There was something of a concert going on, a light show but the red haired knight had made the decsion to sit on the other side of the lake that was there, the broad river to not be mingled in the huge amount of a crowd. It was nice to have something of the acoustic music here but not have a deafening sense in her ears and still be able to hear the birds and the other creatures around the water making a noise. It was nice to simply watch, she had her legs pulled up and her hands wrapped around them, feeling the pressure of the Vash's white against her lower back. She still had not used it so often, also didn't feel the need, she actually wanted to get her hands on a better weapon that she would be able to use but she couldn't say no to a present from Midas for her personally. Just like the armour, which she didn't wear at this point because why would she?

There were moments, before that she didn't dare to not walk in her armour even when it was easier as a requip mage to simply change. How things changed was beyond her, she waited for answers on so many things and yet there were too much of that amount of questions shredded in mystery. Why but she had to stop thinking like that, there was no moment to be depressed about that and she had enough other things to worry about.

She absent minded patted Jupiter who lay on the grass next to her, finally sleeping a bit as he had helped and watched out for her the last couple of days, Ceres was on the brick of the water, trying to see what the lake had to offer her, it was as relaxed as could be but it wouldn't be for long as her mind would go on in circles and circles to find solutions to answers that were unknown.

The promise of good, live music had lured Alisa here, like the classy, curious artist she was. She hardly regretted that decision for even the briefest of moments, and doubted she ever would. How could she, with such a lovely looking sky overhead in all its glorious shades of blue with the occasional white of a cloud - like masterful brush strokes on an artist's canvas - scarcely big enough to even consider covering such beaming sunlight.

This festival offered her the unrefusable option of wearing every kimono on her wardrobe and then more, such typically eastern outfits scarcely meshed well with Fiorian fashion, often relegating these lovely articles to mere bathrobes. She went with blue this time around, but picked a different kind of hair ornament, all in all creating a more casual, if equally appealing look. Lumen had a more limited array of options when relying on the outfits created by her human body spell. As she looked at her, scanning her figure head to toe, Alisa crooked her brow:

"Perhaps we should buy you a Kimono...?", she mused, looking into her partner's innocent, visibly unconcerned eyes of gold. She didn't even need to shrug for Alisa to glimse her thoughts on the matter, and thus she simply smiled, chuckling softly as she herself shrugged, "Then again, it doesn't seem to bother you that much..."

But as she made her way along the river, ever closer to where the concert might take place, Alisa eventually spotted a familiar figure resting casually on the grass. Likely lured here for the same reason as herself, Alice had nonetheless chosen a discreet, quiet spot where no crowd - or even the music itself - could truly deafen out nature's own music. She looked rather pretty in that Kimono, but then again, she pulled off just about anything: "Hello there Alice~", she'd greet the woman as she drew closer, noticing her companions but mostly focusing on the knight herself, flashing that bright, cool smile, "I see you couldn't resist this lovely setting either~"

The question for the red head was; is everything taken care off? The answer was surely no. The house was doing alright, her wedding dress was here, safely stored into a room where she hoped Kon wouldn't check, but she was sure he wasn't that curious or well.. not.. she had to shut her mind. It would be nice if she could just enjoy the music, the rustling of the leaves and stop worrying for a moment. For a moment just be a person that sat here enjoying the festivities and not think about everything that could go wrong in her life. Alice always had been the one to fight and think later, have this automatic pilot that worked but after losing her magic, being pregnant and having a wedding to take care off, it probably had to be a broken autopilot and went instant to panic mode.

She kept going on to pat Jupiter but closed her eyes and simply listened to the music, she heard footsteps, defening in the grass but they were there still and she flew open her eyes, holding up her hand to summon the weapons that she.. used to have. Thank god for now she didn't but like she thought before; panic mode was still active. And she stared surprised at Alisa and immediately calmed down for quite a lot. She smiled at her friend, her eyes drifted to the concert on the other side, "it is definitely worth it on this side, too crowded on the other." She said with a grin. She went to stand up straight, "You came here for the festival?"

Perhaps it would be a good idea to talk to Alisa, as she had done before, her friend always seemed to calm her mind and she could definitely make use of that. If only she could think like that without needing Alisa like that, it might be a bit of a relieve but it was already at this point that they seemed to meet more regularly. Perhaps she should do something about finding her friends for herself, where was her cousin?

She knew the girl needed her downtime now, far more than she ever did. Knowing this brought Alisa a genuine delight upon seeing the girl just lay around and relax, fretting over neither her work nor her family. After all she had plenty of capable coworkers and nannies ready to cover for her on either side of her life; self reliant as she may be, Alice needed to rely on them more often.

And there she laid, casually petting her companion, now in his original form - the same one Alisa met him in - while another she'd never seen before fooled around in the water further ahead. These two and the missing Hecate all looked quite alike save for a different color scheme and elemental theme, titillating Alisa's curiosity towards their relationship. Were they all part of sister species, or perhaps even actual siblings? Neither alternative would surprise her actually; perhaps Alisa could poke Alice on that subject at one point or another.

Her graceful, quiet approach startled the girl though, and though her reaction earned her that classy, hand covered giggle, Alisa's eyes nonetheless showed her calm and understanding. She too might have felt jumpy should someone walk up to her unannounced.

"Indeed... One such setting would easily suck all the amusement away.", nodded the sculptress, shooting a cursory glance at said other side, showing just a hint of displeasure with a faint twitch of her lip, visibly uneasy at the prospect of having to swim her way across that ocean of people to find a good spot to hear the concert. No, she'd much rather appreciate the music from afar, just like Alice did.

Alisa and Lumen alike walked over to Alice, visibly intending to sit down next to her. The sculptress even ran a hand down her sinuous form, smoothing out the minute creases in her kimono. But the redhead beat her to it and stood up, as one who had lazed around too long for comfort. She deserved it of course, but she was far too active to do so for long; for better or worse.

"Ufufu~ Me and the rest of Fiore apparently~", she giggled, looking over the girl's kimono while the ever cheerful Lumen twirled playfully, showing off her own violet garment, "I can hardly blame them, after all, with a dress code as charming as this~"

while Alice was startled, Ceres didn't seem to notice anything else but splashing around and even trying to catch a fish, not even sure if it was her own reflection or a fish in the river, it didn't really matter for the lilac creature as she seemed to be having fun. Jupiter had immediately moved up his face to look at the incoming new guests, he had heard the footprints but had known it was a friend, not saying that to Alice had maybe been a bit rude but since the arrival of Ceres, he and Hecate had refrained from changing into human beings too often and for spoken the human tongue as in to not separate too much of their beings with the younger Ceres.

