Sage †
It was dark at first, then it reached twilight, the silver lining of the sky could be seen as the blanket of darkness was met with the sun's shining ray that painted a part of the sky orange. It was a beautiful scene. Sage breathed in the fresh morning air. The concentration of oxygen during the morning was higher than throughout the day, this is because during the night, plants can't photosynthesize because there was no light. But when morning reaches and sunlight started to bath the chlorophyll with its ever radiant light energy, it started to produce oxygen. It produce more oxygen as it has more starch which were unused during the night. Sage had learn this basic knowledge of plants and photosynthesis when he was a kid back in Caelum, where he used to spend most of his free times in the library reading almost all the books inside it. Although some of the inofrmations in the library clashed each other out Sage could still find the right answer because he wasn't shy to ask others about matters like that. When he was a kid he was so innocent and pure he didn't even know what anxiety and awkwardness was. That was until he reached puberty and hormones were blasted into his blood, causing him to be emotional about every single thing that touched him or was sensed by his stimuli, although sweets did calm him down a lot. Now he was standing in the running tracks of Orichidia, his intention was to exercise.

He started to jog slowly down the street, there wasn't a lot of people because Sage was early. Well he wanted it that way because later he wanted to train his spells. His magic was quite rusty and so he decided to sharpen his spell casting abilities. As a holy knight it was his duty to protect others and he must get stronger. Living in a world of magic he must harness that knowledge into use as it was one of the most powerful thing that one could attain. He then jogged up a hill, increasing his speed a little so that he could beat the force of gravity that was pulling him down. He needed to put his body into shape, his magic, especially his magic, requires a strong physique to begin with so that light could be attracted to him and therefore when light is concentrated between his cells he would be provided with more energy. Plus he love to get in shape, not using magic when facing off enemies or fighting in a duel is an achievement that couldn't be explained by words. He just love it when he accomplish things by his own. But he was beginning to accept that magic is a part of him. More the reason he wanted to train his spells that day. He jogged past a few people and with instinct he smiled and waved at them, while his breath was still puffing due to him exercising.

Sage †
Some of the people he waved and smiled at looked at him weird at first but then grinned and waved at him back. While some others were cool and simply wave back as they jog on. Sage was a natural social animal and he tend to do this type of things without even realizing it. But he was happy to do so, putting a smile on other people's face. Some might say stuff like who would put a smile on his face then but he didn't bother about something like that. Putting a smile on other's faces makes him smile already and that was enough. One thing that he wanted humans to learn so bad was gratitude. Most of them seemed to lack it so badly that Sage didn't know how to put it. Then while he jogged, something stopped him. His sweat fell forward due to the sudden stop and his hair swayed forward then back onto its normal position. Sage's magenta eyes was locked on something, a banner showing a carnival was portrayed and it seemed to attract Sage's attention. He didn't know why but his intuition told him to go into the carnival. he walked in, he believes in his intuition more than anything, it had brought him fun times and away from death even. Some might think that intuition is something reckless, he didn't think so, as his experience proved otherwise.

He entered the carnival and spotted a few events going on here and there. The colorful lights blinked and fun music played in the background of the scene. When he looked at it closely, he didn't reealize that Orichidia had a carnival this big in the first place. he grinned with his childish baby face look. He hadn't had so much fun before, even being there made him feel excited and happy. It was time for him to put his speed, strength and wit into action. Despite wearing a sweater and a sweatpants he still decided to join the carnival anyway. Plus it looked fun and nothing could go wrong when there are balloons, cotton candies, unicorns, couples, laughter and so much more around you right? He strode his way into the depths of the carnival, not looking back even a single time, captured by the sparkling beauty of the fun and delight of the carnival. But little did he know something bad was gonna happen. It was clear that it made totally no sense at all that there was a loud and bright carnival in Orichidia. He had fallen into a trap, but who would do so? Plus were the people around Sage real or do they belong with the carnival, destined to manipulate and deceive Sage? Amidst the chaotic environment of the carnival, a shadow lurked behind one of the carnival's booth, a wide grin appeared across his face revealing the pointy tooth he had, its surface yellow and wasn't smooth. It's red eyes gleamed with excite and joy as he looked at Sage.

