Zhu-lin had been finishing up her dinner on a peaceful night in the town of Orchidia. The stars were gleaming, and as the girl stared out the restaurant window, she had wondered what it would be like to live on a star. They were just so beautiful, and she was just happy that such things existed. People liked to wish on falling stars, ponder thoughts looking at bright stars, and find their way in the world using stars too. There were so many great uses for stars, and their very existence brought tears of joy to the girl's eyes.

She had been sitting on the far end of the restaurant sitting with Venus, just silently eating noodles. For some reason, the small animal had wanted strawberry macaroons instead of anything else, but she wasn't really going to question why he wanted what he wanted. She watched him eat his dessert with her mouth a bit astonished to what she was witnessing. How many macaroons has this little animal eaten? Would he get sick if he ate any more? There were so many thoughts running through the girl's mind, but they had all been cleared once the small bell for the door rung and she watched someone quite peculiar walk in.

Notte Giornata
Notte had just come back from the dunking booth, it was night at the time so the breeze was cold but the atmosphere was warm the stars were out, Notte's opinion on stars reflected a lot about his personality, the way he saw it was; stars always die and so will we but the thing that defines our very existence is chance or what we call luck, luck is just invisible odds everything is predetermined by what happened before, that's why bets always fascinated Notte is that you got to choose the circumstances between to situations; Even in this situation something could happen but real choice comes with bets, everything else is just an illustion, just like the way we see stars like they were thousands of years ago not how they look right now.

In deep thought, Notte cluelessly walked and walked and walked until he reached a restaurant and thought to himself Why not I'm kinda hungry right now anyways he walked in which made a small bell ring, looking around the restaurant it was quite cosy and had a small bar, he went and politely asked the waiter for a can of soda and a burger, Notte loved complex foods but at times like this comfort food would be great.

After getting his food he went to sit down but alas he didn't have ketchup so he went out to look for it but couldn't find it anywhere he ended up walking all way to the last table where a girl was she was quite a looker but that wasn't his goal right now he needed ketchup, walking up to her he noticed that she had a dog! Notte loved dogs and asked "Hey cute stuff! Mind if i pet your dog?" Luckily she also had ketchup, thinking it was kinda rude to just ask a lady to pet her dog without introducing himself "Also hey! Names Notte." he said this with a friendly smile

Just as she had finished swallowing a noodle there had been a man who had walked up to her, asking to pet Venus and calling her... cute? Did he really just do that? Well, it didn't matter now, as she would just ignore it and let the man do what he asked, as his request seemed pretty much harmless. "Uh... sure, you can pet him," she said as she put him on the other side of her, making the man able to reach the vulpix with ease. He had introduced himself as Notte, and she had replied with, "I'm Haruna, but you can call me Haru, nice to meet ya." She put down her chopsticks and stuck out her hand for a handshake, kind of reaching across the table. It was odd, someone walking up just to pet a dog, but maybe there was more to this than she thought, maybe there was another intention hidden behind this that she wasn't yet aware of. If there was, it would reveal itself soon enough. "So is there anything, in particular you need other than petting my pet?" she asked the man, trying to see if he actually needed anything. Maybe they could talk for a while. There wasn't anything that she wanted to talk about, but she had just figured they could talk about anything really. "Take a seat! I assume you're here for something, so why not stay a while?"

Notte Giornata
Being a bit curious about this girl Notte decided to stick around for a while, Sitting down next to the dog he was opposite from Haruna, "Well I initially came for ketchup but I think I'll stay a bit for you!" Notte chuckled a bit as he blushed just a slight bit thought, "So if you're up for it let's just talk about anything, sometimes it's nice to just be random it gives you a sense of curiosity, a good question to start of is what do you think about the star what do they mean to you personally?" He said with a curious look on his face still stroking the dog. As Notte said before what someone thinks about the stars tells him alot about the person, the first impression that he got of this girl was she was pretty nice inviting him over to just talk, you don't see something like these days, remembering he left his food on the other table he went to get it, "Gimme an answer when i get back, i'm just gonna go grab my food haha" he said and he slid his hand through his pink hair.

The girl had just watched for a moment as the man had settled himself in, getting quite comfortable in such short time. This guy didn't seem like the type of person she wanted to get involved, but who knows? Her first impressions on people were never really the right ones, so maybe this man could be different, and he could prove himself somehow. She thought on his question for a moment, the one about the stars. What did stars really mean to her? Well, there were actually a few different answers for that. She could say that the stars inspire her and help her follow her dreams, or she could say that stars to her meant that anything was possible, and each star in the sky is a wish that you can reach up and touch, and one day that wish will come true. Those were different things she believed, and they could all be possible answers. Just as she was about to speak though, he had gotten up and said that he was going to go to get his food. "Well... alright then," she said as she watched him get up and walk off, now just waiting for him to come back and taking another bite of her food, trying to finish up.

Grabbing his food he quickly ran back to the table "Sorry for the wait it kind of felt like 2 weeks since i went to get my food... if it felt long for you sorry for the long wait haha..." He put his food down and asked "So what brings you here? you and you're cute ass dog anyways" He saw the kid was relatively younger than him so he just wanted to make her feel comfortable he was a pretty sociable person and he did need more friends in this town so this was a good start. Being interested he asked "I'm actually pretty new to magic and I was wondering what kind of magic you have?" Notte had worked out a stronger spell type in the form of spin but he was still new to magic he barely knew what his magic actually does other than the fact that he can create solid object. He started to pick at his food bored while a restaurant was good for food it wasn't good much of anything else he then asked "Hey I'm kinda bored i'm gonna go out and go to some booths you can come if you like." He said as he paid for his food and stood up
