Alisa

The city had turned into a royal mess in the wake of the battle, but such was to be expected considering the whole purpose of this war had been to kill the king. Plenty of complicated political hassles sprung forth from this act and the sculptress doubted even a small amount of those might see closure soon... But for the time being, they had to persevere, keep living out their lives as normal, and hopefully everything would be back to normal soon. And this time, without the slavery Zade spoke of. Though Alisa regretted nothing of her choice to fight Grimoire Heart, she also knew that had she heard about this herself, she'd have undoubtedly tried to do something about it:

"Too late for that now I guess...", she mused aloud to herself, splashing some water on her face, trying to wake up in full before slipping on her mission attired, once a larger collection that now comprised Junketsu almost exclusively.

For all its power, her new armor limited her in what manner of outfits she could wear on the job, which rather annoyed Alisa when she thought about it. Thus, she tried not to think about it too much as she instead awoke Lumen from her sleep, calmly nudging her adorable Litwick before heading out to meet Arisa.

Sitting there on a glazed dark wooden bench, she relaxed. Her mind on the other hand wasn't relaxing like one would think after battling against what she believed was evil. She thought of what the man said, what their goals were intended to do and what they accomplished. The leader or who was believed to be a leader let go of the slaves and harmed to commoner - so was she, herself a bad guy? Her heart was beating as she clenched her fist, slamming it once against the bench. ''Am I a bad guy?! Was I doing this all wrong all along?'' she wondered and shook her head. ''I just didn't know better is all... Right? If I knew.... if I knew they had slaves and the such I would've probably been on the other side.'' she whispered to herself with a sorrowful expression on her face.  She remembered the last people she saw, the last battle she was in. What a flashback it was at the ending...

~Her eyes of golden suns gazed at them all as she moved away from the walls that were there. She stayed silent as she saw a woman with some giant-like magic - not the race like her past friend Jeeroy. She  missed him so and then came a man and a woman who she was curious about. Arisa studied like she did best and with a close look she gazed at the man who's invisible spell broke off. He had shady brown hair and a calm featured face when passed out.

She wasn't far away from the woman with black hair and peacefully Arisa watched her like some typical guardian angel. 'I'm quite curious about you...' she thought angelic-like and sighed. Her head tilted up as she looked at the sky. 'Was defending the Royals truly the best choice?' she thought as she tried to think of what that guy said, the one she helped fight before coming here. ''Perhaps we will meet again...'' she did speak to the woman of black hair. Maybe the man could've heard her right then and there, but for now it was just towards her. With that, Arisa flew off since she didn't want her appearance to distract.~

That was the last she will see them most likely. The only guy who was suspicious was of course the brooding one that wanted to take the enemies body. A tear fell from her right eye as she gazed forward at nothingness. She felt lost and perhaps a little different than she was. It was as if she was drifting away mentally. 'Oh Ari... what have I done.' she heard a voice that seemed distant. Her golden pupiless eyes gazed towards left and then right to end up seeing nothing. ''It was nothing....'' she spoke to herself and enjoyed the nice feeling air, clean fresh air smell and seeing no more battles for now.

Of course, Alisa kept that man and his words firmly in her mind, though she didn't really regret fighting Grimoire Heart. She wouldn't even hadn't they killed her master. She did, however, regret not noticing the slavery happening right underneath her nose, something most people with even a hint of decency would never abide for. Whether they called it 'establishment' or a 'necessary evil' mattered very little to the sculptress, whose desire for freedom naturally extended towards others who might feel their freedom supressed by unscrupulous sorts. However, she also realized abolishing slavery as a legal institution wouldn't immediately free those held in chains - who'd take time to get used to the idea of freedom - nor erase it perceived necessity by those who practiced it.

In the end, so long as those with power needed something from those without it, and those without it needed something to survive, they'd always find themselves at the mercy of those capable of fulfilling those needs. How would the poor eat if not given money by others able to afford it? Who would pay for their doctors when they got sick? It would take people some time to realize this, and when that happened, the unrest could surpass even that which led to this war.