Alice greeted her friend back with a happy smile and the pleasure to being on this side of the river, where before Alisa her arrival it was only her and her companions, but the company of Alisa was a very pleasant thing. She asked if Alisa came for the festival which was quite clear with their kimonos as well and she smiled at Lumen who made a small twirl, "It surely is a change, it's fun to wear it for once and it looks good on you." as well as on Lumen, which was a very pretty kimono as well, "We saw each other recently, but how are you doing?" She said, motioning for Alisa to sit with her and if her friend would, than she would sit down again as well again. She didn't know very well if she wanted to bother Alisa with her own thoughts, but there were a few things she would have to say.

Never having met the new dark furred companion, Alisa found herself looking at him or her more often than she ordinarily might. Was it strong? Just what secret powers might it hold? But it's power said little of it's personality, as a mere glance at Lumen quickly reminded her. Though comparatively weak, Alisa wouldn't send off her adorable companion for any reason in the world; hell, she'd only consider the option should she find the girl's life in grave danger due to the sculptress' own presence:

"And you as well~", Alisa returned the compliment with a playful smile and thankful wink, she obviously liked hearing praise towards her beauty. After that pleasant greeting though, the redhead sat right back down under that cozy shade, inviting the sculptress to join her. Alisa needn't hear the same invitation twice, merely smiled cool and delightly as she joined Alice like she originally intended, "Doing well, same as last time really~ And how are the kids?"

Casually sitting down beside the knight, Alisa stretched one leg out and bent the other, just enough to rest her elbow above her knee and cheek on her palm, lazily turning towards her friend with an intrigued, curious look. Though she asked about her children, she was equally curious about how she'd been handling the two growing tots.

Meanwhile, Lumen all but mimicked her partner's pose as she sat down next to Jupiter, watching the new Black creature she hadn't seen the last time. She found herself bending her knees and resting her crossed arms over them, occasionally resting both hands back and shifting her legs around innocently. Yet the more she looked between Jupiter and Ceres with that innocent smile, the more her cheery face betrayed an uncertain hint... Something felt off, and it likely had to do with her being in human form while the other two used their normal bodies...

Alice noticed how her friend looked at Ceres and gave a soft smile. She obviously didn't know what Alisa thought, "Ceres is a cousin from Jupiter." she said as she turned her eyes at the lilac creature too, who stopped splashing around and looked up at the four of them, tilting her head a little as if asking if she did something wrong but as Alice shook her head lightly so she jumped around some more, "As you might have noticed she is like a very enthusiastic being." And she had no idea how she used her magic as she had gone off too much when she would try with Hyõen and now she had never really let Ceres try again, she let Jupiter guide her but at this point, it seemed like prince charming had a certain lack of sleep. He had not even come up or changed into human to greet Alisa or Lumen.

Alice liked the compliment, she brushed the invisible dust of the light blue kimono as if it wasn't good enough as she was standing next to a beauty like Alisa. "The kids seem fine, they loved swimming, they slept very well that night." the first time they didn't wake up at all until in the early morning, it had been a blessing, she heard Jupiter chuckle when she said it so happily, "I was a bit afraid of the walk home I mean here to Orchidia but it had gone well, I mean Kon and I got together and Hecate, Jupiter and Ceres were there as well." Even though at this point Alice didn't trust Ceres alone with her children, "I just need to learn to let go of all the imaginable situations I come up with. It is good to be prepared but it is bad to be paranoid." She looked at the river, for some reason Orchidia also felt safer than Crocus, mainly because their house was just outside town, well enough hidden.

When Lumen came to sit next to Jupiter, he would sit upright and look at her, they had met before and just as it happened a couple of times more, he had wanted to switch but didn't want to scare of Ceres. He had tried to find her as a human and that had gone wrong and since that point, there was only one point where he changed human to help Alice with her burned hand. He looked with his golden eyes shortly at Alice and back at Lumen, he would consider it for a while, depending on Ceres her reaction as she had never met Lumen and Alisa.

"Guess she and Lumen will get along swimmingly~", Alisa looked pretty interested in the explanation, but not nearly as much as Lumen whose lips parted into a surprised 'O' as she looked between Jupiter and Ceres.

As she heard this though, Lumen undid her human transformation, and the small, not as little Lampent hovered over to Ceres, humming cheerfully, in clear hopes of making a new friend. Alisa turned back to Alice soon enough, eyes moving slowly as she took in the shimmering lake, beaming off the sun's rays in a dazzling light show:

"Naturally, all that energy needs to go somewhere~", chuckled the sculptress, mulling over how the excessively energetic kids were often a hassle for their parents to deal with, "If you make sure they exhaust everything outside, then surely you'll wake up most days with a good night's sleep~"

Everybody knew this from experience, right...? If not with their own kids, then at least from one's own childhood memories. Thankfully Alice had her nannies, thus she needn't worry so much about lack of sleep, at least, not as much as the average mother might have to.

"I'm sure you'd be alright.", she had nothing but calm reassuring words and a confident smile, resting one hand on the woman's shoulder, "You're one of the strongest fighters I know, not many can truly threaten you or your own; not when you have your guard up...", of course, she didn't forget about the knight's companion's either, "And your escort as well~"

She couldn't help narrow her eyes at the girl's last statement though, resting one hand behind her, relaxing her posture even though her expression looked genuinely serious. She found no harm in being paranoid, in not trusting people... But that had nurtured her dislike for crowds to the point she could no longer

"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean nobody's trying to get you. All you need is a clear head, to stay calm and composed despite the threat.", at this point, she'd raise an eyebrow, fixing that ruby wine gaze on Alice's eyes as the conversation took a turn for the more technical, "Tell me, do you have any kind of sensory spell you can rely on?"

Alice couldn't help but chuckle as Alisa said Lumen and Ceres would go along swimmingly. Alice turned her head to see Lumen change back to her non-human form and she looked different from what Alice remembered during their tennis match. "Did she evolve?" she asked, now Jupiter and the others didn't seem to show off that they could transform like that but she had experience with her clefairy, Ophelia. It has been almost a year since she had lost her little friend and yet she had difficulty speaking about her, so she basically didn't. Apart from that it might be one of the original reasons why she could be so paranoid, she had to protect a companion but at this point she had to protect two babies who had no defense spells or whatsoever. And here the King announced he was doing fine. She didn't need to discuss that with Alisa, both agreed that it was a very strange situation and Alice still couldn't form an opinion about what she really thought about it, a very pleasant thought wasn't possible.

"That's the new strategy for days. Make them tired and let me sleep." she said with a short giggle, it was nice to do some things but she also didn't really mind if they woke her up in the middle of the night, they already slept more than the first few days. So that was already a good thing and it was only a matter of time. But Alisa was right, she would not just stop fighting and especially not with the reasons that she had now and she shortly looked at Jupiter who kept his eyes straight at Ceres and Lumen but didn't seem to join the fun, "Yes, I'm not alone." and still alive and kicking as well. If only the paranoia in her head would stop, that would be great.

