious as to whether these infected people retained their intelligence, she ran past the doctor and rushed one of them down: Stepping in sideways, she chambered her right leg and put all of that forward momentum into an intercepting side kick, nailing the guy in the gut and sending him flying, crashing into a wall behind him.

"Ari! Get that one!!"

If Arisa couldn't, she'd rush the last foe down and knock him out with a chop to the neck. The doctor's presence, fleeing from those infected people, all but confirmed the worst of their fears. The plague had been released in the water supply system. Alisa's careful nature warned her against drinking it, the doctor had vaccinated himself, and Arisa... Well, looking at her radiant best friend, Alisa had no idea how she had managed to remain uninfected, perhaps she could ask her later? Maybe her angelic grace had something to do with it...

"Then what's up with the mist?", Alisa gestured to the very air around her, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow as somebody finally addressed the elephant in the room...

Or in this case, the whole damn city. Yet the answere thoroughly defied her expectations

"This...? Oh, absolutely nothing. If anything, they timed their attack for the day when we'd have the hardest time doing something about it.", explained the doctor, looking none too impressed by the veil of mist; perhaps a bit annoyed if anything.

As she stepped down the stairs and outside of her home that all could call safe, she felt the gist of wind of some toxicity. It was almost the same very feeling and smell of when she was a mere child long ago - or so it felt as if it was a long time ago. Arisa walked normally with her arms dangling against her large hips. Her hair was hiding mostly in the hat-cap she was wearing on this journey of theirs. The fog was a little thick, but enough to see about five (if not more) feet away. 'This feels all too familiar...' she thought coldly while her eyes squint as if trying to look further up or even concentrating on the path forward itself.

The kids use to play in the fog as it was the perfect time to play games of hide and go seek, but who would have known that it was the wrong day to play it? The weirdest part was that it was only the adults who were infected, not the children. All that were lower than the age of fifteen got infected by this... The children? They either died horrifically or they turned into something else... non-human. She had to go back to that village again one of these days, but she then wondered if the fog was there and if these people got some information from the people of Sin to create such a toxin.

She saw a form within the fog and was prepared to do what she must, rather to kill, knockout or help. She heard a man yelling help and that was when she went off. Her mind was no longer really there as her eyes became rather foggy colored. Her mind? It was in the past, but the only good thing was... was that she wasn't blinded. The man went past, not realizing it was the doctor. Knowing that Alisa would have her back she went in on the next one as Alisa was most likely going for the first one that went on by. The second one was hers as she had to only simply knock them out. They were villagers, right? They were only poisoned by someone who believed in their own pride and self-beliefs and this was the outcome of that.

Arisa let the second one pass, but quickly she twirled towards the left, right foot out and ducked, sweep-tripping the human from behind. Her leg tripped the human that then landed on their face into the cement. She leaned over, bent down and grabbed the human by the color. Next she walked towards Alisa, dragging the human to gather the infected and stood there like some statue. ''We must gather the rest, Alisa. The infected are most likely just wandering, lost till they find someone to prey on. If we don't do anything quick... people may die.'' Arisa explained not fully mentally being there, but it was the truth as this is what happened in the past. If it was the exact same -- that was unknown. Arisa left Alisa behind as she jotted off. If the doctor had anything to say, the doctor will tell Alisa and maybe she will tell Arisa unless of course they were separated by the fog...

It also seemed like the reason why the infected had remained unnoticed thus fair laid in their innate attraction towards others of the same kind. They'd group up with other infected, and at the same time spread the plague to the rather few non infected they came across, thus spreading the disease and making any individual attempt to cure each person suicidal. The doctor had already planned ahead for at least this much.

"Indeed we must.", nodded Alisa at Ari's question, as the doctor grabbed small canisters filled with gas and

sprayed them on the two citizen's faces.

"We cannot simply cure everyone in this way however.", explained the doctor, putting the canister back in his pocket, getting back upright as he drew both women's attention back to him, "It would take too long, and in the meantime the infected would likely deal a lot of damage, probably kill the few people we've already healed. No, we must strike at this plague with surgical precision."

"And however do you suggest we do that?", Alisa crossed her arms, a hint of doubt spread across her face, clearly stating the doctor would need one hell of a suggestion to convince her of its feasibility.

