Kenny rubbed his eyes as he yawned and sat on his own in the restaurant, his right hand’s fingers drummed across the table top as he thought about what he was going to eat.He already knew, but wanted to order extra for when he got home. He ordered a few things, a bowl of noodles, a few beef tips, a few bowls of rice, more beef tips, a rack of ribs, rotisserie chicken and a couple of fries to keep him energized… Erm, baskets of fries.

He was alone in his booth, the two story establishment more than befitting for a man of his stature, given he didn’t have a family to come with… Well no, he had a family but they were awfully busy this time of night. The waitress had brought his four bowls of rice, him picking up his spoon and diving on in finishing the first, second and third bowl before ordering two or three more from the waitress as he dove into the fourth. He would continue this trend until he was about seven bowls in, yet he still felt hungry and the rest of his food had yet to come. He took a drink of his beer and went back to chowing down bowls seeming to stack at his lonesome table as he belched in relief. Maybe he wouldn’t make it to the beef tips.. Shame he didn’t have someone to share this with.

Is There Truly Magic Hidden Within Me?

Jeeroy slowly wandered into a restaurant rubbing his head as he tried to get rid of the ever growing headache throbbing in the back of his skull. He did not notice how empty the place was and also did not notice the man sitting at the same table that he was wandering up on. As he sat down, he scanned the area around him, surprised and embarrassed to find himself now sitting at a table with a man, thankfully it was one he knew that went by the name of Kenny. He had spoken to the man a few times in the past, but other than that, he had very little contact with the man before him who seemed to have a four course meal for three set out in front of him. "Whoops, did not mean to end up here. Sorry, I am just a bit out of it today. Fucking headache bothering me." Jeeroy would tell the man to try and explain why he was now randomly sitting at the table with him as he was scarfing down the food before him. Jeeroy's stomach would growl and he would roll his eyes in annoyance. He did not even know if he could eat because of this headache.

He ate some more bowls, they were going down like water, sweet watery white water… Hm Maybe Kenny could go white water rafting later, would be a fun little thing to try with some others one day. Get a big boat, maybe a few life vest and just head out to some white water and ride those waves like a smooth lover, or maybe a rough lover… Whatever he was eating he could barely think. He would soon look up when there was a thud at the seat before him, what was this? A stranger? A challenger? No, no, no it was far better. Everyone’s favorite giant was here tonight, the big guy, the muscle man, the curly “haired” freak outside of the sheets, friggen Jeeeeeerrroy. Kenny liked this big guy, he was a big fella tons of fun, literally tons of fun he was the size of a damn rhino and… Kenny heard the growl of the giant’s stomach, looking up from this bowl of rice, he was obviously hungry. Kenny raised a hand to the waitress for a few more bowls of rice and slid the ones he had infront of him towards Jeeroy. “Hey man, long time no see, have some rice. Ha ha you already sat down with me.”

Is There Truly Magic Hidden Within Me?

Jeeroy would listen to the man as he would pull out a pill and take it with some water to hopefully ease the headache. The man offered him some rice as his stomach grumbled again and he sighed, taking a bowl. "You want a drink?" He would grunt out to the man, feeling as if he needed one himself. "Of course you want a drink what am I asking?" He would laugh hardily and order them a round of beers on himself. "So how have you been, friend?" He would scarf down a bowl of rice in under three seconds and move to another one, not realizing how hungry he was. Did they have unlimited rice that night? It would surely be nice if they did. Beer and rice, such a great combination...at least until they both came up later that night. Jeeroy picked up his beer as it came and took a large drink out of it, savoring the taste as it slid across his tongue. "Hmm...not as good as a martini, but I guess I could use a man's drink tonight." He smiled at the man before him while taking another drink and pushing the other beer towards him.

Kenny continued to eat, man this rice was good he didn’t even notice his beef tips get placed down in front of him, a stray hand gripped his fork and stabbed into the rich meat of the tips and pulled one into his mouth, teeth tearing flesh from bone as he would chow down, the rice softening his meal all the quicker. He was almost lost in the delicious of his rice as he peaked from the side of his newest bowl, “Sure I can drink brotha.” he chuckled madly as he was almost halfway done with this bowl. This was getting ridiculous, what number was he even on? He eyed Jeeroy and finally put down his bowl to speak, a calm sigh leaving his lips, “Well man I am good just got back from a short trip to Oak had to attend to something, turns out things were a little shakey there and I dipped before anyone even realized I was in town.” he spoke calmly as he looked at the giant, “Hey, why not order from the liquor menu? My treat.” he chuckled as he went back to eating only to stop mid stride, “What about you? How have you held up?” he picked up a beer and toasted it to jeeroy before throwing it back to wash down his rice.

"Oak huh? What were you there for?" Jeeroy asked curiously to make conversation. "And no sir, if you are buying the rice then I am buying the drinks! Order whatever you would like, I have some cash to spare!" He ordered them another round of drinks. "Me, I have been well. Got myself a new weapon!" He pulled the scythe off of his side and showed it to the man who he hoped was a weapon enthusiast like himself. "This baby is great. All it has to do is hit someone once, and then whatever damage I do to myself, they take as well. I can knock someone out from meters away! It is hella awesome! You should fight me again at some point, we can spar!" He put the weapon back on his side as their drinks came and he downed his in one go, grabbing one of the two shots that he ordered. Being as he was such a large man, he had a high tolerance to alcohol and it would take a lot before he even began feeling anything, which he believed was a major flaw in being a giant. Sometimes he just wanted to get drunk, and he just could not.