She nodded, "I bet it's just everything at once at this point. The wedding takes a lot of time and I'm so afraid something goes wrong as everything keeps changing and well it surely has its moments that it doesn't sound like fun anymore." She bit her lip softly, but she did look forward to it, "I mean being aware and thinking about things to possibily prevent them can't be bad, I have two little ones to protect I just need to wait for after the wedding, than it's perhaps a bit easier too." That reminded her that Tori had declined her question because of well a lot of reasons and this meant Alisa was her only bridesmaid, which was no problem but it was good to tell her, "And that reminds me I have to tell you that you are the only bridesmaid and thus my maid of honour if you are okay with that of course."

She had not ignored the question of the sensory spell but how would she explain her geass without telling Alisa about the Holy Knights, why was it so secret anyway, "My rank in work gives me this sensory that works quite well, it includes my loved ones, the children, Kon, Jupiter and the others." She wouldn't keep it a secret if Alisa would ask more questions, she didn't want to lie to her friend.

"That she did.", nodded the sculptress, still pleasantly surprised, still bearing an intrigued look on her face whenever she mentioned Lumen's evolution. In the end, her eyes drifted back to her partner, her smile turning affectionate as she watched her adorable partner frolic with her new friends, "It happened out of nowhere, after she finished a fight. Perhaps that battle triggered her transformation?", she cupped her cheek contemplatively, chuckiling as she remember how little help Lumen provided when she tried to figure that out, "Whenever I ask her she just giggles and shrugs... I'm not sure if she doesn't know, or likes watching me wonder~"

Lumen's mischief should be no secret to Alice by now, not that the little Lampent liked keeping it a secret anyway. Nothing ever seemed to get under her skin, or do away with her usual quiet, jolly mood. While one may think she looked to everything as a form of amusement, Lumen took her partner's well being seriously enough, as well as her own training sessions with Alisa. Hearing about her kids brough the artist's gaze back to Alice, and she slowly stretched her long, elegant legs a bit further forward; propping herself up on her elbows in a lazy pose, her chest heaved under the silken fabric as she breathed in this lovely spring afternoon.

"Don't go getting cold feet now~...", chuckled the sculptress, doing what little she could to lighten her friend's mood, "Things are seldom as complicated as you think, especially when you have us all on your corner.", she shifted on her side so she could properly face Alice, possibly reaching out and drawing the girl's gaze towards her shimmering ruby orbits, "Don't worry, everything will be alright~ You should lay back and enjoy this delightful afternoon. Antecipating so many future problems will only blind you to the beauty before you~"

With that calm and confident, wholly reassuring smile on her face, Alisa would only let her friend turn away from her once she took a deep breath, upon which she'd go back to her pose and look up into the sky, so close to the sun she had to raise one hand and shield her eyes...

"I'd be honored~", though not as much as a shock as the first time, hearing one such request had the artist brushing those loose locks of hair, adjusting the edges of her kimono after rubbing behind her neck with a humbled look. She still hadn't met up with that Tori person... And apparently neither had Alice, and hence the sudden change of plans... But now she had a whole party to plan, and as she realized this, her brow furrowed as a hand moved to her chin, "If only she'd been a dear and left some bachelorette party plans for me to pick up from~ Oh well...", she shrugged, shook her head, and mustered her resolve to do what needed to be done, winking at her friend as she giggled, a tinge of playful mirth peering through that confidence, "Ufufu, I'll make sure you have a memorable party, so you needn't to worry about a thing~"

She wouldn't say anything else on the matter, fully planning to surprise Alice with... Well, with whatever she came up with when the time came, she obviously lacked any clear, exequible idea after only just starting to draft up plans in her head... Thus,  she took the cue to discuss a more accessible subject, her spell:

"That does sound interesting, but you need it to work at fair enough distance to make full use of that effect...", she mused, looking off into the distance as she strategized, "Hmm... How far away can you pick them up, 20 meters?"

Alice looked at Lumen and nodded while Alisa explained, that's what happened with Ophelia too, from Cleffa to Clefairy or something, she had spend days in the library after finding her in Oak. What felt like eons ago, she couldn't even imagine anymore that she could have been so dumb and join Phantom Lord. She had been ignorant of the world once she had left the orphanage, she wouldn't blame herself too much, being alone without memories was difficult but still, now she knew better. She should try to find a healer for this amnesia. "I had a previous companion that did that too, after battles and indeed and when they are ready. I have no idea when that is of course, as that probably differents from every other being." Perhaps that's why Lumen couldn't really answer the question.

Ceres ran around in the water to look more at Lumen and to splash the other companion, which made Jupiter shake his head and walked closer towards the water. It was not really a secret for Alice but she knew Jupiter tried to stay away from it, afraid he would accidentally use his lightning magic and do something to hurt others accidentally. So she looked at him shortly seeing how he stayed away from the edge far enough before turning to look back at Alisa and talk about her children.

She couldn't help but automatically grin, which happened more often when she thought about the wedding and Kon, "I'm not getting cold feet. I picked up the wedding dress a few days ago and I can't wait to wear it." She didn't even know how happy she looked as it was something that just happened. It was good advice though, yes most of the time it was her own tragic mind that made it worse than it was and while in battles, her mind went on autopilot and she saw no problems at all. She looked at the water and nodded, leaning back on her elbows in the grass as well, feeling the gun press against her body and she had to fiddle a bit to get it out with her kimono, she placed it next to her, but hidden enough by the fabric of the kimono. Not for Alisa, but for possible other people that might show up, at this point she doubted that.

Thank god Alisa would accept and that was a stress factor less, "I don't need a bachelorette party, I'll be fine. I doubt Tori even thought of anything yet." She looked at the companions that seemed to have fun and wondered if Ceres felt better now she was with them. But perhaps a bachelorette party would be fun, she could see her friends and well Hecate could come along right? Again she was too much worried about things she definitely had no need to worry about.

Her Geass wasn't really explained but she had used it a couple of times, it was some sort of automatic sense that made her keep an eye on her companions and her children if she was around, a good feeling if nothing was going on but a sense in the back of her mind that made her aware of them, "Ehm I don't have a real idea yet but I thought at the moment it was about fifthy meters."

"I've heard of others whose companions evolved into a different form...", Alisa nodded in agreement, looking off into the distance, vaguely in Lumen's directions, "No doubt every companion evolves differently or not at all, and the more I think about it the more I feel like even Lumen herself had no idea what really happened.", and then she rubbed her chin, "Perhaps they simply become stronger as such...? Whereas we simply get stronger from training, they'll achieve a new form to strength their abilities."