But he actually did. Already planning for one such outbreak, he'd placed canisters within three contagion hotspots, and gave the two girls detailled instructions of how to reach them, and activate the dispersal systems. But he also left a warning. The infected are drawn to all living things, and attack any non infected on sight. If they came across any infected and didn't defeat them soon enough, others would come around to help them.

And once they cured one third of the city, that area would become a warzone...

Still, they couldn't exactly do nothing now could there? Faced with no alternative, Alisa and Arisa had their work cut out for them...

Before she ran off, she did get a hear of what the guy had to say, the doctor. Something about not being able to cure everyone and then specifically; "It would take too long, and in the meantime the infected would likely deal a lot of damage, probably kill the few people we've already healed. No, we must strike at this plague with surgical precision.". She went to towards the east and left behind an orange peel as she had some in her pocket for some reason. 'Right, I made orange juice not that long ago, remember?' she questioned herself, towards her thoughts as she jogged towards the way. Rather she was going the right way or not, it was a mystery. Arisa didn't tend to know what was going on with her own self-being.

Moments went by and if Alisa came and caught up with the doctor then she kept on going till they ran into some townies that started to fight each other. She went on ahead, ran in the middle of them quickly within the lightful fog, long arms hooked the two into their throats, making them fall down. They were infected and semi-slow at paying attention. They most likely paid more attention to the doctor and Alisa than herself. Hoping it was a success, if it was then the doctor nodded and started to set up the detonator. The thing seemed somewhat small, but it will do the job, right? If not then they might have to kill everyone around here, including the people who did this. They weren't any innocent as a regular criminal now which allowed her the ability to annihilate whoever was the enemy of the innocent.

She wondered who did that to her people or if the one that did that to her own town was even human... No mere human knew the exact old ritual of sacrificing a certain amount, certain ways and so on. It was gore-like and she didn't want to remember the exact details at this moment. She had a mission to do and right now it was time to go west instead of east. Her eyes paid attention to the people that were knocked out by either her or finished by Alisa. It didn't matter to her since Alisa an Arisa didn't bother doing some stupid childish competition during a mission. Sometimes people did those kind of silly things on seeing who was better or even who did more of what. It was bothersome, tiresome and more. She went on ahead, but not as fast towards the west of where they need to go. '1 out of 3 done.' she thought and continued on.

With Arisa heading off in one direction, Alisa made a beeline straight for the other one. Between each of their strength, the two of them should have no trouble clearing out the first two goals then regrouping right at the third one. And if they did everything correctly, this should cure each and every infected person in the city. Now the tricky part was manouvering around and avoiding all the infected townsfolk, yet thankfully, Alisa was pretty good at laying low, avoiding attention like plagues worse than this one.

She manouvered through alleys slow and stealthily, and at worst had to take down one or two infected who spotted her before they alerted their friends, doing sow with quick melee attacks. And her destination? A clock tower around the edge of town, opposite the one Arisa had ventured into. A rather decent group of infected roamed around it, prompting Alisa to wait around for a short time before finally venturing inside, and climbing up the stairs

Now it must be somewhere around here..

Jackpot. At the top at the tower laid a pair of high pressure air canisters, strapped to a gas disperser. Undoubtedly, this had to be the cure mechanism the doctor spoke about. Alisa approached it, examining every tap and gear comprising the contraption, rubbing her temple the whole way:

"Now how to get this gadget working...", It took her a good while to figure it out, yet thankfully, Alisa had no only helped gather all of the components for this cure, but also smelled it before, and this way, immediately understood when she actually turned the thing on, "...And that takes care of that."

Arisa ran towards where she thought was the other one, but when she looked back where she believed it was Alisa... she was no where. 'Wasn't she there? With me? And the doctor?' she thought and walked back and saw no one besides the detonator. 'What's going on?' she wondered and bent down to do a little here and there with it as she fixed it so it'll work. She swore that they were here, but there was no sign of them ever being here in the first place. The fog was so thick as if it was created instantly with no passing of time with it not being created.