Kenny was really enjoying the night, seemed that Jeeroy was in higher spirits than when he just plucked down in front of him earlier. When the giant asked kenny was he was doing in Oak the Omega laughed aloud and stroked his chin putting down his bowl and looking at the giant picking his teeth with his knife, “Well I was on some business, had to meet someone I haven’t seen in awhile, old doctor. Thought I could catch him to see about a little something but he wasn’t in his office, I figured he was out of town because the shop door and the door in the back was locked given he always keeps them open for visitors.” Kenny explained and picked up another beer, turning up the golden ale with a burst of pride as he raised yet another, not of course before choking on his beer as Jeeroy pulled out a massive scythe. “What on earth?!” he chuckled. The thing was pretty bad ass red blades and all, “You totally could, wow you could do some real damage with that reach.” with that a light went off in kenny’s head.

“Hey, why don’t we go tests that baby out? On some fruit or something, there’s a market not too far from here old cabbage farmer sits out there for hours trying to sell the things, we can go grab a few and make some salad with that big ass knife.” the rest of his food finally came, he gestured to Jeeoy to join, “Let’s dig in first though!”

Jeeroy was absolutely in for the man's idea of testing out his weapon on some cabbages. He had yet to cut into anything with the blades, and though it would be strange to use it on cabbages first, he was sure that it would be tons of fun for the two. Kenny nodded as he spoke about doing quest together, “I’d like that a lot brother, nothing beats doing quest with a good friend, helps you get loose and build stronger friendships.” he looked at his empty bowls of rice, how much did he eat? Yet he was still hungry, he picked up a few bread rolls and bit into them all at once as he chewed fiercely, “Ya ever been to Oak? It’s pretty wild over there ha ha, wouldn’t recommend it. Then again some baddy might try to recruit ya and you’ll end up smacking them around.” Kenny was already lit up like a christmas pine tonight, he had done some drinking after arriving back in Hargeon and the night was fairly young as he sipped down all of the liquid courage he could, it was mostly rum and ham, but he kept consistent in his drinking at least picking up his fourth beer. “Hey, on top of getting those cabbages we should go find a bar and just pick up all of the liquor we can it’ll be awesome.” he snickered, “Who knows maybe some ladies will see our moves and we can show off.” What went better than a giant, a hedonist, and pointy weapons? A giant, hedonist, a pointy weapon and karate on fruits and vegetables!

Was it really safe to drink while they were messing around with the scythe, probably not, but Jeeroy had never said that he was smart. He was a man! Though it did not seem like it most of the time. Finally the piece de resistance had come out, a nice succulent looking ham was placed in front of Kenny, he pulled out a sack of jewels and told the waitress to keep change, she was a nice girl, really nice heh. He cracked his knuckles and picked up his ham as he nodded to Jeeroy, “Yeah, I ate so much that I probably got double the energy! Woo!” Kenny rolled his knuckled of his non ham holding hand looking around the restaurant as they got ready to go. “Alright, we’re gonna grab some salad man, make salad and hopefully not toss it… Unless yur into that, some chicks are into that!” he held his ham close, before they got going he ran into the nearest bar at the back of the restaurant and brought out a bottle of rum and held it up, “Eyyy, he looked up at Jeeroy. Alright man so basically right, the farmers market has this guy that is always up at night selling his cabbages, like him and a couple of other sales men they stay out all day and night selling mostly because they live in town and junk.” he explained pointing at the heart of town. “We gonna go and grab some, or buy some maybe… I don’t know but it’ll be awesome!”

"We will buy them." Jeeroy muttered, narrowing his eyes at the man. He was not going to be doing anything illegal around the Rune Knight, or at least he hoped he would not. He would not like to take his new friend to jail on the same night they were supposed to be having fun. It had been a while since he had been out with someone just to mess around and honestly he missed it vastly. Gathering all of his things, he began walking towards the door, waiting on the man to lead him towards the farmer's market. They stopped off at a bar and got a bottle of whiskey before heading that way, soon making it. Jeeroy would gather a lot of cabbages and pay the man still selling them before he would carry them to an open area behind the market itself. It looked like the best place to try his weapon out. He set one of the cabbages on the ground and pulled out his weapon before taking a wide swing and ripping the cabbage into shreds with a battle cry. It was truly a beautiful sight to see the weapon cut through it so easily.

Kenny nodded, “Sure, we can buy ‘em, better than steallin’ any way.” he chuckled with has hands behind his back, well ham and rum behind his back, this was going to be a blast. More than a blast this was gonna be AWESOME in the purest form of the word. Kenny took a bite out of a loose slab of ham and took a waterfall of his rum. It wasn’t as good as normal rum ham, but it would do for now, wasn’t like he was in any rush to get home and cook another. Jeeroy grabbed quite a few cabbages, Kenny bought a pumpkin, and a couple of other veggies to fix their salad. “Maaan this is gonna be sweet.” he chuckled, when they got to the clearing the would soon begin. He watched Jeeroy swiftly cut the cabbages up making it rain leaves, Kenny caught a few in his mouth and placed his veggies on the ground, “Woo! But man, ya gotta practice for moving targets!” he placed his rum and ham on a nearby bench, “Like I’ll toss one at you and shit.” he picked up a cabbage along with a tomato, he hopped a few yards away from jeeroy and cocked the two food items back, “Quick! A surprise attack by some thugs!” he threw the items at the giant as hard as he could.

"I heard 'em talkin' bout ya giant mama."

I have to move in the morning." He muttered with a fake yawn. Gathering the rest of his belongings. "If you would like, I am moving to Marigold to do some jobs. Feel free to come along." With those last words, he headed towards his home where he could shower off the tomato juice and the smell of alcohol.