And now here she was, playfully splashing Ceres simply by hovering closer to the water, a cheery look on her face as she hummed in joy. Now that she'd evolved from a candle into a lamp, water bothered her significantly less, but she'd obviously still not swim in any form other than her human one. She even flashed Jupiter that youthful, welcoming smile as he approached them, though none of them had seen the creature's lightning abilities, anybody could guess that with a simple look at his fur.

Alisa trusted them to get along and Lumen wasn't really the wary type to begin with. Thus before she knew it, Alisa had looked back to Alice, just as she found her legs exposed to the sun's gentle warmth; the tree's shade receding as the solar disc slowly proceeded along its downward path.

"How many have you tried it on~?", she inquired, raising an eyebrow and smiling knowingly, even throwing a mischievously accusing wink, "Just once or twice when nobody was looking~?"

Putting on a wedding dress is hard work though, she doubted Alice could actually slip it on literally without anybody looking, unless whoever helped her just happened to be blind. Her following statement earned her a dumbfounded, almost confused look from the sculptress. Clearly whatever she said right now made little to no sense to the tall woman who simple smiled and shook her head, waving her hand dismissively:

"Of course you need one, just like every bride to be~", she'd assert, as if stating a widely known, undisputable truth before winking, "Don't worry, I'll figure something out for you, just in time~"

Her sensing spell was something else entirely though... Just the mention of fifty meters made her eyes widen slightly, thinking about how her own spell only reached as far as twenty, and merely pushing just another 5 meters would take twice the magic power:

"Oh my... That is quite impressive. You must have an exceedingly strong magic...", commented the tall woman

Alice nodded, she didn't want to disgard the conversation but she also didn't like to talk about it because it reminded her too much about Ophelia but she nodded again with the idea that Lumen perhaps didn't understand herself, perhaps it was just a sort of growth that felt so natural that Lumen had no idea that she changed apart from her own capability, what Alisa said after that made sense to Alice and she nodded for the third time, "That would explain things." Her eyes darting towards Jupiter, her strongest companion as she believed, would he still have another form? She watched how the yellow creature would sit near the edge, not close enough though and stare at Lumen and Ceres playing in the water. For a few seconds Alice wondered if he would have joined if it wasn't in the water of if he wasn't a being of lightning but on one hand, he mostly showed a character not as playful as Ceres. Jupiter and Hecate were still a mystery to her but it got better now that they were able to talk and able to change into a human.

As she spoke about her paranoia which she half blamed on the wedding as well as her sister now that she thought about it but rather did not, she told Alisa she wasn't getting cold feet, definitely not, she might have never been the person to dream about a wedding but now, she wouldn't even want to think about it being canceled or postponed again or well being a disasterous date, her sister could be the blame for that second thought as well. She blushed a bit, without knowing as the question was raised how many times she had worn it, "It's more like holding it in front of the mirror." She didn't dare try it on, on her own, what if she stepped on it, broke of a flower or the jewelery on the front. Nope, no idea of doing that. Life with a wedding dress could have been so much easier if she still was able to simply requip, store it in the dimensional pocket and voila~ done. But someone on two of them, might have had an affect on her and changed it. She wondered if one of the twins used fire magic in the future and the other light but only time would tell.

Alice shook her head with a smile, "I will let you surprise me in that case." Before their topic turned towards her sensory spell and she pouted a little, thinking with how best to answer, "It isn't connected to my magic, I used to have a sensory spell with my Solar magic as well but this, I don't know really well how to explain it, it is something I got by joining the ranks as in.." she trailed off, she couldn't say Lieutenant because it wasn't true and she didn't know if Alisa knew any other knights but that would make a lot of sense, she stared at her hands in her lap as she sat upright again, well why not. She took a deep breath, "by joining the ranks of the Holy Knights." she muttered that only Alisa would be able to hear her, although she noticed Jupiter turning around to stare at her, "Please," she turned her golden eyes at her friend, pleading her with a silent question, "Don't mention it to anyone, apparently we are not allowed to say it, I am even half working for the Rune Knights still as a mentor and I can't be honest to them. It feels horrible but.. well, I try my best to just not mention it and just not lie." It wasn't entirely a relieved feeling, it did feel bad for hiding but it also felt bad for just spilling it out like this, it made her feel like a liar for not being honest before.

Alisa

WORDS: 550 | TAG: @alice | ALISA | LUMEN

What an interesting consideration... Could any of her companions yet have another form? Could Lumen herself have another form? Alisa wondered it too herself, however could she not while they discussed this subject. Alice seemingly agreed with her theory at least, but Alisa's other theory got a different sort of reaction. Alice blushed guiltily and Alisa giggled, raising her hand over her mouth in amusement:

"Well of course, slipping on a garment like that takes even longer than your average Kimono.", nodded the sculptress, agreeing to her statement like the no brainer it was, at least, for every girl who ever wondered how they'd look in in a wedding dress, which was, well, every girl?

Even Alisa who never saw herself as the marriage type couldn't help but wonder, after all, she found those some of the most beautiful dresses she'd ever seen, and in her favorite color to boot.

"Good choice~", praised the sculptress, nodding resolutely, "Prepare to be dazzled and amazed~", and with a last giggle, she'd let this subject rest for the time being, and instead debate another form of art she and Alice had in common: Magic.

Alisa had yet identify Alice as a Seraph, she'd yet to see her tattoos or even have any proof of whether all seraphs had one of those like Arisa did. Hell, she didn't even know Alice wielded light magic, the last time they fought together she had been a Requip using Knight. She hadn't seen that gun either, but for all she knew it could simply be a part of her summoning arsenal. But her answer came with a different name altogether, and as she heard it, her eyes widened:

"So they actually exist...", mused the sculptress, visibly impressed as she literally looked at Alice under a whole new light. She, one of her closest friends, a family woman and proud knight, was actually one of a secret, ecclesiastical order of knights few people believed existed, "Color me impressed..."

For the first time in her life, Alisa had an idea of the kind of people they actually recruited, hell, she had a formal idea they existed in the first place. Though visibly stunned in a way the further away Lumen scarcely understood, Alisa had more than enough clarity to smile reassuringly:

"Don't worry, I'll keep this secret with you~", she answered, resting her hand on the redhead's shoulder and nodding, properly turning to face her, resting both legs on one side, "I can't imagine a secretive order such as this would enjoy a member revealing her affiliation so someone like me. But you have enough to trouble yourself with as it is. Enjoy the perks, and try to remember where you came from."

These last words had a somewhat ominous tone, but Alisa still smiled, brimming with confidence that Alice would overcome whatever trial she mentioned. Like the Rune Knights and their strictness, formatting their members to think like them and in no other way, the Holy knights were simply more of the same, with a bit of religious zealotry mixed in. Alisa wasn't really religious, so she'd refrain from commenting on that part, but no way she'd sit back idly and watch her friends be brainwashed by cult-like orders...

