Alisa

WORDS: 250 | TAG: @baron | ALISA

In the end, she didn't have to keep the old lady company for too long, Baron did his part in the job and did it well, and before long, they had each said their goodbyes and the two Pegasi went off on their own way. Not a bad start for a full day of work:

"Mmmm, Mrs Noran's cookies always hit the spot~...", Alisa praised, stepping out of the house beside Baron, taking a deep breath and stretching her arms left, right, and finally upwards, enough for her breasts to strain the confines of her white jacket, feeling almost like she'd just woken up from a nice, long nap. Her gruff partner had gone well above the line of duty in bringing her son in instead of just leaving him to his own devices. Though not a completely stone cold bastard, it most certainly didn't hurt to carry him as soon as possible, "Well done fetching her son from his bar by the way, I'm sure that saved a lot of time."

With her coin purse a tad bit fatter and her magic power a tiny bit thicker - barely unnoticeably so - Alisa took a moment to look at her guildmate and smile, turning her torso slightly in his direction, glancing down towards her jacket:

"Now as for the mission I was actually taking you on...", as she said this, Alisa fetched the sheet of paper from one of the pockets on her right side. She already got a good idea where she was going, but reading it again sufficied to memorize the address, giving Baron the briefing sheet once she was done with it, "Apparently they need us to investigate a plant...", her quirked brow betrayed a hint of confusion but in the end she shrugged and lead the way, pointing towards the beanstalk sticking out like a sore thumb, right in the middle of town, "...Well, that plant to be more specific..."

Baron
Baron had an arm full of cookies and a pocket full of jewels. It was a wonderful time to be him, he was following Alisa closely once again. Something about her reminded him of someone he used to hold dear, she was beautiful, kind and delightful in more ways than he could count. He didn’t mind this, no, but every time he heard he speak he had to remember that the girl he thought he loved was gone for what may be forever. Rather she went to a different city or was really just gone he didn’t know but he wanted to at least do better by her wherever she was. he would just have to deal with things until he could finish his plan.

Baron narrowed his eyes at the bean stalk she mentioned and his face scrunched into confusion, “What? Like, are we supposed to push it down? Eat it? Move it? investigate it? Hey did I tell you about the lady that taught me about noodles?” his mind quickly got side tracked.

“She had purple hair and the widest hips! It was like I was training but it felt sooooo good.” he chuckled to himself, rather or not Alisa was interested was beyond him but he felt the need to talk about it for some reason and at this point she was enough of a friend for him to share his past at this point. “She was also the reason I wans’t allowed to be a knight anymore.”

Alisa

WORDS: 650 | TAG: @baron | ALISA

"That is a very good question Baron, though I'm sure we'll have to wait and see.", she added, nodding all too seriously, narrowing her eyes as she pondered the options he suggested, "Real issue here is doing this without having Blue Pegasus fined for demolishing a whole town under a colossal beanstalk. He'd really milked the hell out of that reward, hoarding so many cookies even Kanna could only chuckle at the sight, though far more so at the women he mentioned, "I have a couple friends like that... Though only one of them might have costed you your nighthood... As well as taught you something so... Salacious?"

Added Alisa, raising an eyebrow and thinking back to Asmodeus, doubting Arisa would ever go on about slurping noodles in any sense but the literal one, though she made it a point to ask the Demon Lord about exact what shenanigans she'd been getting up to... That was... After getting done with this mission at least:

"Ah, here for the job request are you...? Name's Inspector Nilan, good to meet the ones here to take care of our little beanstalk problem.", the man greeted, all to radiantly, all but wiping stray beads of sweat off his forehead. Clearly this problem has been eating away at him for a while.

No point asking how he knew who they were, Alisa had a fair amount of visibility by now, enough that a law enforcement official could easily recognize her as the Ace of Blue Pegasus. And a tough looking guy like Baron walking side by side with her? He obviously had to be part of the same team. After names and pleasantries had been exchanged, the sculptress merely crossed her arms, cocking her hip to one side with grace and poise, furrowing her brow as she imagined the colossal plant they'd have to bring down. How the hell had they let it grow this big right in the middle of town was a whole other question altogether, no doubt explained with a lack of foresight if not incompetence. But that was a whole other problem... Eventually, those plush, shimmering lips parted once more as those wine red eyes glanced down into the good cop's:

"Surely you must have though of this...", she began, hand drifting up to her chin, as if pondering on a solution even as she illustrated the problem, "Toppling a beastalk this massive might amount to a hefty sum of property damage... Possibly casualties as well."