Unscrupulous people would still exist, and they'd find a new, supposedly legal way to suppress and harness the weak as they damn well pleased... Both her and her best friend pondered on similar matters this morning, and soon their entwined fates would lead them together a few good minutes earlier than the crystal mage anticipated:

"Oh... Ari?", Alisa greeted, somewhat surprised to find Arisa not inside her hotel but at the park right next to it, perhaps anticipating the sculptress would arrive this way. Scarce sunbeams pierced through the gaps in the canopies forming a dazzling, shaded display of morning sunlight, welcoming the dark haired woman as she and Lumen approached the very avatar of light, who looked her prettiest under the sun's warm glow, "Good morning~"

Her head nodded off as her eyes closed like some person falling asleep. Her lovely eyes gazed no where besides the darkness that falls from her eyelids and the small light that tries to creep into the small space. She moves a little, gets comfortable while her hands clench the bench. ''Why am I here? Truly... I feel although I belong else where...'' she spoke her native tongue that escape her full beautiful lips.

Her hands clenched the bench tighter with frustration till she heard a familiar voice. It spoke to her. Who? She did... Alisa did. ''Eh..?'' she spoke dumbfounded and then opened her bright eyes of golden to end up looking up towards her. She looked the same as ever while she always ended up different herself. ''Alisa ...'' she drifted off that name with a pause and then spoke once more after a couple of seconds. ''Good morning... yes.'' she spoke and looked away, left and right as if she was questioning things silently. She nodded off again as her eyes wandered in different directions as if not knowing what to really look for. She felt confused, but Arisa looked up at Alisa once more.

''So what are you up to?'' she asked in her soft low tone of hers'. ''Is it time to eat?'' she spoke, feeling a swirling pain in her stomach making her hands squeeze the mid-point of her stomach and lean back against the bench. 'You're hungry... Perhaps you should have a taste.' spoke a husky female voice in her head. 'No..' she thought. ''Just shut up...'' she whispered quietly filled with hatred. Her eyes squinted and lazily got up with gravity and force with a push of her hands. Her arms next dangled loosely as she felt tired, hungry and angry... ''Let us go eat.'' she spoke sweetly with a sheepish smile.

Once more, she spoke in that language Alisa didn't really understand... Sinese. The more time she spent with Arisa though, the more she felt like she should probably learn it, for no reason other than to understand what her friend so often mumbled to herself.

"We have some missions to take care of, remember~?", she teased somewhat playfully, hand on her hip, wondering if her friend actually remembered. Then again, Alisa might not have been to assertive on that topic, so she wouldn't feel any surprise should Ari not actually recall her mentioning it, "But indeed, we should get some breakfast before getting to that."

That cold, almost venomous whisper didn't escape Alisa's ears, yet she skillfully concerned any concerned look for her friend, so as not to trouble her. Whatever she might be struggling with, she'd help as much as she could, yet for the most part all the sculptress could do was stand there, supporting the girl as all three of them started heading towards the nearest café:

"Ara... Whoever might you be talking to?", inquired the sculptress, brow raised, crossing her arms gracefully. Not for a moment did she imagine such a comment might be directed at her, yet she also knew her best friend's past had left deeper scars than what one might see with their eyes.

Her eyes of golden suns gazed and wandered around the area. There were many people walking about and acting as if a war never happened. Her facial expression was continuously sheepishly. Her right hand slid right to the left side of her forehead. 'Ugh, such a headache...' she thought as she slanted her eyes, gazing downward at the ground. Her skin felt oily and it disgusted her. The sun made things worse due to the heat that was creating oily sweat, sliding alongside her cheek and onto her medium sized chest. Her best friend spoke to her as she was in her own mind, asking who she was talking to. ''Huh?'' she shook out of it somewhat, still in some sloth-like fashion, but straight postured.

