When the Tenrou Island expedition team were transported out of the tomb, the first thing the Fire Dragon Slayer did was check his bearings; transportation spells are a tricky concept for one to wrap their heads around (even in a world where magic was commonplace), and a slight feeling of dread came over Houren's visage when he considered the fact that he might have dropped something during the transportation process. In this case, and namely, the map that he was holding and the jewel that they had retrieved. To the Fairy Tail mage's relief, the jewel was still in his hands and seemed to have been transported with him in one piece, whereas the map was located in his pouch, folded neatly like he remembered. At this point, Houren decided to exchange their places, leaving the jewel in his pouch safekeeping and taking the map out so that he could consult it once again.

As he expected, the Guildmaster had charmed the map so that it would become a map of the island once again after they left the tomb. He didn't see the map's transformation process, but that didn't really matter in the end. What did matter was that the spot where they were currently at was marked, as was the dock where Captain Seagull was sure to be waiting. The Fire Dragon Slayer raised his head to look at his teammates, doing a mental roll call to make sure that everyone was present, and once he was convinced that nobody was missing, he opened his mouth to speak. "We've got the jewel, and we've got the map. Let's start making our way back to Captain Seagull's ship," he did his best to conceal his own impatience. Nobody had expected a booby trapped tomb to be among the obstacles they would need to face in what was supposed to be a simple retrieval quest; because Kerberos were still wandering around somewhere, Houren knew that the day's festivities wouldn't end here.

Well, it'd be just a little bit anti-climatic if it did.

He began to walk. Perhaps a rest at this point would have been warranted, but from what he could gather, nobody had been hurt, severely or otherwise, in the scuffle against the plants and golems. Sure, that vine wrapping itself against Houren's leg might leave some friction marks but it was nothing aloe vera couldn't heal. The Fairy Tail mages had exhausted some of their magical energy, and it wouldn't be weird if they were somewhat tired, but according to the map, they were not far from the dock at all. There was plenty of time to rest during the ferry back, anyways. The Fire Dragon Slayer had planned to announce it to the rest of the group when they were roughly halfway back to the ship and had opened his mouth to do so; however, the sudden smoke bomb ambush meant that the thing that came out of Houren's mouth was not an announcement that they would soon be at the dock, but a warning to whoever it was that had thrown the smoke bomb at them. No matter how you looked at it, this was an attack.

Sael perked his head to the sound of Houren's voice. Oh, I almost forgot that he was here too. Anyways now that they had what they came here for there wasn't too much reason to linger around. Plus they still hadn't found that Kerberos guild from before. Although if they were lucky they would've fallen off a cliff and into the ocean or something and we wouldn't have to see them again.

Although as fate would have it we weren't very lucky.

After a few, what seemed like, minutes of walking through Tenrou's forests Sael was starting to get a bit tired. Cave, mysterious guilds, perverted plants. A, perhaps, not glamorous quest, but an exhilarating one definitely. The cloud mage yawned out a breathe as he stretched out only to catch a mouth full of smoke. Immediately his chest was wracked with a cough fit and his eyes began to water, and that taste... The cloud mage with a swipe of his hand shot out a vertical burst of cloudy force. Dissipating the smog within a few seconds. Sael looked up, eyes still watering, and could make out a few figures opposite from themselves. As he blinked a few more times their blurry lips cleared into smug smiles, and their identities became clear as soon as the smoke left he eyes. It was the very same people from the entrance to the tomb. The Kerberos guildsmen.

He instinctively brought a hand behind his back, poised to snap and attack at will. Unless this was supposed to be some kind of sick sense of a prank, things were about to go down.

Mana Cost: 25

As the group gathered themselves, Houren declared the mages should head back to the ship. He had a point, considering there would be plenty of rest on the return to the mainland, and no one really overexerted themselves at any point during the tomb's trials. After clearing most of the path back towards the ship, the group was ambushed by a cloud of smoke that appeared out of nowhere. The burning in her eyes was like a flame directly on her retina as the smoke hit them without warning, nevermind the coughing fit that had attacked her as her lungs filled with the gas. Luckily, during the time of her recuperation, Sael had used some sort of spell to disperse the gas and thus cleared the group's vision. Maybe they could view their assailants.

