Leyaria Venerak
The festival fatigue was real, even though she had at first believed it to be something that was more ust a rumor than anything else. Too often, there had been cases in which she had ended up wishing that there were more or less that she could have done to make it as though time would have lasted longer, but after a certain period of time, it was impossible not to acknowledge and recognize that eventually there was nothing really more that could be done that had not already been done. It did at the same time make her wonder if it was as important to get there was quickly as she could have at first, though to mch a degree, it was not something that was up to her, but rather instead it was something that more Bianca determined and set out to do and while it was something that Leyariaw as not going to object to, nor was she really put in such a position that she could have objected to it, she knew that this always stood as a potential, though she had not expected that it was going to have lasted as long as it ultimately did, or seemed at least that it was going to last. From what she had heard, the festival was nowhere near close to finishing out, and though it was going to have been a bit until perhaps the end of the month from what she had heard form some sources. Whehte ro not it was the case remained to be seen, but it was at least riht now expected to end any time soon.

For Leyaria, that wasn’t the worst thing that could have happened, as there were far more worse things that could have been going on. The fact was just, with what could be done at the festival, it did not entice her nearly enough, not as much such that it was worthwhile spending all of the time that she had up to this point going around and drinking. There was only so much time that she had left to live, and she wanted to to be more than more just going around and trying out a bunch of ales for a price that either might not been nearly the value of the particular drink, or may have been a drink that she could have just had here in Orchidia, or might have had throughout eh rest of Fiore. Alcohol was in no way a rairity, nor something that was only limited to festivals, and the foods, while good most of the time, were hard to justify spending all the money that she had remaining on just things to eat, especially when knowing it was going to be less and less time that she was actually going to have been able to enjoy it. It put her in an awkward and tough spot, but she decided ultimately to settle on doing another job. After all, it would pay.

Leyaria was not exactly sure what to make of the request that she had gotten. It was one that was a bit out there, but at this point, it was hard to dispute the fact that most of the jobs that she had taken within Fiore, but importantly those within Orchidia, that they had been odd, if not outright stupid. As could have been said by some of the people within Fiore and this city alike, it just being confusing if to believe that they were a reflection of all of the people or if they were just the ones who happened to have requests that Leyaria took, giving her perhaps the worst of the potential options. All she was expected to do with this request was essentially just watch over an elderly woman who wasn’t doing anything other than just sitting around and ensuring that nothing happened to her, and it was hard to believe that she was going to have been able to do anything. For the most part, she simply sat within the same chair that she had been in whien Leyaria first arrived at the apartment, a bit larger in size than what she imagined it to have been, but apparently she being the grandmother and the other man who ha left almost immediately were well off, at least enough to afford this place, but it was probably safe to say that the rent to have a place like this was cheaper than what it would have been in Era or Crocus or even Magnolia for that matter.

Over the course fo the day, the woman began to show a bit of life as she began going about doing activities and requesting Leyaria’s help in the manner, and honestly, it impressed Leyaria a bit about just how apparently lively she was. At first glance, she figured that it would have been just someone who was just ready to die, similar to Leyaria, but upon a closer look, she came to realize that that was an unfair assessment, especially given hwo when pushed and engaged in actual activity that she was fast, if not even faster than what Leyaria had come to see at those activites. While it was true that with some of thos activities, she had been limited to only what maybe her sister had done or someone else, and thus the pool was limited, but that did not take away from just how impressed she was as someone who was just sitting there watching. It took a little bit of time for what they had been doing, making cookies, to finish, but once they were done, Leyaria was very impressed, and could not believe how they tasted, and as she came to find out, they were actually made with mana crystals, something that rarely was seen locally, almost never used in cooking, but the fact that they were used was a brilliant idea that she had never considered before. Soon she was fully paid.
