Houren Vanadis
The winds of change had changed direction and the Fire Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail knew that it was time for him to, ironically, leave the town where his guild was situated. It wouldn't be long before Cell officially announced the opening of his Cell Games, and fortunately, he had already disclosed the details, in particular where the games were to be held. In that respect, the Fire Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail was given more than ample time to travel to the Sieghart Mountains where the games were to take place, and stay there until they did officially start. The amount of time needed to travel up there was variable, and it was worth noting that depending on weather conditions and whether or not you were waylaid by bandits and stuff, it could easily take up to over a week. It was pointless if, by the time Houren arrived on the scene, the Games were already over. He wasn't scared that Cell would defeat all the best fighters of Fiore; the fucker had a hard enough time getting the better of him, and he could hardly call himself one of the top fighters in the country, not just yet, anyway. In that respect, Houren knew that there was at least a dozen mages in Fiore who could make easy work out of Cell, but damn it, he wanted to be involved in putting that green freak in his place. He didn't need to deal the finishing blow or play some sort of big part, he just wanted to contribute, as both a citizen and a former victim; otherwise, how could he get closure from the time Cell had attacked him before?

Sure, that big green freak had managed to up one Houren for a little bit, and reached his final form. Certainly, in this form, he was much stronger than before, but at the same time, the Fire Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail did not believe for even a second that he would lose to the same opponent twice. And even when you considered all of that, Houren Vanadis would not be fighting alone this time; surely, there were other bold men and women in Fiore who were irked by Cell's demeaning comments and wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine. Of course, the Fire Dragon Slayer was reminded of that other girl who had been with him during the fight against Cell, but her involvement in the fight had been slim, and he could barely remember her. If Houren was in her shoes though, he definitely would be making his way to Sieghart Mountains right about now, to show Cell that he had much more to offer.

The Fire Dragon Slayer could see the mountains in the distance now, the fabled mountains of old w here he had heard so many stories such as the one where they said that an old hermit lived in the mountains, one who was incredibly skilled at crafting weapons. There were many legendary or unique level weapons drifting around in the country of Fiore, and this particular hermit blacksmith was supposedly responsible for at least half of them. Or perhaps that was just a tale that people told, such as the story of Prester John, the zealot king? Houren didn't know, but while he was here, he might as well look around to try and find out. He checked his provisions and noticed that he had quite a bit left, much more than enough to survive a week here in these mountains and besides, Nanuq Town was close and he could always go back there in less than a day to restock if he ever felt like he was dropping low on provisions.