Looking around with the group to try and find the position of the attackers, they would take the form of three men standing in the road and blocking their path. For a second, she thought she could hear laughter coming from her direction, which only angered her more. One man, who appeared to be standing a couple of steps in front of and in between his companions had his arms crossed in front of him smugly, his shoulders and back adorned with a rather expensive looking fur coat, would address the group. "Well, well. It's about time you made it out of that tomb with the jewel. I'm afraid we're gonna need to take that from you." he sneered, his eyes looking as tough as the rest of him.

It only took seconds for Tori to recognize the men. "You..you're the guys we saw before. You're from Kerberos." she spat, her words dripping with the anger that currently engulfed her. Not only were they treading on sacred ground for the Fairy Tail guild, but now they were demanding Master Cecelia's jewel? Just how much nerve did they possess?

The man snickered in response, as did his partners, finding it interesting that the blonde woman among the group recognized them and their affiliated organization so easily, but it was ultimately of no consequence. "Why, that's right little girl. You're quite perceptive. My name is Negan." he smirked. "This is Vier." he said looking to his left. "And this is Zes." looking to his right. "We are with the Kerberos treasure hunter guild. We've actually been following you since you first arrived. Couldn't figure out how to get in the tomb and clear the trials inside, so we figured we would let you take care of that. A thousand thanks, by the way. Now then. The jewel. Hand it over.

Winderlin felt happy that this was all over and that he could relax again. This whole mission trip thing as really taken a toll on him. He knew that this wasn't going to be an easy thing but still he didn't think it was going to be hard either, but never the less it was done. Houren seemed to be checking his stuff to make sure everything was still there which Winderlin found really funny. Sael seemed tired also and so was Winderlin now that he thought about it. All the fighting he had done and with his water sword that was now gone from his hands from earlier. Winderlin just sighed again.

It felt like days as they walked through the forest back to the boat to leave the island and Winderlin felt weird for some reason but wasn't sure why, so he shrugged it off. He wasn't the only one who seemed a bit on edge Sael also looked a bit ready for an attack. But then everything went to hell, Smoke was being parting and three men showed themselves. The leader and Tori Seemed to go back and fourth for  a second before Winderlin sighed loudly. "I said something about this was really strange... I said it, I knewd it, I knowed it." Winderlin said looking at the three men in front of him. He sighed a bit and put his right hand in the air and formed his water sword once again. "I did not go through a whole damn cave for you to take this jewel nor did I find it for you in the first place, so you either have to take it from us or just leave, pick which one you wanna do, but I would pick the just leave." Winderlin said twirling the sword around his hands and body with little effort.

They needed to get home. They HAD to get home. In light of recent events, Kazumi could not handle being on this dumb rock anymore. With her best friend gone, it was all she could do to even keep herself composed, staying silent  and toward the back of the group. She could not wait to lock herself in her room for days feeling sad. Of course, even as they walked toward the dock that had to be nearby, The crystal mage could not shake the feeling that she was being watched. She wondered if anyone else felt the same, but she could not be bothered to ask, not right now.

Of course, she quickly found out what the cause of it was, as someone suddenly threw a smoke bomb at the party, making it extremely difficult to see. Luckily, Sai was able to clear up the fog, so that everyone could see who had attacked them. It was those Kooks in the Kerberos Guild. Kazumi had wished to give them the benefit of the doubt before, but they had clearly just antagonized the party and Kazumi was FAR beyond compassion at the moment. As the one in the middle— She didn’t catch his name— started to monologue, Kazumi bumped her fists together to create giant crystal gauntlets above her head. Without any hesitation, she gave two quick jabs with her real arms, sending the two gauntlets flying over the rest of the party in front of her in a powerful suckerpunch as the treasure hunter talked. “SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUPPPP!!!” Kazumi screamed. All rationality had been thrown out the window some hours ago, and she REALLY did not need this right now.

Rank: A
Mana Cost: 200
Requirements: Crystal Make
Type: Offensive
Element: Earth
Range: 20 Meters
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: User bumps their fists together and creates Two Giant crystal gauntlets (1 meter wide along the knuckles, two meters long down to the wrists/partial forearms) That float above the user on either side. These hands act as a reflection of the user's own arms, so when said user throws a punch in the air in the direction of the target, the corresponding fist will throw a punch at the desired opponent. These gauntlets do a collective A rank damage, and if they are not used together, a single one will still do A rank damage, but both constructs dissolve away.

