Eryll
Eryll wandered into his guild hall. He hadn't been here in awhile. He had spent the past few months in Stella with his mother, he was still transitioning back into using Fiorian.

Walking up to the bar he greeted the bartender, "Hi Frederick, can I have a glass of wine please?" Eryll asked. He wasn't a heavy drinker like some of the other men and women in his guild, but he did enjoy the occasional glass of wine. Frederick poured him a small glass of white wine. Pyre took it and left a little tip for him before walking over to a table next to a window and sitting down. He sipped it slowly and watched the birds that had stayed in orchidia for the winter fly around the massive guild building. Perching along the bridge and fencing of the guild.

Eryll was dressed in a white and green trenchcoat and black boots to keep his feet dry and protected. His fingers were bright red from the cold of the outside air.

The air inside of the guild was cozy and warm from the multitude of bodies. there were a few plastered individuals who had come back from a request early and decided to start drinking in the afternoon. But as of now, the main area of the guild didn't smell heavily of alcohol, at least not yet. Eryll did enjoy the bit of alcohol induced antics, but he was always carefully, drinking to forget could lead people down a dangerous path, it lead his father down a dangerous path. But his father didn't stop him from enjoying life.

The past couple years have been anything but ordinary, to say the least. With everything that had gone on with Carnil and Ëala, she had little time to train. The most she had done was gotten the hang of this new magic Ëala had bestowed upon her. Less could be said for her physical abilities, which if anything, had deteriorated a bit since her memory had been wiped. As much as she wished none of that had happened, there was nothing she could do to change her past. All she could do now was proceed with what she had, and just work even harder to achieve what she had lost. For the moment though, she decided she wanted to catch up with what she missed out on in the guild.

The elf strolled into the guild hall. She rubbed her hands together, warming them up after her brisk walk through the cold wintry air. She was going to sit down on a couch, when she saw someone who caught her interest: a fellow elf. One would think that Kerii had, had enough with all the elf business going on, but frankly, she wanted someone she could relate to whilst simultaneously getting a break from her own family drama. The black-haired elf took a glass of white wine and walked over to a table near a window. Walking over to the bar, Kerii ordered her own drink. "I'll take a vodka cranberry." Once the bartender made the elf her drink, she took it and walked over to the other elf. "Strange, seeing another elf in the guild," Kerii commented, switching over to Val'Elvarin. Though Wood Elves certainly weren't the most uncommon race in Fiore, Kerii couldn't recall meeting another in Orchidia, much less her own guild. She was curious as to where this conversation would take them.

Eryll
Eryll had been enjoying his glass of wine so much he wasn’t watching the constat flow of guild members coming and going. Then, from behind he heard someone speak in val’elvarian. Surprised, he turned around to see a female wood elf behind him. Eryll struggles for a moment to find the right language before his mind finally clicked the switch and he was able to speak,””It is. I knew there were other elves when I joined, but I had never met any.”

Eryll was pleasantly surprised by this and was glad he had someone here to relate to for a little while. ”Oh, I must have forgotten my manners, please, sit down. My name is Eryll by the way. “ he said. Eryll likes to get introductions done early, that way he knew who he was talking to, names just seemed a tiny bit more personal and Eryll liked to form connections. Curious about the knew elf he had just met, Eryll asked her some questions: ”So, how long have you been in the guild? I’ve been here for two years but I’ve spent them in other places training.”

In short, he had spent time with his father on worth woodsea, training in his free time and keeping his father from dying of alcohol poisoning. Then, after he had paid Killoua to take care of his father, Eryll left for Stella. He had spent most of his time there training. He left a few days ago to return to Fiore.

It seemed to take a few moments for the fellow elf to process what Kerii had said, but once he did, he agreed that it was strange to see another elf in Lamia Scale. He then proceeded to introduce himself as Eryll. "Kerii," she replied, reaching out for a handshake, after which she would sit down and take a sip of her drink while Eryll would carry on their conversation by asking Kerii how long she had been part of the guild. It seemed like forever ago, but it was really only four years. While those four years had their ups and downs, she could confidently say that they had been the best of her life. When she turned sixteen, she finally had the freedom she longed for while being trapped under her parents' roofs. Looking back, sixteen was a rather young age to depart, but she made it out just fine, and she honestly couldn't imagine what the past four years would have been like if she wasn't part of Lamia Scale.

"I joined about four and a half years ago. We must have just kept missing each other then. I travel around a lot, so it makes sense. But anyway, you said you'd been training for a while before joining the guild? Was it with magic?" Chances are, it was. After all, Lamia Scale wasn't considered a mage's guild for no reason. Although there were certainly people without magical abilities who joined, the majority of them had some sort of magical capabilities. Assuming Eryll also could practice magic, she wanted to learn what kind specifically.

Eryll
The other wood elf was named Kerii. She sat down afterwards and took another sip of her drink. She said she had been a part of the guild for about four and a half years. That was about double the time Eryll had been in the guild. Eryll had joined the guild a little more than two years ago, after he had graduated. Kerii then asked him if he was a mage, which earned a smile from Eryll. ”I’ve only been in the guild for a little more than two years and for the entirety of that I have been out traveling. But yes, I am a mage. Are you?” He asked. The chances were about 80-20 that she said yes to being a mage. There were non-magic users in their guild, but most of his fellow guild mates practiced magic of some kind. Eryll himself had practiced begun practicing water magic. All that time on a coast as a teenager gave him a special connection with the ocean and Eryll enjoyed his times using water magic. Eryll took another sip of his wine and ran his hand along the stem of the wine glass. He looked back to Kerii.

Drinking more of her vodka cranberry, she listened to Eryll’s reply. He hadn’t been in the guild for that long. In fact, he had only been in Lamia Scale for roughly half the time Kerii had. Also, just like she thought, Eryll had been training in the field of magic before joining the guild, but he didn’t elaborate any more on that matter like the elf had hoped. Eryll in turn, asked Kerii if she too was a mage. “Yeah, I’m a healer, actually,” she replied. Though she couldn’t exactly demonstrate the full capabilities of her magic, as nobody was injured, she opted to form a violet lily in her right hand, and with a snap of her left, it vanished. It didn’t display her healing powers, but it at least told Eryll that it was nature-based.

Kerii wanted to know more about the fellow elf. She really did, but she also wanted to talk with other members of the guild. “Well, it was nice meeting you Eryll, but I think I’m going to catch up with some other members.” She paused for a moment, and then spoke, “You know what? If you want, we can team up for Guildmaster Shahrbaraz’s event.” After Eryll would give his reply, regardless of the answer, Kerii would depart with her drink and wander around the guild hall, looking for people she knew.

Eryll
Eryll took the last sip of his wine as Kerii explained that she was a healer. Then, to demonstrate her magic a little, she made a small flower bloom in her hand. Eryll smiles. Kerii was an interesting mage. She then excused herself saying she wanted to catch up with some of her guild mates. Eryll was about to say goodbye when she offered the possibility of doing their guild master’s tests together. Eryll thought quietly for a moment, then responded, “that sounds like a great idea. I’ll meet you outside of the woods tomorrow morning.” Kerii then left and Eryll was left to his own thoughts. He sat for a few more minutes then left to go out walking in the town. He hadn’t been in orchidia much since joining the guild so he decided it best to familiarize himself with the area again. His memory was a tiny bit hazy but he knew his way around fairly well.

Eryll walked out and across one of the many bridges that connected the lamia scale guild hall to the rest of orchidia. Eryll likes how the guildhouse was an interesting place with a interesting, ethereal design to it.