Alice nodded more absent minded when they talked about the garment or well trying on the wedding dress, she remembered the pretty white colour, with a hint of blue and the flowers, the thing wasn't too much decorated what she liked at best and she wondered how people would react when they would see it. Would it fit her, what would she do with her hair, and.. she had to stop thinking else her mind might go in the wrong direction, so she kept focused on the feeling of beauty when it came to remeind herself of her wedding dress, everything would be fine. So she tried to answer the idea of the bachelorette party as best as she could, Alisa was a good friend, so it would be fine, she gave her a smile, be dazzled and amazed that was a good thing to try and remember, and she was sure the Blue Pegasus mage would be capable of letting her do that.

It been a tough decision and yet she was okay with telling Alisa, it wouldn't become a habit and she didn't plan to tell more people, it was up to Kon to tell Aleksandr but well let's not feel guilty about it. She was sure she could trust Alisa to understand the secrecy and to keep it a secret witht hat. She nodded to confirm the thoughts of her friend that they did excist. She gave a small smile but looked away, it was just a mingling of thoughts in her mind and she stared at Jupiter his golden eyes, of course he knew as well as Hecate, Ceres probably had not really noticed yet as they had kept her out of it for now. Until she was ready to really be a part of well what could be considered their team. Jupiter shortly turned around again and she wondered if he agreed at this point he wouldn't say anything about it anyway. She turned her head back to Alisa as she felt the reassuring hand on her shoulder which made her grateful, "Thank you." Now of course, there was one other being in this world that knew as well but Alice hadn't told her and she wondered how Asmodeus was doing.

She frowned a little when Alisa told her to remember where she came from and the tone in which her friend said it, not that she planned to tell Alisa but originally she came from Phantom Lord although she surely would not plan to go back there. She had joined the Rune Knights for the people, after the attack in Era and she believed that with the power of the Holy Knights she would be higher in place to be able to protect and she would not forget that. "I don't think I will I just need to figure out how to use a gun at this point, which sounds strange." a soft chuckle escaped her lips, "I got a gun from their ranks to use, but I have always been more of a spear wielder so it's something new."

WORDS: 520 | TAG: @alice | ALISA | LUMEN

Even if she said she'd come from Phantom Lord, Alisa wouldn't have judged her for it. She didn't even meant that particular history, but rather the person she was before joining the Holy Knights. The mother to those two beautiful kids and soon to be wife of that occasionally reliable character... After all, Alisa had a fair suspicion that the man she fought beside against Zade was the same one from the battle against that demon. If proven correct, he'd been a far more trustworthy ally the second time around than the first

"Well, that's not really hard is it?", Alisa asked, raising an eyebrow, closing one eye a she pointed her finger like a gun somewhere towards the lake, "Just point...", and then snapped that hand back slightly, as if absorbing the recoil, "And shoot."

Alisa had never actually wielded a gun in the heat of battle, but firing small, precise spells required a marksman's aim, something every mage should have and possibly Alice herself too.

"It's not too different from trying to hit an opponent with small spells.", she smiled and explained what little she did know, "Just control your breath, keep it steady while your arm stays tense, your elbow bent just enough to dampen the recoil", She let out an uneasy, admitting snicker at this, rubbing her forehead as she remembered the first time she tried shooting a high caliber gun.

As she ended her basic overview, Alisa looked at Alice to see whether any of that made sense thus far, or whether she expected there to be more to it. If so, the mastery she sought still stood within her grasp: All she needed to reach it... Was experience. Regardless, Alisa's eyes soon slid down, tooking in what manner of gun she'd chosen. And as she did, she squinted, frowing with visible interest. Was she really seeing what she thought she was seeing...?

"That gun...", she mused, turning her gaze up to look at Alice's, a sharp, inquisitive look on her face, "Where did you get it...?", she'd pause and let Alice answer her question, upon which she'd explain the reason behind her interest, "It shoots light element bullets, does it not...? I once fought a man who wielded the exact same weapon, but he discarded it after I beat him. A few months later, Lumen also fought a woman who had the exact same gun, only with darkness bullets."

All in all, Alisa had a fair share of experience with a such a weapon, as did Lumen. She looked at her partner, who simply played with her new friends, none the wiser to the two women's choice of subject. That woman sure did a number on her partner, firing her most powerful spell the moment her partner got too close. Simply thinking back on that made her nose twitch with an annoyed tinge, even if the battle had been mutually agreed on, she obviously wasn't happy to see her partner taken down like that.

Alice took the gun and placed it in her lap as they started to talk about it, she nodded. It shouldn't be that difficult in general but she wasn't entirely sure if she liked the thing. It reminded her of the cnversation with Akira and even if she still didn't believe she did anything wrong, she did shoot three people and that might be worse than pinning them down with a spear. It also gave her a quicker change to get infected to which it was nice to have the gun but she looked at Jupiter who had yelled at Akira and it had gone back down to square one thanks to that. He had told her later that he would never be so cruel to his superiours and that he was done with her questionaire on making Alice always seem like a bad person. She wasn't a monster, she tried to make the right decisions when time asked for it and if not everyone agreed with it than so be it but she couldn't always push and pull against or at Alice to do whatever she thought only to be right at that time.

"I don't know how to say it, I just don't like it, it feels so, what's the word? Definite? I mean I either hit or I miss and the hits can be quite a thing. I prefer to have that option as well, I must say I have only used it once and it had gone alright but, not everyone agreed that it was a good thing I did." She turned her golden eyes shortly at Alisa and back at the gun, she had actually not used it after the conversation with Akira, even if she promised her student to find a trainer for both of them.

She looked at her friend, of course there were lower ranked spells perhaps that made it not so definite and she nodded, giving a small smile as she noticed Alisa rubbing her forehead, "I got Jupiter mentioning that on time to not hit myself." To which her friend returned to her side and finally, changing into a human to join the discussion, although he said nothing yet. His clothing were a gray sort of pants from a suit and a white blouse, easy to relax in for the weather of the festival. Turning her head back to Alisa when she heard her say; that gun.

She turned her eyes back on Vash's White before back at Alisa. "From my boss." She said with more like a question at the end, unspoken and unworded but she didn't understand the question really, although soon enough Alisa explained more about it. She nodded with the next question Alisa asked her, she knew Vash wasn't knew as it had some minor scratches on it. She frowned with the last piece of information, "How did that fight with Lumen go?" Complain towards her yet fight companions, wasn't that just as harsh? She looked shortly up at Lumen to see her play with Ceres now and wondered shortly about it, she definitely didn't want to underestimate Lumen but she wasn't sure if she could, she wasn't even capable of fighting companions at this point but she surely didn't mind. Jupiter on the other hand clenched his fist, "So Akira can shoot bullets at Lumen but we can't for self protection. Duly noted."