Instinctively, the Fire Dragon Slayer raised his hand to cover his nose and mouth from the smoke, but as luck would have it, there was someone on his team capable of blowing the wind away. First, there was Tori who was able to freeze over that ice so that they wouldn't have to swim, and now it turns out they had someone who could manipulate wind as well. Talk about good luck. They all seemed to be somewhat combat hardy as well, as evidenced by the way they had managed to pass through the trials without too much of a problem. The assailants soon showed and introduced themselves, exchanging a few words with some of the Tenrou Island expedition team in the process, whereas Houren merely kept quiet. They revealed that they wanted the jewel, so Houren decided not to attract too much attention to himself as he moved his hand to where the jewel was just to check that it was still there. They looked tough enough, not that Houren believed they could defeat him even if it was three against one, but if one of them had some sort of sneaky trick that allowed them to get the jewel without fighting seriously, then that would have been a problem.

The three treasure hunters seemed OK to run their mouths, but it was clear that some of the Fairy Tail mages were in no way interested in speaking; namely, Winderlin and Kazumi. The former had already drawn a weapon constructed of their elemental affinity, whereas the latter took it one step further and actually made the first move. The Fire Dragon Slayer had a few quips of his own, but since the first swing had already been swung, he supposed it was time for action. "It's that late in the month already, huh?" the Fairy Tail mage murmured listlessly to himself as he sized up the opponents who were in the process of trying to avoid Kazumi's gauntlets.

"The tough looking one in the middle is mine!" he kept his distance, adding his own attack after Kazumi's.

Sael gasped in shocked surprise at Kazumi's outburst, although given the occasion there was no reason she should hold back. Immediately after Kazumi's attack Houren launched himself into the fray taking it upon himself to combat Zegen. Sael didn't have much of a problem leaving that one to the experts but that left either the other hulking one with the hammer or the shaggy haired sniper.

With a snap from both hands two platform clouds formed to either side of him. He shot a look to King, drawing his attention, "King! Let's take the hammer guy, jump on and follow after me!" He lead on. Leaping onto one of the platforms he began to sprint towards the hulking hammer wielder. If King chose to follow him he'd happy oblige by keeping their own platform stead as the sprinted if not they he'd keep the other cloud as a shield hovering behind him.

As he closed in he snapped once again, while keeping his platform out of range he directing his flying fist towards Zes and quickly extending and retracted its range, snapping back and forth in a magical punching machine aimed to his face. Sael managed to get maybe six or five hits off before he retracted his fist, leaving the man to recover and ready his own weapon. "Hey eyes up here! Slu-slug fest!" He shouted. Hoping to divert some attention off of King as they launched they own assault, if they chose to follow him.

Before Tori could formulate a reply, or even before the leader of the treasure hunter guild even finish his own thought, the group as a whole was suckerpunched by a giant fist made of crystal. "Would have never expected that from her of all people." she thought to herself, not pegging Kazumi the type to initiate such an attack. But thoughts such as those made no difference now, as combat had arrived in full swing, just as she had thought it would from the beginning. Win had also verbally attacked the group, giving them the chance to leave, but Tori supposed that was pretty much moot at this point. Even if they were to choose to leave, no self respecting treasure hunter was going to run away after being attacked like that.

Immediately after the smoke cleared from the slam of the giant crystal fist, two shouts could be heard. Sai yelled for Win to help him with the larger opponent wielding the large hammer, while Houren declared his opponent the leader of the Kerberos members. Not wanting to be outdone by her new rival, Tori shouted towards him before following the other Dragon Slayer. "Oh no you don't! I've been waiting to get my hands on this guy!" The ice mage would come up behind Houren from his left flank, adding her variant along with it. Whether the spells would mix on their travel to the target, or hers hit immediately afterwards didn't matter. So long as he was hit by both spells, she couldn't really complain. However the two spells met their target, a large plume of smoke and dust soon took their place. Worried for their leader's safety, the other two members of Kerberos would look towards their comrade momentarily, opening themselves up to an attack from the others in Fairy Tail. Rather than firing an attack towards them and splitting her attention, Tori saw fit to wait for a reaction from the leader of the group, remaining beside her counterpart so they could best handle him together. Tori had no doubt that Houren could deal with him, possibly even all three on his own, but where was the fun in that?

