Rishi had woken up late yet again today, and this had been starting to bother her.  The time she had woken up at for the past few weeks had been pretty consistent, and no matter how hard she tried or how many different things she attempted, she just couldn't wake up early anymore. She had thought about why this had been happening, and in the end she didn't come to any logical conclusions. She would just have to deal with it and live her life out as if that wasn't happening. This would give her more time to hang out at night anyways, as she hadn't really seen Crocus at night. She actually was surprised that she hadn't looked out her hotel window at night not once since she had gotten there. This town had been changing her, and she wasn't sure what what was making that happen. She had seemed to be not really sure of anything lately, and that had scared her a bit. She felt that she had been getting a bit insecure, and she couldn't let that happen. She was supposed to be the uplifting person that people would need all the time, not the one that wasn't feeling great about herself and cared how people looked at her and things of the sort. She was also becoming indecisive, and she couldn't let that go on either. Her not being able to decide on say a battle move quick enough would get her caught dead in a fight, and she couldn't let that happen. She had so much to do in life, and dying early because of her not being able to decide on something would be terrible.

Pushing that out of her mind, she was going out to help Batra at the Inn again. Last time she had helped him she was retrieving conned money, and she had much fun doing that. Anything that involves her hitting something was fun to her for some reason. It was just something that she had liked since she was little, and it hasn't changed even though so much time has past. Today she would be helping Batra with the Inn by working, and what she was doing she had never really gotten into before. She had cooked more than a few meals for herself and she had thought they were delicious, but she had never cooked for anyone else before. Today, she was supposed to be cooking as a temporary replacement. She had been told that one of his chefs had randomly quit on him, and he had needed help while he searched for a new one. It didn't seem too hard, and Rishi's cooking wasn't terrible anyways so she figured he could manage. She tied her hair up in a bun and walked out of her hotel room and down to the Inn, ready to get to work. She had stopped to get her daily lemonade from a shop near the Inn, and then went on to her destination.

The streets were pretty lively today, and Rishi had been reminded of Magnolia. All the familiar faces around, and all the nice sights and sounds that she had lived around for so long. She was planning on going back soon, and she was going to set out to find Kazuki again. She had missed him, and even though she didn't know him as well as she knew others, like Kenny, he had grown his own big place in her heart. There was just something about his smile and his laughter that had made her feel different, and she couldn't figure out why that was, not even if she thought about it for 1,000 years. He seemed to be her weakness, and she would never be able to resist it.

She had made it to the Inn, and Batra had quickly greeted her and given her an apron. He seemed to be a bit rushed, and Rishi could understand why. There seemed to be more people ordering now that the chef was gone, and Batra was stressed. She jumped right into the kitchen and got to work. She pulled the first ticket off the rack and read what was written out loud, "one baked potato and two breaded chicken wings." It didn't seem hard, so she buttered the potato and wrapped it in foil, then put it in the oven. She then breaded the chicken and threw them in the fryer, waiting for them to turn golden brown. She had a smile on her face as she worked through the night, and she had been doing better than she expected. She might have grown a new love for cooking, as it was so fun and people seemed to love it. The customers who had gotten the food she had made requested that the waiters and waitresses say thanks a bunch for the food, they really enjoyed it.

Throughout the night she had made 3 hamburgers, 1 order of fries, and 5 hot dogs. She had learned a lot today, and she was happy that she ended up taking this job. If she hadn't then she wouldn't be able to see how people felt about her cooking, and she wouldn't have gotten a good idea of what she might do when she gets a bit older. It had been around midnight when the pub closed, and she had hung up her apron and took her hair down, the silver strands falling effortlessly. She walked up to Batra and just hugged him. She was basically trying to tell him thank you for what he had just done for her, as what she did today might have paved the way for what she was going to do later on. He had awkwardly pat her on the back and had softly pulled her up by her shoulders, nodding and giving her the money that she was owed. Tears had been rolling down her face, and she took the money and bowed, then walked out, wiping the tears from her face. She was ready to get to sleep and start again tomorrow, and maybe tomorrow would be as great as today.