"Definitely, guns have a longer range than spells, but unless you can catch an opponent off guard, they can easily dodge that... And if they can't, then odds are you wouldn't have needed the gun at all to take them down.", Alisa acknowledged, cupping her chin as she remembered why guns were never really her thing, "In the end, only by sneak attacking will you get some use off that gun that you wouldn't find in the average spell. I've never seen a gun shoot a spell infinitely stronger than regular magic. They're not even faster, just bigger and flashier."

She'd need a hand to shoot them so that's one less hand she could cast spells from, meaning the enemy could easily predict what kind of spell she'd fire from that gun and where she'd fire it towards. Alice had also probably realized that, but she'd perhaps not noticed how gun spells were hardly stronge than their hand cast counterparts. She had no clue of Alice's relationship with Akira, but given they were both knights - with one using light and the other dark magic - she had a fair share of guesses. Perhaps bitter rivals, maybe friendly opponents, but the sculptress struggled with seeing them as friend given the polar opposite nature of their personalities and magics.

"Well, guns are hardly my cup of tea, so I can't offer you much beyond theory and experience at the shooting range.", Alisa explained, an apologetic look tinging that smile, with visible disappointment at her inability to give her friend the guidance she needed. But as far as weapons went, she couldn't adequately use many beyond swords, and even those felt sketchy at best. She favored her fists first and foremost, after all...

Her answer didn't tell Alisa much, and it seemed that if she was really that curious, she'd have to ask this mysterious boss... She really wasn't... The gun had been discarded and must have laid there abandoned before someone picked it up. In the right hands, it would have found its way back to a market and thus returned to circulation, where any light aligned mage would inevitably acquire it:

"I'm impressed... Your boss takes better care of his employees than most.", praised the sculptress, leaning back as she looked up into the sky, just as a lone, stray cloud all but blocked out the sun's gleam ever so slightly, "Terrible.", she answered, no nonsense, without even looking back down at first, "It was over in a matter of seconds when the woman shot what I presumed was the biggest spell in her arsenal. There's no kill like overkill I guess... Luckly, Lumen wasn't too worse for wear."

With the way her voice turned a bit colder at that last part, one could guess Lumen's opponent had been the luckiest of all. If her trump card had killed Alisa's beloved partner, she wouldn't have left that arena alive.

"Well, she's hardly a bad person, though she's a bit twitchy on that trigger...", Alisa observed, though Jupiter's statement quickly drew her attention, "Her choice of spell may have been excessive but in the end that was her choice during a mutually agreed duel...", explained the sculptress, before turning back to Alice, "I take it you've tangled with her before...? That wouldn't surprise me at all~"

She chuckled, fully realizing just how these two women stood in diametrically opposite ends...

Alice listened to Alisa's explanation and only realised that she still didn't feel very comfortable with the idea of using a gun, she still prefered her own weapons as she had before, guns always seemed to be so impressive but as she had noticed with her fiance obtaining the Punisher from the Holy Knights, she didn't seem to be so interested in them. She nodded, "Losing my Requip magic just left me with no weapons or armour at all, I bought a spear in the Worth Woodsea but that thing was very shitty and I traded it back for my jewels. So I wouldn't look a gifted horse in the mouth, I mean he gave me this gun and a set of armour which I fit in now I'm not pregnant anymore but I am not sure if I'm really all too satisfied to use the gun. I mostly rely on the light saber I can make with my spells instead of Vash." She remembered the issue in the bar with that skeleton, relying on it when Silver asked her for a challenge or when T.K. did, never once did she first take Vash only back in Baska, when she wanted to stay far away from the infected beings.

But in this case; how to tell Midas. "I do notice I always depend on weapons, would be nice to have more ideas of not using weapons, especially after losing my magic." Which still felt very weird but she tried to not focus too much on it anymore, at least she was still able to use magic and the rest was a given for going all smoothly as well. She wasn't sure why midas gave it to her, perhaps to make sure she got proper items and so on, remembering that he gave the eye and the punisher to Kon, she frowned shortly but blamed her paranoia feelings for seeing things that weren't there and asked how Lumen had been doing opposite of Akira. Which had turned Jupiter closer towards them and opening his mouth to make a retort about it once the conversation gave him the option. She basically ignored him, no longer wanted to spike up the flames of the fire. She had blamed him, for the wrong going of the conversation, she had blamed herself for feeling attacked and letting her pride take the better hand and turning Akira away again. Perhaps she should just give up on the idea, not everyone had to like her but still it felt like she did something wrong all the time in the eyes of the other knight.

"I never said Akira is a bad person but..." Alice raised up her hand to shush Jupiter, "You did enough damage to that part of the conversation." she said with a stern look in her eyes, "Akira and I didn't have a good first meeting, we probably have a very different way of thinking and with that she seems to well blame is not the right word but at least not agree with my own decisions and just as we had a good conversation going on albeit perhaps with slight difficulty, I told her that I shot three people in Baska who were infected with a very strange virus, out of self protection to not get close to them and before I left I made sure they were fine, but that's not good enough. And perhaps it wasn't right but again that's a different matter of opinions and I don't believe I was wrong for doing so, I didn't kill them for example." She clenched her first, now she still talked to Alisa about what happened just when she didn't want to and she felt a hold on her left elbow to where Jupiter was sitting, he gave her a short look that could be seen as an apology, "But Akira isn't a bad person." she whispered. But on one hand it did teach her that Akira could make the same decisions as her; going all out, overkill perhaps but it was a mutual agreed dual and not like Alice her own.

Alisa refrained from asking how in the world had she managed such a thing as losing a magic with the power of Requip. To summon all manner of weapons out of thin air seemed like an almost godly ability, one that could instantly decide any kind of close range battle... Whatever the reason couldn't be a good one if such a knightly woman would part with so fitting an ability, and therein laid the reason behind the sculptress' restraint. Instead, she chuckled at the mention of shitty weapon, thinking back to that Katana she bought half a year back, only to later replace it with a graceful, tremendously powerful blade named Bakuzan:

"I know how that feels...", she confessed, rubbing her head and then grooming the loose strands of hair away from her eyes, "...It happens when you buy the cheapest weapons on the market. They may be good for human soldiers, but in a battle between mages, they scarcely endure even the slightest damage."

That Katana was indeed beautiful. But this time, even for Alisa, just depending on beauty would never be enough. On the other hand, the redhead's dependency on weapons defenitely posed an equally serious problem, one she hoped she'd eventually strive to overcome, sooner rather than later:

"Why not just use your fists?", suggested the sculptress, fully laying down on her side, propping her head up on her forearm as she looked at Alice inquisitively, "You don't need magic power to punch people, and if you're close enough to swing a sword, odds are you're close enough to throw a kick too."