Her heart pounded and felt lost and she didn't want to call for help, for him. No! This wasn't a case she needed help from him... this wasn't severe as she had to swollen up the courage and hold onto it. Arisa didn't want to always depend on him, she had the thoughts of him to keep her going, but there were other people out there that cared about her too, right? The abyss of white was like the abyss of black and nothing could get rid of it besides the mother herself. The mother... who was the mother? Who was 'her' mother?

She continued on running through the alley way and to another street. She swore she was close, but close she was not. She imagined some fourth world piano playing some certain music as she ran along the fog, but not so long till she then saw screaming and closer she then imagined a man eating a woman alive. Her eyes widened, teared and stepped back as she then tripped from behind to plop on her butt against the cement. Her mind wasn't in reality, that much was being told. This was something else and not what was really happening here, right? She was sure she was going to wake up in bed with Noel on her side or alone...

She continued on running, running and running till she was able to find someone, something. The sound that was going on within the silence seemed closer to her than ever...

Sound of Silence, beauty does it part as it surrounds with delusions to the mind. Drops of ashes it snows while slowly shadows creep. Sanity is swallowed when the insanity welcomes the soul to keep. It'll first seem kind, but in the end you only see your body on the cold hard ground...As you, in life, resigned.

She was on the ground now else where as there was no bloody person on the ground and no lunatic of a human being. Her mind was becoming lost and there was no light to shine a path. No light till she then slowly got up with that unknown courage and went towards where she believed was the last spot. 'I... I have to think of what's real.. otherwise I'll be lost forever.' she thought and continued on going. This was it, wasn't it? The path that lead to where they must go.

As she wandered back out the clock tower, a chilly breeze struck her face. According to the doctor, the cure's effects would still take a while, yet she could already sniff out hints of that product in the air, and knew cointainment was finally upon them. She picked up something else too however... Something stirring, as if the disease could tell its end would soon come. The infected had likely grown more active, as Alisa would soon find.

As she hastily made way for an alley, she slid under the attempted grasp of another infected, sliding down and tripping the infected human, darting off as two others followed her, growling and raving like mad beasts. Alisa paid them no mind as none of them had the ghost of a chance of catching up to her. But the noise they made drew others, more and more until had a small army of infected hot on her tail. Cool as ever, she funnelled them through narrow alleyways, effectively trapping the bulk of them there, and finally raising a hand just as she made her way out of said alley.

With a crackling, crystallizing sound, she produced a wedge like adamantine wall, sealing off the bulk of the undead and halting their pursuit. Alisa couldn't really see where she was going though... She had a pretty good sense of direction and a half decent mental layout of Baska, but the mist defenitely made it more complicated... The main issue now revolved around actually finding her friend. Alisa knew where she needed to go, Arisa did too, but as time went on, the sculptress just found it simpler to tap her foot and activate her sensory spell, until finally, she spotted something. An individual taller thank most, also running around but with a more paced, calculated step than the frenzied running of the infected:

"Arisa...!!", cried out the sculptress, skipping closer to her friend with a hurried jog, approaching the tall, violet haired figure as it grew visible, "Did you activate your gadget?", she'd ask, tilting her head, before smiling and stating, pointing in the adequate direction, "In that case, we should hurry over to the last one."

Going through the shadows and watching around through her surroundings. Arisa wasn't quite sure on where she was going as the directions were non-clear. The fog was thick and she couldn't see any patterns of anything. Slowly she walked through the silence and tried to keep her head and thoughts together, keeping her ground ore as some would say, making sure she doesn't turn towards insanity. Where could Alisa be? It feels like it has been hours since the last sight of her. Did she leave her be? Alone perhaps doing this alone...? It could not have as Alisa wasn't the selfish type, right?

Soon enough she met up with her, waved and of course poked her to make sure it was really her. She questioned about if she activated that tool of a thing and after seconds she snapped out of it. ''Uh, yea! I did...'' she spoke and then saw six in the last area. ''Let's hurry...'' she spoke and whispered a word, disappearing 100%ly. She walked away from Alisa and ran towards the three who were grouped away from the other three, making six total. Sliding on the ground she tripped over one, got up with an upper cut to the second one and punched the third one in the face. that she looked at Alisa and saw she was done - after she did whatever. They defeated them, activated the last one and it became clear. After their job was done, they were reward and all that stuff.