She turned straight towards Alisa and tilted her head with a smile. ''Oh no one... just myself.'' she spoke and started to walk to some place to go eat. ''Where shall we go to go eat for today?'' she wondered. Her stomach, her mouth and teeth... they all felt hungry for something that was not allowed, flesh. Why was she hungry for it? Was that why she had that dream or vision when her and Baron ate those toxic candies? She remembered eating that woman's neck as she was alive, but she really didn't do that did she? Her stomach kept growling and her head was hurting with intense pain. ''You uh... pick where we go this time, yea?'' she questioned while using her left hand to rub her eyeball since it itched at that moment. Her hands then left to dangle against her sides while her wide hips motioned left and right.

For once Alisa paid very little attention to the citizens, whatever few of them she could spot at these early hours. Instead, she directed most of her focus to the angelic blonde, trying to wonder just what might be going on inside that shimmering head of golden. The way she rubbed at her forehead hinted at pain, drawing ALisa closer as if her presence could soothe her somewhat... Hoping it could, otherwise she really didn't know what might...

"Again hmm~", the sculptress teased with a caring smile, petting her best friend's shoulder, looking into her eyes curiously, then turning to gaze elsewhere. A sweet, pleasant smell of freshly poured coffee and baked bread invaded their nostrils the moment they stepped into the wider avenue, with Lumen aimelessly finding herself further and further drawn towards the opening café, until she ground to a halt in front of one of them. Alisa giggled. Neither of the two women could decide all that quickly, but Alisa's companion clearly could, "...Or else Lumen will pick it for us. How's this place look?"

As Lumen looked at the two women expectantly, Alisa gave Ari the same look, petting her companion and wondering how the angel might feel about it. It defenitely made the tall woman hungry as a faint rumble left her tummy, enough to bring an embarassed redness to her cheeks.

"Let's just stay here shall we...?", she'd finally insist if Ari hadn't decided yet, all but grabbing the blonde's hand and guiding her to the nearest table as a charming looking waiter soon came to greet them with a smile and a menu. But everything smelled delicious...!

She continued to walk with her friend, Alisa. Rather or not this was going to go well or good enough, she went along with it. Arisa trusted Alisa so she was going to just go along with whatever. 'You sure you know what you're doing with your life, child?'. She was questioned by some voice that didn't even tell her their name. She couldn't tell if it was a male's voice or female's voice as it was quite unisex. She ignored the voice and looked at the companion of her best friend's, Lumen. Quite an interesting name it was, but it didn't matter much as it was time to eat - before she ate something/someone she would later regret eating. 'Give in... Give in to the hungry that is boiling within.' another voice spoke that was quite a husky yet alluring tone from a woman.

Her stomach growled, she gulped slowly as her golden eyes gazed back at Alisa who then grabbed her hand since her mind didn't process what Lumen and Alisa said earlier. She was being quite daft for those who didn't know her, but this was a serious issue to those that knew her problems. ''Al-alright...'' she spoke softly while unknowningly speaking. Following the leader she was, as they went to find a cafe table. The area had stripped wallpaper of black and white - quite an eyesore to her with paintings of cute pictures of valleys, houses and animals. The people were wearing regular suits as the women wore dresses of maids. 'Quite ordinary. Disgusting.' thought the dark toned woman in her mind. ''I suppose...'' she whispered back to the voice in her head. She kept a steady pace with Alisa as they found their seat, finally sitting by a window in the far corner of the cafe. The seats were stools which were awful, even if the cushion was comfortable. She had to have a seat with a back to it for her back to lean and rest.

''This is quite alright...'' she spoke as her attention was towards Alisa and gave a genuine smile. Her head turned as the waiter bowed, gave them the menu of food and spoke. ''What shall you ladies have for drinks on this fine day?'' he gazed at them both with his squinting-like eyes of brown with the glint of green in them. His hair was silky black and he was quite tall - about as tall as she was if not a couple inches taller. Her face blushed and then coughed, looking away. ''I... I will have urm...'' she spoke in her accent in which made the guy open his eyes a little more as if he noticed something. He looked away and waited for them to give the order. Arisa on the other hand looked at her menu and saw what she wanted. ''I'll have strawberry fizzpop, please.'' she spoke shyly and kept her gaze away from him. After Alisa gave out her order for drinks, he left. Arisa felt quite awkward and she didn't even know why.

