Snowflake

Eternal Winter

To be honest, Snowflake was rather surprised to see demons still wandering on the land of Fiore, despite having all the demonic rifts closed and all – well, most – of the demons slayed. She wasn’t sure as to how they even survived so long out on a completely different land but anyhow, the good news was that they had been defeated already. Albeit, she did wonder if there were any weakling demons left on any part of the town, and if so, she just hoped there are mages alike who could take responsibility of it.

Snowflake was observant to many things, and one thing she noticed in this mission was that her partnership with Manzo today turned out to be very well-rewarding and entertaining in a way. Despite not being much of a talker, she could say that she enjoyed her time with the fellow Pegasus, even if it resulted in staining her most favourite cloak in blood at the end of the day. Out of all the men that she had met, he was one of the very few that she could withstand being around, and he didn’t seem to mind much about her own cold personality, which many guys she encountered abhorred. That – she could understand, especially if you’re talking to a girl who seemed dead to you; without any facial expressions and good enough responses whatsoever.

Perhaps she should have been slightly more social during the time they were on the caravan, though she wasn’t here for chitchat, but to fulfill a mission that was sent to her by Belladonna. Speaking of which, she needed to have a word with her regarding this: to not sent her off into any ridiculous missions like these, at least have the decency to include more details than just sending her away without not so much of a word.

The woman couldn’t help but laugh at herself recalling the first time the two had met when she had haphazardly broke his nose with a rock. It truly wasn’t her intentions, though it did leave quite a memorable yet, funny recollection to her. Yes, she was eavesdropping on the conversation albeit, it wasn’t as though she was doing it on purpose as they were literally chatting just around the caravan, where she could hear almost perfectly.

”Well well, old man. Have you not had enough of talking shit about me?” she walked up over to him and pierced him through her frozen gaze. ”Next time you need any assistance from Blue Pegasus, I’ll be the first one to take it.” She paused, taking in a deep breath before letting out the steam that she had been holding within. ”So, that I can shove my spear up where the sun doesn’t shine. Have a good day,” the hunter rested her palm onto his shoulder, gripping it tightly and it seemed that her remark had left the owner of the caravan completely speechless.

The maiden turned towards her partner, and despite the changes that was brought to his features from the potion, it still hinted her that he was still the Manzo that she’d met before – from his scarlet eyes and the kindness that he has brought upon her. ”It was lovely working with you too. And, thank you. I’ll be sure to visit the bar next time.” With that, she bid farewell to the man, before departing to tend to her own duties.
