Alright, Jyu seems to be ignoring me so I'm dragging this mess out into public. Why are we effectively banning members from making spells on the grounds that Jyu is trying to advance the story by... stopping all forward motion? There was never a public announcement made for a Season 2, nor was it included in any set of updates which stopped after May/June. All I have to go on is that Jyu told staff, and only staff, that his plans would be done by summer.

So what's up? I get that people get busy but this all started in February. The discord link is expired, and the S2 regulations have been updated through until the end of august, including the regulations we've been supposedly waiting on to get finished before spells and magic can be done again. Is Jyu adding more systems? Did he go on holiday and forget to tell people? Has everyone decided to just jump ship and find somewhere else?

Hey, so I've been gone for awhile but i've kept up with some of the stuff. If I'm correct the reason why were not allowed to make spells is because the regs are getting revamped and they're going to be different so instead of people making spells now on the current regs and then having to change them into new ones, the staff has just stopped people from making spells.

As for jyu not responding I'd assume he's just hella busy, S2 is supposed to be released in a few weeks so i guess they're hard at work rn. For discord I don't have an answer to that, sorry. Lastly, I can say that theres a pretty set group of people who like to rp here so I don't think you have to worry about people jumping ship, there's always a few people around here who want to rp. I myself am even debating to come back here. Hope this was helpful.

Yeah, he and the staff are definitely hard at work. We talk to him almost daily and it seems like stuff is really rolling behind the scenes. Don't worry about anyone jumping ship, There's quite a lot of us in the discord, but I think the reason we can't invite people is because the owner probably doesn't want to give new people this false hope that everything is gonna be done in a few short days, when in reality it could still be weeks even from now. The members in there right now are the ones who've stuck even through the long inactivity and still check in constantly. In a way, this is kind of their spot to go to, so I can see why he wouldn't take the discord down completely.

As for the others, who have left the discord or have never been inside it. I mean just think about it from a different perspective, you wouldn't want to see a whole new generation of people enter this site only to bring up complaints and kill the energy we have for it just because the staff are eager to fix a broken system. Not only that, if people lose energy for this awesome site before it can even get back up again, then what will that say about it succeeding when alls' over. I mean yeah you can rant about the time at which everyone'll have to wait, but I don't think any of us who are here really care because we trust him. I'd assume that it could really kill the morale of his staff though, if they have to hear people get angry with them when they're working for free & and with them and Jyu already exerting their spare time in earnest.

It just seems like a really annoying hindrance having to keep explaining over and over that the site is in a maintenance phase for new people who will probably lose interest after only a few days waiting. The most of us have been through this before and we know it's going to be awhile, that isn't to say we don't want it right now, but it's not fair to rush them. Extra stuff to slow them down could cause the whole place to collapse and that's not what anyone, especially Jyu who runs this place, is aiming for.

Disclaimer: Anyways. That's just what I'd assume he's doing, and maybe it's for other reasons, but can't blame him for stopping chat while he fixes his site lol

Unlike the previous owner, who could get stuff out like that. Jyu takes his time, but it is worth waiting for. Paitence is key and I was told they are short on staff members as well. They are working hard to make things better and from what I was told they have a lot of it done and well prepared. Good things take time, we are all paitent, at least those who are sticking around. I was told it will be another week before they announce everything, but that was an estimation.

I'm not really concerned about how it's taking a long time. It's okay to rework systems and all but... outside of the discord there is nothing. Not giving a deadline is fine but it woulda been nice to have some kind of announcement saying that was what was going on rather than radio silence. Even if it was two sentences.