With the blonde's acceptance, the two of them finally entered that café for breakfast. The whole time the sculptress kept her eyes on her best friend as they stepped indoors, suspecting she may be feeling under the weather and knowing how in that case it would be up to the crystal user to support her. Alisa heard her stomach growl back there, so no doubt she must be feeling quite hungry right? Or so she thought, but once the waiter showed up and Ari actually placed her order, her eyes widened slightly, cool smile fading ever so subtly. No way... Just that?!

"A coffee, an orange juice and a croissant for me, and half a dozen macarons for her...", Alisa smiled classily at the waiter and returned the menu to him, showing no hint of those emotions to anyone but Arisa once the two were left alone again. To hear Ari order so little food genuinely troubled Alisa, who looked at her and frowned with a hint of worry, "What's on your mind, Ari...?"

Last time she saw the angel eating this little, she'd apparently fallen out with her lover, the only kind of pain capable of taking away her appetite as such. She rested her elbows on the table, and her chin over her interlocked fingers, fixing her eyes on the blonde's. She'd come to think of Arisa as her sister, and such made an obvious sign like this effectively impossible to miss. Soon enough, the waiter came back with food and drinks, and the martial artist noted how her friend's tone grew lower and bashful, how she struggled to even meet his gaze... Even through her concern, Alisa had a pretty good idea what this meant:

"So he's your type, huh~?", she'd tease, doing all she could to lighten the blonde's mood as she raised an eyebrow and cupped her cheek, taking a sip of her coffee while the tall waiter headed off. Lumen had been absently oggling her food and yet the moment she heard this her attention perked visibly, curiously glancing between Alisa and Arisa...

The man that was the waiter seemed interesting. Something about him was familiar. Her eyes cornered to watch him corner his eyes at her - they saw each other gazing at another. No, this wasn't a sight of affection as it was more of a 'I think I know you' kind of look. Arisa didn't want to eat at this moment as her stomach wanted flesh, not human food unless one meant the literal term of 'human' food. She looked and heard Alisa make a joke of asking if he was her type, making her jump a little and blush. Her hand caressed against her own cheek on the left side as her head turned to look away from Alisa. ''N-no! It's just I believe he's from my Country is all...Quite rare.'' she started to speak, rumbling off. ''Plus, the man I have now is my type.'' she spoke more as she then thought of his appearance. They did look familiar from another, but they were two different people for sure as some features were different.

''A lot of things seem to be going wrong with me now-a-days... I'm afraid.'' she spoke coldly, but softly with a frown on her beautiful lips and turned to face Alisa once more. The glass was sat down, but by a waitress instead. 'Did that waiter leave or did he not want to serve them now?' she wondered. She nodded to the woman and took her drink to obviously drink up. It tasted nice, refreshing and she could feel the carbs hitting her body. A deep sigh escaped her lips and closed her eyes almost all the way. ''I'm not sure what to do with myself anymore. I know I'm not human, but all the same, I feel indifferent...'' she spoke quietly to not alarm people around her. ''Also... '' she started again and looked at Alisa. ''How have you been? We fought that man and than we got separated. I had to help some Rune Knights defeat another...'' she spoke and put down her drink.

Too cute~ She may deny it but that reaction answered for her, making Alisa tilt her head further at the endearing sight, listening as Ari further assured the sculptress she only had eyes for her man. Alisa didn't really doubt that, yet she also knew what she just saw. Meaning this guy probably resembled her lover a great deal, in turn meaning Alisa could watch him and get a clue towards the appearance of this mysterious lover. Still resting her cheek on her palm, she turned her neck and kept her eyes on him for a while longer, enough to catch him staring at the blonde:

"Wow, pretty tall...", she observed, not really having paid that much attention to the guy until now. Yet that appreciation lasted comparatively little, for when Ari's worried words reached her ears, Alisa reached out across the table in turn, holding her best friend's hand with a caring look in her eyes. She didn't speak at first, merely listening to her in silence, "Being human has nothing to do with it... If you feel lost, you just need to find your way again, right? You can take however long you need. I'll be with you the whole way."