Winderlin stared blankly for a minute. He sort of did forget he had a team with him, and he also forgot they had magic as well, and they all had a one liner. God this team is something else alright, we are all so weird but Winderlin quickly snapped out of his train of thought. When he notice that Kazumi was yelling at them, she seemed pretty not okay at the moment and he wasn't sure why but he knew better not to ask, but Houren thought it would be wised to say something in his normal funny way.  Everyone did their own for of attacks that were long range while Winderlin had his sword he had in his eyes, but then a idea came to his head and he knew what he had to do.
Well I mean why not I guess." Winderlin used his Left his arm and swung it fast as Water blades flew the air next to everyone's attacks that was aiming directly to the leader head face guy that Winderlin really didn't care about. Afterwards he ran after everything doing flips and cartwheels around the dragon attacks ready to strike with his sword. He did a front flip toward one of the goons and strike down making contact with him. Once that happened he back flipped a bit away to make sure he wasn't out in the open. Now before we all go out on you three, do you really wanna go down this road with us." Winderlin asked pointing to him and his team. He knew that if this fight kept going that these three wouldn't be alive afterwards. S at least they could give them a chance to leave and not die.

With Kazumi’s successful preemptive strike, the rest of the guild launched into action as the treasure hunting trio recouperated from getting punched by crystal. Kazumi had only aimed for the one in the middle, but perhaps if they weren’t all standing in a group like bro’s, the crystal mage would not have gone bowling in such a way. In any case, Houren was the next to attack, with Tori right on his heels, competing for dibs on the leader, who of course still had Kazumi’s aggro. Meanwhile, Sael and Winnie went for the Axe wielder. Now, as mentioned before, Kazumi still had her sights on the leader, along with the Dragon Duo. However, that all changed when A sudden pain shot through Kazumi’s left arm. They had forgotten about the sniper. In retaliation, Kazu lifted her right arm up, commanding a small squadron of crystal butterflies that formed around her to attack her assailant. They did so with no hesitation as the lanky gunman fell over backwards, swatting away at the razor sharp wings attacking his body. Kazumi then walked over to him as he scrambled to get up. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something red and white accompanied buy a quick shining light about 15 meters away. At that moment, glowing firefly-like particles of magic floated around the crystal mage before infusing with her mana as she kept moving forward. Kazumi was not quite sure what had just happened, but she did not have the rationality to think about it at the time. That said, she did feel stronger. By the time the sniper had his gun back upright, the girl was already on him. “LET. ME. GO. HOME!!” She yelled as she just punched him in the face, knocking him out cold. Whoops. She didn’t think she could do that, but hey, all’s well that ends well?

Fire and ice does not go together.

If the Fire Dragon's Roar wasn't a spell that required the use of Houren's mouth, he might have shouted something along those lines to his eager Frost counterpart. Since this was Tenrou Island, and luck tended to have this strange quirk of favouring those who possessed Fairy Tail's emblem on this island, the roars of the Fire and Frost dragon respectively did not clash and effectively dilute each other; instead, they both struck home plate, one after another, which was really the best case scenario. "As if we'll leave now! Treasure hunters have their own pride!" the short sniper cackled something like that as he used his own magical spell, which could very well have reached its mark, although it wasn't Houren that it managed to hit. No sooner had he done that was he engulfed by a swarm of butterflies that were clearly the work of Kazumi's crystal magic.

Since he knew he could let Kazumi handle him, the Fire Dragon Slayer decided to make his own move, sprinting towards the trio that had so brazenly gotten in their way only minutes prior. He could see that Sael and Winderlin were attempting close quarters combat, so another ranged attack from either Houren or Tori could easily result in friendly fire; he'd settle this with their leader up close and personal. As soon as his foot left the ground, Houren had already gathered the flames in his hands, and dashed when the timing seemed opportune. The large man who wielded the giant hammer was preoccupied with Winderlin and Sael and was prepping himself for a cleanup's swing, whereas the small sniper was being tore into by Kazumi's flurry of fists. Their leader had nobody to help him, and it was clear that he was at least winded by that Fairy Tail wombo combo that he had to tank.

It might've been pure formality at this point; perhaps Negen would have fallen over if anyone so much as touched him after having to take so much pure magical damage, but it wouldn't be a proper victory for Fairy Tail if they didn't lay their hands on him at least once. After all, one could derive more pleasure from destroying a wall with their bare hands as opposed to using a spell to accomplish the very same feat. The Fire Dragon's right fist went into the treasure hunter's gut, and his left was a jab to the jaw. After both hits connected, Houren lunged forward, headbutting the Kerberos mage and forcing him backwards with a crack.