Sage †
Sage walked to a booth with a cotton candy machine at the front. He skipped towards the booth, his hair swayed froth and back as he skipped. The warm smile he had stayed intact on his face and his eyes were sparkling with excitement. A bored looking teenage redhead appeared from behind the booth and looked at Sage with his expressionless face, freckles were all over his face and his red hair was messy, he wore a white hat with stripes of pink, which matched his white uniform with pink lines on it as a design. "A cone please!" Sage asked with excitement, while reaching for his pockets so he could pay for the cotton candy. The red head teen looked at him with boredom and said with an autonomous tone, "We don't accept money here." he said as he figured already that Sage would pay with money like normal people would but this carnival was no normal carnival and Sage seemed to not be aware of this yet. Sage was confused, he raised his eyebrows and the happy go lucky aura from him vanished as his common sense knocked in. "What do you mean you don't accept money? What else do you accept?" Sage asked with a confused tone, he was raising his tone a bit as he said it because he did not see any tags laying around somewhere around the booth or at any other of the booths. Sage looked left and right at the other booths, looking at the people that were buying other stuffs from the other booths. He looked closely, and closer.

Then it hits him, they were paying through blood. It shocked him so hard he froze there, looking as a teenage girl leaned into one of the staffs of the booths. The staff closed into the girl's neck and set his teeth onto it, sucking the blood out of the girl. After a few while, the girl and the staff went back into their normal standing position and froze. They then turned to Sage with a glowing look and an evil smile. Their fangs bared and their face was thirsty to suck on some of his blood. He went from shocked to pale, he didn't know what happened, but he knew he need to fight. But unluckily, he forgot to bring his sword, which means he needed to use his hands, his bare hands to defeat these blood sucking creatures. Sweat started to trickle down his forehead and he turned his face back to the red head who was standing only a couple meters away from him. Sage took one step back, the teen who was emotionless now was grinning from ear to ear, revealing his bare fangs, his eyes looked delighted and hungry for some fresh blood. The red head blood sucking creature then pounced towards Sage. Sage's magenta eyes was lost, he was sweating uncontrollably, his legs were shaking. But with instinct, as the creature pounced on him, he punched the creature.

Sage †
The punch was hard enough to throw the blood sucking creature a few meters away from him that it landed on another booth and destroyed it. Sage wasn't sure if it was his raw strength or did it come because of his fear. Everybody in the carnival stopped in their tracks and they looked at the now knocked out blood sucking creature laying unconscious on top of a destroyed booth. The music stopped, the laughter ended and every machine seemed to stop moving. Sage looked around, his sweat trickled down his forehead, his heart pumped several times faster than normal, his eyes was filled with fear and it seemed like he was ready for any attack. The whole carnival froze and they all turned towards Sage, facing him with their emotionless gaze. Then they all in unison, grinned from ear to ear, showing their sharp fangs. Sage cursed inside his breath but he could not let this be the end. He has to fight all of them off. He brought his hand over to his left chest, the place where his heart was. He then chanted, his expression serious and he didn't want to play around anymore. That same day he just woke up from bed like any other day and jogged as any other day too, but for some reason that day was somewhat peculiar. Sage grinned, he then realized that he could have some fun while he was fighting all the creatures that were attacking him. He suddenly felt the adrenaline coursing through his veins. His pulp widened and his breathes intensified.

There were a herd of demons in front of him and he was legally allowed to slay each one of them. He then grinned after realizing that he could go all out against these creatures. With his hand over his heart he chanted with full of spirit, "Armis! Patientia! Celeritas! Viribus!" as he chanted the words one by one, golden magic circles appeared beneath him all at once and it glowed radiantly, making all the demons stopped in their tracks as they were blinded by the astonishingly bright light. Then the bright ligh faded, the demons turned their heads toward the direction the light came from and they could see Sage, menace in his magenta eyes, he had a devilish grin and his body glowed brightly with yellow aura. Sage clenched his fist and lunged towards the demons. he punched one of the demons and they dissipated that easily. Sage smirked as he realized this as he gave the demons around him a three hundred and sixty angle kick like he was dancing hip hop, he is really flexible thanks to his light weight and dense muscles. Acrobats are his thing and it helped him so much in a fight. But then he realized something that could end him. It was the number of the demons. They seem to keep spawning even though Sage had destroyed many of them, he didn't know when it will end and he must do something about it or not it could be the end of him. He was too young to actually be gone, he kept fighting with his body but also with his mind, thinking of a way to defeat all of the demons.