She didn't really know if these words could do anything to help her, so she kept her hand over Ari's, occasioanlly watching Lumen gleefully scarf down her macarons while Alisa calmly drank her coffee, letting the caffeine shock away the last remnants of slumber, like the rising sun vaporizing away the last of the morning dew...

"As good as usual, I guess...", answered Alisa, rubbing behind her head, then adjusting her head. She obviously didn't know how to feel about this war, "I always felt I couldn't trust the monarchy... But after this war, I trust them even less. I hunted down one of the enemies before the king was killed, and I'll do it again even if these people fancy themselves 'the law' now."

And she still wanted to kill them, far more than the last one. The previous King may be detestable, but he'd never actually been on Alisa's hit list. Not unlike this one... Soon, they finished their breakfast, and Alisa placed some jewels on the table, covering both her and Ari's meals before pushing away the chair and standing up:

"Well, time to go meet our client.", she'd smile at her friend, guiding her outside towards where the client said she'd be.

A court mage named Merlin, who'd adapted all too quickly to the new leadership. Understandably so since the last king was hardly loved, and the only ones who'd miss him were those who stood to gain anything from his rule. This woman's goals however, were hardly political: She merely wanted help in escorting a rather precious order into Crocus...

She thought of the guy who didn't come back and honestly it made her miss Noel even more. Her eyes slanted while her mirror eyes just looked at her drink. The pink swish and waved like a pink ocean within the large margarita glass. Slowly she leaned her head downward, departed her lips to take a drink from the straw that sucked up the fluid of bubbly goodness. Her mind went forward while her body and time itself was in slow motion. She remembered being in darkness, fearing it, but yet she was with someone who was all about it. She licked her lips slowly to moisture them and then looked forward at Alisa. Her hair was black as ever, eyes red... She never changed since they first met yet here she was, changing so many times.

She was an experiment, an invention. There was nothing wrong with that as she didn't want pity. That was fiction of course as she didn't know for sure. She nodded as she snapped out of it and heard Alisa talk about how it was time to go, to go do their mission. So many things to do, so many missions they have done in the past. When was it ever going to end? There was never an ending for her. 'Ugh.' she thought and shook her head. She walked out without saying anything as her head started to hurt more. '' Excuse me...'' she spoke as she went passed people without looking at them. Her hand was against her temple by her left hand. The heat that was coming from her head was intense.

'I'll just wait out here.' she thought as she felt like going crazy. ''What am I?'' she questioned in a soft whisper. She waited outside, leaned against the building's wall. Something was eating her, the light felt too bright, but shouldn't she be used to it? 'No... Leave me alone.' she thought and swayed back and forth with her body as she stood still and leaned.

When she saw Ari ask to be left alone while the sculptress went to meet the client, she simply frowned... Clearly Alisa hardly felt even the slightest hint of fondness towards this idea, but finally sighed, realizing it might be better to leave her to it than actually try to force her to come along for something she clearly held no interest in. Sure, most of their missions were hardly interesting and the two of them completed them even with one hand tied behind their back... But Ari seldom looked this far off her game. Thus, when Alisa walked back outside and heard her mumbling to herself, she did the only thing she could:

"Still mumbling to yourself huh...?", with a caring smile, she rested her arm around her tall friend and pulled herself close, planting an affectionate kiss to her cheek. Alisa felt no fear towards the demons haunting her friend, her love towards her best friend deafening out everything else uncontested, "Your thoughts can't eat away at your spirit if you don't let them."