Baron
Baron had changed his ways a bit since he met her and when Alisa had mentioned that one of her friends may have costed him his knighthood he gasped. Could that have been so? If she knew the girl that costed him his job it would have been nice to see her again, mostly so he could try to go again with her and see if that helped him get his magic back or atleast helped him get past the block he had been feeling since he turned into a werewolf. It was sort of crazy... All he did was have himself get mixed up with someone and before he knew it he was out.

He looked up at the beanstalk, “We’ll talk about that friend of yours at a later time then.” he crossed his arms as a male entered their scene, he seemed to be distraught about the beanstalk, “Fenrir- Err, Baron I mean nice to meet you.” he continued to look up at the hulking plant, “And she’s right, even if we knock it down there’s no telling how much damage could happen unless you guys have a giant or a few giants?” he tapped his chin, now that he thought about it a giant probably could yank that thing out of the ground with ease.

Then again a giant would have a hard time navigating a city. It all seemed like a difficult situation to be in thus he rubbed the back of his head and waited for further instruction.

WORDS: 1050 | TAG: @baron | ALISA

"Frankly, I feel losing your knighthood might have been for the best... You don't look the type who'd thrive under smothering regulations.", noted Alisa, shooting him a sympathetic glance, like she understood this all too easily, "If you lost anything else you should not have, well... I'm sure that loss will only make you stronger in the end."

Her lips widened into a soft smile, but in the end, nodded as any debate on her friend would have to be saved for later. The beanstalk after all, took up the bulk of their attention in more ways than one. Surely, they could chop it up into pieces but even then, ensuring none of them fell on any houses was nearly impossible... After all, this beanstalk was taller than the biggest of spells. The easiest way to prevent any unnecessary property damage was, in the end:

"Oh, we have a whole avenue cut off, just in case a mage picked up the job. We have all that part of the job taken care of, all we need is the muscle to knock it right down.", Alisa could almost tell from the way he looked at Baron that he'd assume him to be doing the chopping.

"Well I guess that makes things simple then~...", crackling her knuckles and rolling her shoulders, Alisa narrowed her eyes at that beanstalk, almost like it were an enemy she could stare down and intimidate. Mere reflex if anything, after all, not as if she were raising her guard at at the target or anything. Instead, she merely looked at it, and the avenue over which it was supposed to fall, and then glanced at Baron, "I'll make aim where it's supposed to fall, but if you see shrapnel or see it tilting too far in the wrong direction, give it a little nudge."

And without warning, she broke off into a quick dash, all but disappearing from sight as she put the bulk of her speed and power. Nearing the Beanstalk, she pivoted on her right foot, turning into a quick 360º spin, powering a thundering tornado kick aimed tight at the base of the stalk.

CRASH!!

She ran and angled her kick in a way such that it hit opposite to the direction she wanted to topple the tree, using sheer force to bring the split pieces of the stalk where she wanted them, right onto the avenue, where the second, thunderous impact would soon echo through these streets as the size of the stalk shaded what would soon become its crash site.

Baron
Baron chuckled to himself as he thought about it further. It being the day in question. Oh the things he could remember doing with that woman, her warmth against him, the strange but cool feeling of sweat on his form as he tried his best to keep up with every single turning motion, it made him feel complete in a way it did. If only he could have done it a bit longer, or rather, if only he could have enjoyed the activity again. The last time he had done it was with that elf and boy was she mad at the conclusion. To think he almost had his own little... It was probably best if he didn’t think about the past and let his mind drift back to Alisa’s friend, not the male but the one she had mentioned before... if they matched the bill.

He rubbed his hands together and chuckled to himself as he thought about what he’d do when he saw her again, maybe he could take her out for food or something, some noodles or perhaps some other form of entertainment. He was unsure what to do or say, he probably wouldn’t get to say much though, she was fast if he remembered so fast that she looked like wind when she left. There was something he could do for her... try to reignite that fire but he was just... just not sure what else would happen. And then there was the matter of Alisa, what would she think if she found out what he did?

He smiled at the woman, she thought he was better off without being under the rule of the knights but he was unsure what to make of it all. Sure, he probably could have done better underneath the knights but being underneath BP was just as difficult. They made him change who he was and made him look his best despite him enjoying more wild forms of clothing he wanted to look ferral as it was apart of him, apart of who he was. They could make him dress up but they couldn’t change who he was and the wolf inside him! It wanted out and he was going to let it especially without any magical ability. Barry the mage was no more and barry the wolf was here! Though he was unsure if he could change into a full wolf like form.

As he was lost in thought Alisa had already begun the job kicking the bean stalk down and looking good while doing so, he had come to just in time though and gave his own little nudge to the thing as it fell into the ave. Sadly when he moved he dropped all of his cookies and now he was without them. It was a bold sacrifice but he job was done and he was reminded just how strong his partner was. She was bean stalk level and he wondered if she could do that to a building.