Her boss giving her a gun might have felt the weapon suited her somehow, but how much he actually knew of Alice's fighting style really was just anyone's guess. He could have just felt annoyed at her lack of equipment, or wanted to encourage her to use a light element weapon fitting of her ecclesiastical affiliation:

"She isn't indeed...", Alisa shook her head, "We came to an interesting, mutual understanding after all was said and done."

They actually had more in common than Alice might guess, with a keen, possibly even destructive tendency of doing everything their way, and to hell with the consequences. Neither really felt afraid of speaking their mind either, and in the end that made their exchanges quite interesting. Though Alice hardly felt the same way and Alisa wanted to know why: Lumen herself took an interest in this part of the conversation; despite the beatdown, she never harbored any ill will towards the dark woman, even if she'd likely try to win if they ever fought again.

"If they're alive, then everything's alright. I've dealt with a similar plague there at some point.", she confessed, tugging up the fabric of her kimono just as it started slipping down from her shoulder; she really didn't see what Alice had to feel bad about, "She'd have probably done the same, as would I."

Alisa obviously cared a lot less about hurting people, and it hadn't anything to do with feeling justify it. She'd do it without a second thought if she felt she needed to, and wouldn't feel bad until later. There's no room for second thoughts on the battlefield, no time for hesitation. Doing so could cost one their life.

Hell, Alisa and Akira even accepted they could eventually end on opposite sides on a battlefield and fight without mercy, and that knowledge failed to sour their relationship in the slightest. With this budding bond of mutual respect, Alisa yet hoped she'd meet her again sometime soon.

"She has a different way of doing things, far too different if you consider the standard Rune Knight...", Alisa commented, trying her best not to stick that label on Alice herself who she did indeed deem the ideal Knight, "She'd have made herself a better home in a guild like Lamia Scale, if you ask me..."

Why not indeed just use her first, she had done that a couple of times when she could use the wolverine like claws as a neko but that still didn't mean her fist really, "I don't know to be honest." she looked at her hands, wondering if she was afraid something might happened to her hands but she doub tit as she had burned her hand simply in fighting. "I never trained like that, perhaps I should." clenching her hands into fists, it would be a nice way to do so and it gave her something to look forward to.

Their conversation turned to Akira and Alice didn't want to say anything bad or not phrased correctly, she looked at Jupiter who rolled his eyes and looked with an angry face away, "Tell that to the person who shot a spell at you and probably whines when you send one back out of defense. She doesn't-", but he stopped talking as Alice looked at him furiously, "We simply do not agree on matters and if I am the one to take the hits than so be it, the Knighs asked me to keep an eye on her out of protection and guidance than so be it" She said more furiously to Jupiter than she intended but it was her companion putting oil on the fire and she didn't want that. She turned her eyes back at Alisa, giving her an apologetic look as she wasn't entirely sure what she should have done, it wouldn't stop that was the problem. "I doubt she would have but perhaps it is because she didn't understand the situation, she called them sick people, I more call them crazy people." She tried to shrug, but truth be told, she did care too much about what people thought of her, at this point it had gone rather well, her students liked her apart from Akira, her friends and well she obviously didn't care about Lacie but why she held on so much she didn't really know. "Perhaps would Lamia Scale fitted her better, I still don't really figure out why she picked the Rune Knights as she doesn't seem to be happy but if it's what she want, I won't refrain her from trying, she seems to be doing a good job." She should find a different topic to talk about, as it made her tired and unhappy.

Alisa remembered how Alice used to be a cat girl, and likely had those clawing assets to help her deal with opponents up close. Perhaps even then she'd have benefitted from martial arts, but she obviously got by without them... And how about now? Well, the way she saw it saw it, the knight needed the skills now more than ever:

"Yes, you defenitely should. That kind of knowledge could save your life one day.", encouraged the sculptress, that serious, determined look on her face leaving it quite clear how she felt about this. No mage could afford to go without a fair bit of knowledge on martial arts. Alisa for one started out as a martial artist, and her magical skills only came after.

She couldn't help but glancing at her own fist, thinking back to all the enemies she'd defeated with no other weapon at her side. Some of whom had even died to her fierce, well targeted blows. She passed on some of that knowledge to Lumen, and at times tried passing it on to her student, Liana, and her junior, Esperia. But Alice had as much experience as Alisa did in this life, she'd likely not turn to her for lessons, nor would the sculptress strive too hard to beat that knowledge into her... No, she had to find her own path, not unlike how Akira did - perhaps a bit too well:

"That doesn't sound like her at all.", noted the sculptress, who nonetheless remembered how the dark gunner tried to play that fight out to secure an absolute advantage for herself. Unsightly it may be during a sparring match, such a pragmatic fighting style could eventually turn her into a ruthless, dangerous fighter when she arrived at the point of using it as such.

She could tell Alice wasn't too fond of her, but Jupiter showed a lot more acceptance towards these feelings. The redhead showed a fair bit of restraint as she discussed her, either due to her own moderation or courtesy towards Alisa who already showed a fair amount of respect for the shorter knight:

"Whatever you call them matters little, fighting on the field means making difficult decisions in a split second. At the end of the day, if you avoid senseless death you've done a good enough job to feel proud of.", Alisa spoke as reassuringly as she could, for she doubted Alice might feel better regardless of what the tall woman told her.

In the end she alone could cope with the consequences of her actions, she alone could judge them. Nobody who didn't stand in that position, feeling that kind of pressure, had the right to presume what she should have done. But most of all, the Knight hardly looked overjoyed at debating either this subject or Akira, and thus, the sculptress let either of them rest. At this point though, Alisa looked intently at that bright gun, then at the lake, and finally smiled, standing up from her comfortable resting place as she ran her hands down the fabric of her kimono:

"Why don't you try shooting your gun into the air, towards the water? Lock on to a fixed point, perhaps a could up in the distance... And see how well your shot stays on course."

Yea that was true, considering that if she had no ability to cast magic because lack of magical power or no way to fight with a weapon, she should definitely get better with fist fights and kicks for that matter, "Be my trainer." she said with a chuckle because well she could use one perhaps even more for the motivation to do something in the right way than go overboard. She didn't know how she simply could forget, she got the basic ideas but to be fair as far as she could remember she had only teached herself. She knew how she got her magic, she had trained intensly, she wasn't born with it but born with the potential to get a magic and as she had formed and mended it in a way that she wanted, it got to the point that she became a requip mage and in the end now the Solar mage, which was a whole different strategy and she surely had to figure out how to bestly handle that.