With this, Alisa headed towards the edge of the Capital, leading herself, Lumen and Arisa to cross over half the city on foot, and once they finally got to the checkpoint, they still had to wait for the Caravan. Well, so long as the rains didn't come back, Alisa felt perfectly comfortable just leaning against the walls, keeping her eyes firmly on Arisa, staying close to her if she felt teh girl preoccupied with enemies within rather than outside. And this way, before they knew it, the caravan finally arrived. Alisa showed them Merlin's letter, and they invited the three women on board. Alisa took her seat next to the driver. The men complained the whole way - as they had clearly been doing before - and hoped to vent their frustration with the job on Alisa and Arisa... Yet they found no compassion from the sculptress, who merely frowned, crossing her arms under that generous bust:

"You're being paid handsomely to do this job... You had nothing to complain about that part, I assume...?", she pointed out, coldly, leaving the driver grumbling to himself...

Outside she waited for Alisa while thinking like always. Her golden eyes of mirrors gazed downward towards the ground while her rump was against the wall of the building they were just in. Her arms on the other hand were crossed against her medium sized chest. One foot was on the building with the knee outward while the other stood straight, keeping her balance. The time felt like forever, but simply it was only a minute or two. When Alisa came out, she heard Arisa talking to herself. Of course she responded towards it which made her too respond back. ''Perhaps...'' was all she said. Her stomach was hungry, but for now she tended to hold the want to eat.

Yawning and stretching, she motioned her body forward to stand up then straight and tall. Her blonde medium hair was flowing in its own heavenly way while she walked with her dear best friend who could pass as her sister when it came to feels. Truthfully, even if Yasuki was her half sister by blood, Alisa was more of a sister than anyone who would appear as family. They went forward and ignored all that was in their way till they met eyes-to-eyes with the client. She looked familiar for some reason, but she couldn't put her tongue on the facts nor answers. She just followed Alisa, waited for Alisa to explain to her and Arisa would do what needed to be done. Once they chatted with the client, it was pretty much explained that they needed to watch some merchandise or stuff within stuff that is. It didn't matter as long as they got paid, right? ''Let's go then.'' she just simply spoke, ignoring the client in a calming manner. Her hands reached and rested against the back of her own head, strands of hair through her soft nimble fingers. Finally, Arisa waited and followed the 'leader'.

Indeed, everything about this mission just screamed 'simplicity itself' and Alisa struggled to look at it as anything beyond that. That said, it was still a B-rank mission, and because of its sheer rank alone, the sculptress also approached it with a measure of care. It seemed like whatever Merlin wanted escorted was indeed quite valuable - attesting to the mission's rank - and like any good travelling mage ought know, valuables naturally attract unsavory characters willing to do whatever to get their grubby hands on it. Merely thinking of this fatality of human nature sullied Alisa's mood if she dwelled on it too much, reminding her how her mother had lost her life to the very same reason.

"Hey, did anyone tell you boys what you were carrying~?", Asked the sculptress, brow raising curiously, lips drawing into a soft, almost seductive smile. And once she leaned in, squeezing her generous bust between her biceps ever so softly, the previously annoyed guy's face lit right up... Yet he still couldn't answer her question. He scratched his temple apologetically, dodging the subject to the best of his abilities... Clearly not comfortable with spewing an outright lie. So they didn't know... Good... This put Alisa significantly more at ease, and she leaned right back in her bench, crossing her legs once more, "You don't know huh...? Oh well..."

Yet it seemed like even this leisurly mission wouldn't prove so leisurly. Alisa momentarily distracted herself, twisting back her torso and idly chatting with Arisa next to her, preferring to keep her best friend company while also keeping her eyes on the package. And that's what she was doing when the caravan suddenly ground to a halt, damn near making her fall right back before she grabbed the wooden railing to steady herself:

"What's the matter now...?", she asked, turning back to the driver who merely pointed at the road. Construction work huh...? No doubt they were still fixing some leftovers from the battle, "Just take this alley here, it should lead you right to your destination. Give or take a turn..."

