Magic Description: Heavenly Body Magic is a powerful form of Light Magic which enables the user to wield the properties of many astronomical objects, focused heavily within offensive, supplementary, and buffing capabilities. Utilizing astronomical objects such as meteors or the generation and manipulation of the energy of stars, the user can create powerful light blasts or beams of highly destructive power. Utilizing this power, reminiscent of starlight, the user is able to shroud themselves in magic, thereby enabling them to increase their speed significantly, as well as utilize advanced flight capabilities, enabling the user to fly at twice the height than that of what regular magic allows for.

Advantage: Supplementary-type flight spells have double the maximum height limit.

Enhancements: Double Elemental Enhancement - Fire.

Effect: The user clenches their hand into a claw to cast this spell before pulling their arm back into them, a magic circle will appear at the user’s hand until ball of flames grows from his palm up to 1 meter in diameter though can be flexibly changed to any size between that and 0.25 meters. This ball can then be “thrown” at the target where upon hitting the target it will explode into a ball of fire that’s 4 meters in diameter. This ball can be manipulated at the user’s discretion for twice the mana cost by directing the ball through hand motions.

Upon being struck by either of the affected hands the target will receive B-Rank fire-based Magic Damage, these fires will then disperse otherwise the spell will be sustained at the user's discretion.

Effect: The user places their hand in front of them and creates a Black Hole with a diameter of 5 meters. This Black Hole absorbs incoming spells after which it closes. Either the user can close it instantly after absorbing spells in the same post, or the spell is forcefully shut down after it has absorbed its maximum defensive power. Because it is a Light-type spell, Nature-type spells will of course cause it to shutdown quicker due to their overpowering nature.

White Hole

Effect: The user places their hand in front of them and creates a White Hole with a diameter of 5 meters. This White Hole shoots out the spells which had been absorbed by the Black Hole at the target. While it is a Light-type A-rank spell, the damage sent out by this spell can be varied based on what had been absorbed by the Black Hole; i.e., even multiple types of elements is possible. Also, since the Black Hole is a Defensive-type spell, it could absorb more than just A-rank, increasing the White Hole's damage potential to beyond A-rank.

They then teleport to a location which they can access and is not further away than 600 words of traveling from their current location. When using Instant Transmission the reductions for traveling are not applied to the 600 words. The user must use this spell in a topic. At the cost of 600 more mana, they may bring one extra person with them if they touch them with their other hand for at least 5 seconds. If the user or the other person still has ongoing topics in the other location (socials, quests), they may still roleplay in them to conclude them but they may no longer create new topics in the previous location since from this moment on they're considered to be in the new location they've teleported to. The user and the other person may start traveling and even create new topics to roleplay in at the new location as long as it doesn't exceed their maximum topic limit.

APPEARANCE


Height: 5'4" | 1.6 m

Weight: 121 Lbs | 54.8 kg

Hair: Red

Eyes: Amber-red

Overall: Iris is a slight girl who often keeps her hair in to two long pony tails, tying them at the base and middle to give sections to the tails so that her hair doesn't get all over the place. She normally wears a turtle neck style undershirt with some sort of outwear with cutouts in it. Tights around her legs are her preference. She does tend to dress for the weather of the region.

Extra: Most notable is the pair of magical cuffs around her wrists like bracelets, able to link together at command of a rune knight.

PERSONALITY



Iris is someone that used to put on a brave face, and a smile, with every thing she did, even while working for the thieves' guild, she would get to the small jobs with the ut most glee, trying to be as happy as possible to not let anything she was doing get her down!

She was social, she was able to be comedic, she was able to just let her hair down so to speak, until she had to start paying off what she didn't owe, and the amount was so vast, she never had the means to pay it off.

She drifted slowly, secluding herself more often, smiling less, shutting down. She became someone different from her former self, an entirely different person who worked day to day to try and squirrel away money, paying off what she could and hiding other bits. Becoming a miser, paranoid, she finally broke.