Sael made the mistake of turning to catch a view of the action happening around him. In the corner of his sight he could catch Kazumi and the others devastating the other two guys, the crystal mage berserking through the whole encounter. Ouch, that poor sniper… The other Kerberos guy looked just about done as well. What else did you expect when you go against Fairy- “Don’t turn away from a fight mister!” A thundering voice came up from behind. Sael turned around, almost curiously, only to be confronted with a giant hammer to his chest. He wasn’t proud of his voice-cracked scream, or the way that he was shot out of the sky gracelessly, that was life.

He hit the ground with a with a jarring crash, and the macabre crack of bone. Shit. His platforms and fist construct were unharmed thankfully, but they moved back by his side. “Owwww….” He whined. Another crashed in front of him. “Distracted easily?” was all his opponent had to say. “Yea yea tell me about it.” the cloud mage yelped, another burst of pain wracking his body. Wearily he brought himself up to his feet to meet his opponent. His body was recovering quickly, surprisingly. Usually one hit was all it took to bring him down, but he couldn’t be outdone so easily, on infront of his guidemates.

With determination he set into his counter-attack. With a quick horizontal stroke of his arm a cloudy crescent shot out to attack as he dashed forward, his other constructs tailing behind him. As expected they simply knocked it aside with a right swing of his hammer. He maneuvered both platforms against the hammer, creating a hammer sandwich, keeping him from swinging it around as freely as he kept it pinned between both clouds. He leaped up and sent a jump kick straight into the goliath’s nose before rebounding off of him in a jump back, sending his cloud fist in his place to continuously assault him. He landed with a wince but force himself to action. “King! I got him pinned down now, attack while you can!”

The combo attack worked like a charm as the Dragon Slayers' roars found their mark with the utmost precision. In hindsight, it probably wouldn't have worked so well anywhere but the sacred island, but Tori wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. In her peripheral, she could see that Sai and Win were easily overpowering the axe wielder, while Kazu was making quick work against the sniper with an unrelenting attack, yelling to let her go home while she did so. She was clearly angry, and Tori couldn't tell why at the moment, but whatever spurred the crystal mage into getting the job done.\

Houren, on the other hand, leapt towards the leader to deliver another series of attacks, this time of the melee variety. One blow after another would like leave the man stunned, if not defeated altogether. Tori would jump over Houren after he finished his punches, her own fist covered in ice. Pulling back her punch to get it wound up, she timed it so that she would land after her rival's attacks had just finished before landing her punch right on the top of his head. This, combined with all the damage he had already taken would surely finish him off. "AND STAY DOWN!" she yelled, expressing her anger with the very blow she was delivering. Looking over her shoulder, she would check to see if the rest of the group had taken care of the other two treasure hunters.

Winderlin was happy with his attack patterns and how well he was doing keeping up with  everyone on all of this. He had movement down to the tea, or well his training. He heard a loud boom and notice that Sael was hit. He started to go help but he notice that Sael had the whole thing under control, so Winderlin went back to his guy he was fighting. He spun his sword some more and went in for a swing. He did several flips and cartwheels to distract the guy from where his sword would swing next. He made contact and sent the dude flying. He ended up hitting a tree and laid there. Winderlin knew that he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

Winderlin then heard his name being called and looked back at Sael who had a guy pinned down with his cloud hand thing that Winderlin really did find something funny and strange about his magic but stay focus on the target. He threw his water sword at full speed but then swung his arms out casing his water blades to follow suit. it added with the Water Sword increasing the speed and force as it hit the dude. It threw and stuck him into a tree. Winderlin felt happy and gave out a really loud woo hoo. He wasn't really sure what happen or why they were he but hey they were kicking ass and it made him happy. "WHO ELSE WANTS TO TAKE US ON!" Winderlin shouted on the top of his lungs.

Now that it seemed sniper man was down for the count, Kazumi looked over at the melee fighters in the group, focusing her target back to the ring leader. Of course, it turned out there was nothing left that needed to be done. Her guild mates had all made quick work of these treasure hunting losers, and when Kazumi looked over, they all seemed to look similar to the man the crystal mage herself had taken down. They seemed to have paired up to defeat these new foes, which Kazu could not help but find bitter sweet. She had been frustrated with these people ever since entering the tomb or lack of teamwork, yet here she was, acting completely on her own. Granted, she was no longer in the correct headspace to care all to much about others, but her own hypocrisy did not go unnoticed.