Arisa continued to follow Alisa like some game of 'follow the leader'. Alisa didn't mind and neither she did right now. A lot was on her mind like friendship, romance and her own past. She was secretly planning out a vacation to find out where she was really from. It was a mystery. She knew of the language of Sin, but did that really mean she was from there? There was a possibility she was from some other Country. So much has happened and truthfully out of her past experience, she could've forgotten where she came from. She remembered the scenes, the boat, but not the name of it. It had to be real, right? This wasn't just some trick or memory magic type of ordeal that was happening... She at least hoped so.

Arisa saw the thing they were going to watch and decided to hop on. Her bum sat on the wooden plank of the back of the cart to look about. Her job was to make sure it got to its ideal place safely and while doing so she would think and talk to Alisa about things that were off subject compared to what she was thinking. There were many Countries, but which one was she from? She looked at the dirt being kicked back by the wheel, rubble from the crumbled earth that was probably falling apart slowly yet in a way, effectively. She was glad the hair was fine, not too cold nor too hot. 'What am I going to do...? What will I tell Noel?... About them.' she thought and turned her head to look at alisa real quick. 'What will I tell her?' she thought and looked back towards her position. Where were the bad guys? She wondered such things as it was silent between Alisa and Arisa. Out of no where they heard a brief sound of someone speaking to whomever to stop. Arisa didn't know who since she didn't see from the front - only the back. ''Is everything okay in the front?'' she wondered and cornered her eyes towards the back.

Alisa

WORDS: 2820 | TAG: @arisa | JUNKETSU

The whole thing kept turning more and more troublesome as time went on. She managed to guide the caravan through alleys somewhat, but soon after that they came across another obstruction... And then another... And then another. With each obstruction the men's impatience grew, leaving Alisa wondering just how much had Merlin paid them. Probably not enough if they were complaining like this; hopefully not enough as they really were doing a terrible job. Since when does a delivery man back out on his work over obstructed roads?

They obviously already knew about the battle; Merlin's order had been placed after it... Did they plan on receiving the money without knowing whether they could fulfill their contract? The more they complained and threatened to back out, the less respect Alisa had for them.

"Somewhat~", answered the sculptress, smiling softly, though with a faint hint of annoyance flashing on her face for the briefest of moments. Not directed at Ari of course, that much was obvious enough with the men whining and complaining incessantly

Thankfully, nobody came by to try and steal the package, meaning the sculptress could focus on Arisa first and foremost, as if keeping her attention on her best friend could at least help keep her in check. An affectionate touch, friendly words. Reminding her she was there. In time, the men gave up on the delivery entirely, and much to her annoyance, Alisa and Arisa had no choice but to finish the delivery:

"Guess we'll finish this one on foot. Good riddance...", she told her friend, glad to not have the deliverymen's constant badgering on her ear anymore

Fortunately, Merlin's place was only three blocks away; they'd finish this in no time, and then they could find something better to do...

Arisa felt like things were going to happen, but she didn't know what. Her golden eyes gazed forward in which was backwards when it came to direction of where people were sitting. She listened to the music of it being soundless. Truly it wasn't really soundless since the bristles of the tree leaves and the wind could be heard. She thought of the nature magic she used to have and how grand it was to be so close to nature. She wasn't close to nature anymore now... she was weak to it instead. It was quite sad to have a huge relationship with nature to end up having nature be your death/weakness.

Arisa thought of teh nature she saw in the past. Beautiful red thorn flowers and so forth. She slid off the cart once it stopped to walk towards the front of it. 'What is going on?' she wondered while getting closer to see Alisa stand there. She seemed to be talking to them or just having a staring contest. Once Arisa got there it was explained on what was happening and was told that they were to deliver whatever to the client themselves. Simply, Arisa sighed and nodded with agreement. They both got what they needed and started to walk. It didn't feel too far to the point of destination in which they needed to reach. Once they got there and delivered the merchandise they were thanked and rewarded. Finally, ARisa and Alisa left together to do some other things.