Sage †
He swung his fist at the demons again, and he was ready to lunge again, he dashed forward with his arms open at his side, his fists clenched and his muscles tensed. It dissipated almost all the demons he walked through, it then gave him a thought after noticing this incident. If he was faster than the demons, he could knock most of them out without having the chance to get really hurt by them. This went over his head as he swung his fist at the demons, turning and moving his body so that he could hit them and at the same time avoid them. But he then realized that there were still too many of them. He then let out a slight cry as he could feel something sharp being stabbed on his neck, it was one of the demons. he could feel as if his life force was being taken away from him. The demon that sank his fang on him wrapped his arms around Sage and it seemed like he was stronger than him. Sage struggled, but he wasn't strong enough. He brought his hand towards his chest and shouted, "Viribus!", a magic circle now appeared again beneath him and it left Sage with even a brighter yellow aura. Sage now broke free easily, however his neck was still injured by the bite. He then placed his hands again on his chest, his eyes furious. "Celeritas Maxima!" and an even brighter magic circle appeared beneath him. It left Sage with a radiant yellow aura around him.

He then lunged at an incredible speed that the demons didn't have the time to react, he moved swiftly and took down the demons one by one at an incredible speed. The momentum he builds as he ran among the demons knocked most of them down, he was a streak of bright yellow light that was destroying the demons. As he took almost all of the demons, it began to grew quieter, Sage gasped, he wanted to breathe for as much air as possible. He panted as he stopped running. Sweat trickled down his forehead. He looked around, the booths of the carnival and all the entertainments were destroyed and there were nobody there. Sage wondered where he was. What just happened and why. He looked around, looking for any clues that could at least answer one of his questions. Then he felt the earth shook, as if a big force had hit it. He turned around and dust were flying everywhere, he closed his eyes with his hands until the dusts all the view was clear again. He could see a big red demon, standing at 10 feet tall, his eyes were completely black and his build looks strong. Sage clenched his teeth making a sound that would indicate he was annoyed by this. "What do you want?" Sage asked with intimidation. The demon chuckled, probably because of how a baby faced man like Sage could say such thing to him.

Sage †
The demon then looked down at Sage. Sage couldn't help it but to gaze into the black pitch of the demon's eyes. The demon then swung his fist onto Sage and it was too quick for Sage to notice that it hit him directly. The force behind the punch was too big it crashed Sage into the ground, creating cracks around it and a big crater too. Sage clenched his teeth and he made the "tch" sound. He was laying on the ground, his nose was bleeding and there were red spots all over his body. But he stood up as if nothing had happened. He looked at the demon's black pitch eyes directly but his magenta eyes were more intimidating as there were a hidden force that laid behind it. An emotion so strong it invoke fear into the enemies' hearts. Sage brought his hand to his chest and chanted, "Celeritas Maxima," his tone serious, he wasn't shouting nor whispering. But his eyes were dead serious. The demon hesitated a bit, he felt weird as he hadn't felt intimidated ever in his time of being alive. Sage now has radiant aura around his body, there were flares of prominence around it too, but it wasn't fire. It was condensed light force that supplied strength to Sage. His speed was increased, he dashed forward and the demon couldn't catch up with Sage's movements. Sage appeared in front of the demon's eyes suddenly and gave him a roundhouse kick so strong it threw the demon on the ground. Sage then landed on the ground again, his face still dead serious.

The demon shouted in wrath, he couldn't believe he was beaten by a kid looking mage. He stood up and jumped towards the sky with his large wings and he dived to where Sage was standing. Demons are strong, but sometimes they are not that quick witted and could be defeated easily by using a strong strategy. But in this case Sage didn't need any strategy as it was pretty much very clear on what he should do. As the demon dived towards Sage he jumped away so quicky that the demon didn't notice it, and by the time he did, Sage was next to his face and gave him another roundhouse kick, making him thrown away to the side of the battlefield. the demon hadn't fell to the ground yet but still Sage could catch up with him due to his speed, he kicked and punched the demon, changing his position again from time to time. Then the demon dissipated, Sage landed on the ground with a thud. His bright yellow aura then vanished, he dropped to the ground sitting down, he was quite tired as he had used a lot of his mana already. The destroyed carnival then started to disintegrate like paper being burnt. Then there was a bright flash, it was so bright Sage closed his eyes and covered it with his palm. After he felt like it was gone he opened his eyes again, peeking through the partings of his fingers. He was sitting at the street where he was jogging. He looked around and the circus wasn't there anymore. But his clothes were ragged and he got bruises everywhere. He tried to stand up but it hurts a little, although he mustered all his strength to walk, he walked towards his motel room. The people passing by looked at him with curiosity and Sage could tell they were worried about him as his condition was so bad, he then collapsed and everything went dark. He then woke up in a hospital. he thanked the couple who brought him there and spent a few nights at the hospital due to his severe condition. After a few days, he checked out of the hospital and thanked all the nurses and the doctors that helped him. He walked back towards his motel room and found a weird note.