"Well perhaps that has to do with no.." she wanted to say no respect for me, but she sighed and shut her mouth, she wasn't being nice now either, she was simply disappointed for being constantly on the verge of doing something wrong in the eyes of her pupil even if she.. why did she think about this again. She had to stop herself and she looked at Alisa and gave her an apologizing look, "It frustrates me more than I want to admit." She said with a wry smile. She actually really wanted a good bond with Akira, they didn't have to be friends but she also didn't want to be bickering against or about each other but have this mutual respect, apparently too much to ask. She looked up as Alisa spoke to her again and nodded, giving a real honest smile, she was right, no matter how they would all approach a situation Alice agreed that as long as no innocents were dying and in the end were thus saved it was worth it. "I shouldn't lose my focus as that has been my goal all along." to protect the innocent might sound dumb and heroic but it was what she had thought anyway.

She let her mind mingle a bit more before turning to Alisa and nodding, "I could try." and she stood up, to be sure she held her gun so she wouldn't be hit by the backlash and held it steady for now with two hand, she didn't feel comfortable yet to hold it with one. She wanted to close one eye but made sure to keep her eyes on the fixed point, a cloud in a strange shape. In the end she decided to let go and hold the Vash's White Revolver steady with her right hand, to shoot one bullet, sending the most magical power she could through it.

Bullet:

Alisa

WORDS: 600 | TAG: @alice | ALISA | LUMEN

"Are you sure about that...?", Alisa asked, calmly looking into the redhead's eyes as if measuring her resolve, "I'm not the type to hold back."

Sure, she could avoid accidentally killing or permanently injuring her sparring partners, but that alone took a significant level of effort. Someone as strong as Alice could likely fight Alisa somewhat evenly though, but the stronger her opponent, the more Alisa focused on winning. And the knight had long passed the point where a mere technical training might bear any real fruit.

Her unfinished reply did tempt Alisa's curiosity, the taller woman raising her brow as if she expected Alice to finish that sentence. She probably wouldn't, she wasn't really the type to rant about people to others. Even if she could probably benefit from getting some of that frustration out of her chest. Well, the sculptress hoped she at least had someone else with whom she'd do that, and trusting that, she allowed the subject to rest; "I can imagine..."

Truly, she wouldn't have become a Rune Knight if she wasn't prepared for such decisions. Anybody can act self righteously, but few among those can challenge their own notions of right and wrong while pursuing the greater good. Alisa idealized the Rune Knights as such, but cynically understood how - for most of them anyway - that ideal couldn't be further from the truth.

With a heavy dose of corruption, incompetence, and lack of principles, the general public hardly viewed the Knights in a good light.

Alice had moved beyond that now though, and the artist knew little of her new affiliation. Too little to make reliable judgement, though their secretive nature naturally inspired a hefty dose of scepticism towards their supposedly benevolent intentions.

If Alice were to use this affiliation to carry out her goals, she'd need power to assert her will as needed. And she wouldn't attain that strength without proper mastery of every tool in her arsenal. As she stood up and took her stance, the raven haired woman hung back, crossing her arms and examining her stance:

"You've no need to start out with something that big. Not unless you're sure you can finish off your foe.", Alisa corrected, approaching her. She'd reach for the woman's gun. If she allowed, she'd move on to a more practical demonstration. Though not exactly a master, Alisa had more than enough training to master the most basic technique for one handed shooting, guaranteeing the ability to put down an enemy should it be the only weapon capable of securing victory.

She held the grip tightly, concentrating her force on the front and back. She aimed not exactly at the center of the small cloud, but a bit further below. And when she pulled the trigger, the recoil knocked it up enough to help the shot right on target. The second shot came right after, as she lowered the gun to its initial position. After firing those two shots, Alisa pumped her magic power into the gun, and fired a third shot. This last bullet went lower, and would have hit the ground near the imaginary opponent, before exploding in a dazzling display of light. After seeing this attack used twice, Alisa had no trouble replicating it, and in the end, twirled the gun around and returned it to Alice with a calm smile:

"You should focus on mastering the recoil first, and shooting with one hand.", she explained, as Lumen watched the skies in awe of the fireworks produced, "Any skilled opponent knows you can't unleash big attacks like those over and over, and will likely try to exploit the opening after you use it. So when do, make it count."

The first two shots would either stagger an opponent, or get them on the move. And once they got moving, she could follow their path and ideally antecipate them. She had plentiful ways of going about this, and in the end only she could decide which worked best for her.

Nastasya
She wasn't sure but on one hand it wasn't because she did want Alisa to hold back, "I won't ask that from you, I'm no longer pregnant, so I will survive." Everyone had been so tenderly around her when she was pregnant, she was pregnant, not incapable and now she was no longer, she needed to train people from her own caliber or perhaps higher so she would learn more. She simply stared at her lap, because she definitely needed someone to explain to her how it worked for the best, some tricky moves that would do fine, she had always depended on weapons, she had cheated in a fight too when she was a neko to win, but that was to protect her cousin. The hell where was Selena now, did that stupid slime girl take her away from Alice?

She had to let that go too, she wouldn't be able to find her like this and she had asked and was on the look out but if that worked was a second question. As they spoke about Akira, she broke off her own sentence, softly biting her own tongue not to continue but the red head realized that she might just be jealous because there was a mutual understanding between Akira and Alisa while they didn't seem to agree on topics either, Alice had the feeling Alisa would have exactly done the same as she said, and yet Akira.. "Perhaps it's just because I'm her mentor that she would have an immediate disliking for me." Because when she remembered that first day, well she had never been really polite to Alice, no matter what she tried and as she had been pregnant, it had perhaps triggered emotions and hormones too fast but, she didn't want to swift the blame into Akira her being, they just didn't agree on ways and Alice would be fine with that if Akira was too without looking at the red haired knight as if she commited every crime that was possible.

But everything was done now, the conversation about that was done now and Alice would see how it goes when she would meet Akira or Hatsuharu again, the latter she had only seen once before, but he seemed to be doing fine as Akira had said, thank god they were still depending on each other. She hadn't meant to anger them but she was sure they formed with the two of them a better team than anyone else.

She gave a shot, to see how much power that thing could muster without feeling like she was exploding and exploiting it. She turned her eyes to Alisa and handed her the gun to see what she meant. She simply nodded with the explanation, especially the recoil and using one hand, if she mastered that, she could use her other hand to still use spells in case it was necessary, but for some reason, she didn't feel a drawback on the spell she just used, she could try again. She moved up her arm once the explosion of the last spell happened because of the amount of light but it seemed Ceres and Lumen seemed to enjoy it and people on the other side thought it belonged to the concert, wonderful idea, no one felt harmed or the need to be afraid.