In any case, it seemed for now that the conflict was over. All that was left to do was to head back to the dock and leave the island. Of course, what could be that easy, right? Shortly after the clash was over, the leader— Kazumi had not bothered to catch his name— started to get up, clearly not heeding Tori’s “STAY DOWN!” warning from earlier. “You think you win? Huh? I’m just getting started!” Such a clichéd phrase the man uttered, but there was no denying that he seemed different. Kazumi just could not tell what it was. The man continued, “Even if you defeat me here, Zeven’s still around. You aren’t getting off the hook that easy.” Again with his monologues. Kazumi, still somewhat nearby after clocking his buddy, rolled her eyes. “Oh my GOD give it up already!” She expressed, going in for another bare fisted attack on that guy’s face, even though whatever power that gave her last attack some extra oomph seemed to have faded. Not that it mattered, the man quickly dodged and he seemed to be faster than before. Kazumi did not really have time to process it before he came back with a counter attack, a punch seemingly for the irony that sent the crystal mage reeling back, falling over a few meters away. “Gaaaah!” She cried in pain, “He’s definitely at full strength again, if not stronger.” She sent this word of advice to her comrades, warning them to take caution as she got up and wiped the blood from her busted lip.

There was something just a little bit patronizing about the Frost Dragon Slayer leaping over his head to deal what Houren could only assume would be the final blow. Still, there was plenty of glory to go around, and the Fire Dragon Slayer could easily have claimed that the treasure hunters' leader was already unconscious by the time Tori's fist made contact with his face; as Houren watched her figure go over him, he made a mental note to himself to tease his frost counterpart later on about her affinity for overkill. There was some struggle on Sael and Winderlin's part to deal with that gigantic looking guy, but it seemed like the two of them were good for their word in the end, and it went without saying that the frenzied Kazumi had made quick work of the treasure hunter guild's sharpshooter.

It would have been nice if everything could have been said and done at this point, but things were never really that easy, were they? The leader of the treasure hunters regained his footing and began to speak, and while the Fire Dragon Slayer was in the immediate vicinity, the first thing he did was turn to face Tori and growl. "What the hell do you think you're doing? You didn't hit him him hard enough! Your weak punch knocked the consciousness back into him," he scolded, although at this point, it was more for comedic effect than anything else. After this, he turned back to Negen whom Kazumi had already engaged, but it seemed like his power had increased, and he was able to knock her back.

"Tch," Houren suddenly lost the motivation to fight this guy and turned to the others. "Who wants to do the honours then?" he asked.

#17Sael Stiel

Sael grunted when a definite lack of anything King-like appeared to assist him. He merely grunted and directed his cloudly minion to keep its ruthless machine-like punching at maximum speed. Even with the hand helper's weaker attack power it more than made up with its overwhelming, almost oppressive speed. Within a few moments his opponent had all but passed out as they fell to the ground, with more than a black eye to show for this battle.

"'Distracted easily' my perky butt." Sael huffed. Judging from the relative calm around him the other were just finishing up their own fights. Tori and the others were screaming about something and Sael flashed a smile to his fallen opponent before looking back to his guild mates. But by this time their joy had warped into something of determination and wary-ness. Sael scanned their faces and caught and traced their line of sight to an angry looking swordsman. Kazumi tackled the guy but her efforts were easily knocked aside. Looking to his guildmates the determination had slide from their faces, none of them particularly eager to get into another fight. Suddenly his respect for them had diminished a little. At least Kazumi made the attempt!

Without another word he dashed towards Negen with his cloud forms to back him up. Directing his shield clouds infront of him he snapped his fingers and another one generated to his side. The spinning clouds in front of him gave him some cover as he moved forward. After he managed to close the distance between them to ten meters Sael leaped up, using his shield clouds as platforms to quickly ascend higher. Jumping and landing and jumping and landing. He was about five meters up in the air when he snapped again. A cloudy arm formed at the back of his shoulders as he leapt off of one of the platforms and towards his target. Using his morph cloud he created handles in mid air to swing side to side like a monkey, utilizing the potential of his other cloudy arm to it's fullest. Meanwhile he directed his platforms to circle around Negen, preventing him from leaving while Sael harassed him from afar with his floating cloud hand. The swordsman was a lot faster now and easily parried and dodged the fist's attempts to give him a black eye. Sael grunted in challenge. The cloud mage flexed his cloudy arm to swing and flip him like an acrobat straight towards his opponent. It was a straight dive, true as an arrow. Sael slammed his cloudy fist towards Negen as he was shot head first into the melee.

