Miles Nakamura
He stood there silently, having his arms crossed. The lightning mage was waiting to hear some answers. So far, nothing. The waiting room was full of mothers, fathers, and plenty of commoners and all walks of life. Miles paid no attention. When he heard what had happened. He as heart broken. Miles grew angry at himself for not doing something. For not being there to protect her, but he knew that she was capable of defending herself as well. He couldn't step in when it could only make things worse. The only thing he could do was help from afar.

He stood against the wall, looking out of the large, wall-sized window. His thoughts were only on her. She was emitted into the hospital right after being found. "Scold was right...we really are cursed" he spoke. It made his blood boil that he agreed on something htat his rival, full of hatred, had spoken.

"The Nakamura family is cursed! Just think, your Aunt and cousin were kidnapped, your favorite little redhead gains an illness that not even the most knowledgeable scholars can figure out, your little sister dies, and your mother has grown ill. Your family is really cursed"

Of course, his mother was fine now, but still. The face that all this had happened and a mere noble told him all of this. Yes, they were both of the same social status, but not all noble families agreed with his. Only his half-brother, Leon's family, understood. To be specific, his mother's side of the family. Leon was a fire mage and looked much like their mother. Though, he was adopted into the Nakamura family only recently. That story would be saved for another day.

Kazimir had a brief window of time off after his last mission on the farm. He took this chance to visit the hospital and pay her a visit. He arrived as the sun was at midday. It was a mix of despair for those that were ill and who had passed, with hope from those given a new chance at life and good health. Hospitals were always a sight to see. In his home village they only had the magic healers and shamans to treat them. Nothing like the formal setting of what was here. Perhaps he had truly missed out on much of the ins and outs of life by growing up in such an isolated place.

His shoes clacked on the ground and he tightened the scarf around his neck, mostly out of habit when entering somewhere new. He scanned the room seeing the usual groups of people aside from one person that stood out from the rest. He stood stern and quiet, no doubt waiting impatiently for something, anything.

The wind mage had no reason to speak to him and instead went straight to the desk.

"How is she doing?"
he asked knowing the staff were aware of who he meant. After all they were both knights and she was a famous one at that.

"Ah you are here for Ms..."
the receptionists voice trailed of for a second as she flipped through the charts looking for the right name. The wind mage waited in silence but it was uneasy. there was something that lingered in the air. He couldn't place it though.

The lightning mage lied against the wall, listening to the receptionist flip through her book. It was full of paitents who checked in and out of the hospital. His cousin was towards the end since she had just came in due to injuries from unknown. He guess another job gone wrong, nothing new. Though, his father, Simon, had come on a short notice. Miles looked back as the receptionist made a "Ah-ha!" moment.

"Ms. Nakamura! She is in room 202, but visits will be close for the time being, since she is under surgery at the moment. Please wait in the waiting room til' further notice."

Miles watched Kazimir leave, growing a grudge of hatred for wanting to see his little cousin. Slowly, he growled not wanting any confrontation as she sourly stared at him. The lightning mage caved in and made his way over to Kazimir. "What's your business into seeing LeeAnn" he scowled. He towered over Kazimir staring down upon him. "I would be careful if I were you, many people are protective of her. You have to prove your worth to them" he said.

"I'm from the Nakamura family. What do you want with her" he asked once more, this time more serious.

Kazimir sighed as the receptionist said she was in surgery but met her with a nod of appreciation for her time. "Thank you, I'll wait over there," he replied before walking away. He took a seat that was a bit farther away from the others that waited and hoped it wouldn't take too long. It wasn't long ago that he was here nursing his own injuries back to health.

The seat was as cold as ever. The hard floors less forgiving in the chilly atmosphere. He never understand why places like this had to be so cold. Rustling backward in his chair, he finally settled in and closed his eyes. Seemingly trying to meditate while he waited for his name to be called. He wished he had some tea right about now.

The moment of impatient tranquility was lost as a man's voice shattered the silence. It was a condescending tone and one that came with the hint of a threat. Someone family with LeeAnn and not to happy about him being there. Kazimir didn't appreciate the tone he was met with nor the questioning. he had no idea who this man was or what his intentions were. Before he responded the wind mage felt a stirring of wrath inside of him. A feeling not quite his own. Foreign and yet apart of him.

Curving the new impulse within him he didn't even face the man at first and simply revealed his rune knight badge hoping that would answer all the inquiries the man had. After all it was natural for rune knights to worry about each other. Once he revealed the badge he looked up at the man standing above him.

The man's voice became much more serious as he proclaimed himself to be a Nakamura. 'Where do they all keep coming from,' the wind mage thought to himself.

Kazimir politely gestured to the seat next to him, "We're partners. You're welcome to sit and wait here if you want. But I am actually in a but of a hurry. I'll come back later."

He stepped up and calmly walked by the man to leave and come back at a later time.