After that, she had come under the custody of the rune knights after being framed by her former employers. Becoming bitter, callous and stoic, she would remain stone faced in the most severe of situations while just going about her task to work off a criminal debt, so she could go back to working off another debt.

The stress made her sleep less, become more irritable, disdainful. Until she was finally freed from the grasp of the rune knights thanks to an adoption.

Now, she makes her time to try and learn to be a better person, trying to smile again, though, she still remains as blunt as ever most times.

LIKES & DISLIKES,



Likes:


  • Apples: Iris adores apples, served any one way or another. Savory, sweet, bitter, sour, even stuffed with something else, apples are just the best to Iris.

  • Fireplaces/pits/works: Whatever it is being used on, fire in a pit, place or on works, she enjoys seeing how it can appear to her, and the warmth that it provides, either metaphorical in her heart, or literal as she cozies up with a book or some over the fire snacks.

  • Sleep: Iris is a big fan of getting sleep whenever she can, having spent a lot of her life getting restless nights, or uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, any time she can get a real bed, she tends to cry herself to sleep happily.


Dislikes:


  • Onions: Ever since someone painted an onion to look like an apple and she bit in to it, expecting a nice juicy snack, only to get the worst kind of pungent taste, Iris has hated onions with a genocidal passion for the "Devil's Fruit".

  • Early mornings: When you spend a majority of your time on night runs and night jobs, you tend to sleep in a lot, so waking up when the sun still isn't up is like a mortal sin to Iris.

  • Rune Knights: Iris is not a fan of them at all. In fact, she would rather leave them and be her own person, alas, she's their prisoner, framed for a crime she didn't do, and subjected to torment, ridicule, and persecution on a day to day basis. It's understandable why she has developed an utter mistrust and hatred toward anyone that claims to be a rune knight.


MOTIVATIONS &
FEARS



Motivations:


  • Personal freedom: Iris wants to be free, free of her debt, free of the rune knights, free to be her own person, and free from the Cait Sith Heist guild. To just, be her own person. If she even knows how to do that.

  • ???: Something will be here when she finds fulfillment with her first motivation


Fears:


  • Sensory deprivation: Iris is deathly afraid of losing any of her senses, viewing them as vital to her particular type of magic, she has small episodes of panic even if there is no sound, preferring to have a lacrima with noise inside of it at her night stand

  • Deadlines: Slightly irrational, tying back to her fear of the deadline imposed upon her by the Cait Sith. If she doesn't meet it, she's going to be "repossessed". She's got it out for anything with a deadline, to the point that it stresses her out and she gets less done.

HISTORY



Born in Enca, Iris was born to a family that she wouldn't get to know beyond the age of ten. But, the time she got to spend with her family in that frame, it was kind, it was caring, it stood out a little on the weird side. Her family was linked to the underbelly of Enca, a thieves' guild they were a part of. Much like the guilds all over Earthland, they would operate in a big crime family, working off a debt from an ancestor and enjoying the life of luxury, of course, when they tried to sneak off with more money than their employers liked, they were swiftly done away with, leaving iris to operate their 'day job' shop.

Inheriting the debt of someone she hardly knew, beyond filial relation, and having to work like this, she wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, she wanted to go live her life away from all the crime and such. Not old enough for thief work, her debt would accrue more and more interest. From ten to fourteen years old, she would get treated to all sorts of unsavory tasks and people to work with when she was of age. And that continued for three years.

Having lived as a thief, and having earned some money she hid on the side, she sought to make an escape with a rare artifact, something that allowed permeation through physical and magical boundaries. Utilizing it to flee her town, flee the country, and make it to Fiore, she would be caught with a failsafe curse, and set up as someone who had stolen great treasures, turned over to the rune knights. Implicated, framed, and given a message in secret, Iris has to find her means of freedom from the rune knights, and her debt, before her former employers seek her out to drag her back home for a forced wedding!