No surprise the attack missed, with the swordsman having dodged to the side. Sael flipped one of the shields into a horizontal position as he rolled off of it. With Negen focused on Sael he didn't anticipate the underhanded uppercut punch to his jaw from his other cloud.

On the other side of his cloud Sael was trying to catch his breathe, he was starting to run low on mana and stamina. He knew that he was in no condition to take on such a strong opponent by himself. He turned to his teammates. "What are you waiting for! I've got him down!"

Mostly for aesthetics, such as to make the arm more defined or more slim to better suit the situation, though it's main purpose is offense. Tori had backed up and looked around to see how her guild mates were fairing, and it seemed like they had everything in the bag. Her friends had taken out the guy with the hammer as well as the sniper without too much effort, or at least seemingly so. All that was left was the...leader?

Negen had risen from the ground, as strong as ever it seemed. She had no idea how he managed to stand after so many relentless attacks from two Dragon Slayers, let alone be ready to continue fighting. He explained that the bout before was a simple warm up, and even if he fell here, there was someone else on the island...waiting in the wings. That could certainly be problematic, given how the leader of this group spoke about him. Could he be the true leader? Or was he just an ace in the hole? It didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, and right now the only important thing was putting this guy down, for good this time. Sai was a quick thinker and used his cloud magic to deliver a small hit to stun the man, who had now fallen to the ground.

This was a perfect opportunity as Tori jumped onto the side of a nearby tree and immediately leaped into the air again. Crossing her arms, an blue orb appeared in front of her. "Sai, make sure you're out of the way!" she shouted before uncrossing her arms and shattering the orb into several small shards. "Frost Dragon Diamond Stooooorm!" she yelled, signaling the shards to rain down on the man like a hailstorm. What didn't pierce his skin would have pinned him to the ground via his clothes, smirking as she landed. "What do ya say, Fairy Tailers? Like we did the golems?" Tori suggested to her teammates, knowing that they were all still fairly tired, but the group's attacks as a whole would be enough to put him down once and for all. Then they could deal with the mystery fourth member after they'd had a chance to rest.

Winderlin was happy and quite content with the work him and Sael did to the one guy. He knew he could of did a bit better to help but still it was nice to know that the contribute to the team. He sighed for a bit and looked around. Everyone seemed to have held up their ends of this fight really well. Winderlin was happy that they finished this all and everything was now done and they could go home, or at least that's what they thought they could of done. Negen began to deliver the bad guy typical speech of I'm not done yet, blah blah blah, real power blah blah blah, to be completely honest Winderlin really didn't care. Kazumi was already not really in the mood for the guys bull shit and was already giving him the talk from the hero's' side after that we all went to work.

This was so not my idea on how my vacations was suppose to be spent!" Winderlin shouted as he go into position and waited for his opening to attack. He knew he was low on mana and this would his final blow so he had to make it a big one. Kazumi went first but wasn't able to take him on which was a bit scary since Kazumi was strongerr then Winderlin, what did that leave for Winderlin's future? Sael went next in line of attacks and took to the sky and did his really cool awesome cloud stuff. Winderlin was a bit jealous of his magic because like come on it's clouds. Tori was next and she made it rain hail snow ice things and queued for Winderlin to be the next attacker. Winderlin knew what he had to do. He but out his hand and watched as Water started to spins in his hands and shape into a sword, once it was complete he throw at Negen, once the sword left his hand he spun for a second and threw his arms out as well forming his water slicer to follow behind his sword. This was greatest combo he had and all his mana. Winderlin stood a bit wobbly for a second and waited for the next teammate to do something.

If there was anything crystal clear about the current situation that the Fairy Tail mages had found themselves in, it was that they were all tired and angry. At least, that’s what it seemed lik through Kazumi’s tired and angry eyes. No one wanted to deal with this anymore, proven by Houren’s reaction to the circumstance in that he passed off the next attack to anyone else. Way to be a team player. Thankfully, the rest of the group, though they were not thrilled about it, sprung into action, doing whatever they could with the rest of their stamina to apprehend the Treasure hunter.

...Even though Tori wanted to make a moment out of it.

“Now’s not the time for catchphrases, Tori.” the crystal mage blurted out as she got back up. Sael’s cloud attack had given Tori enough of an opening to unleash some Hail upon this man, which gave Both Kazumi and Winnie more than enough time to make some swords. Kazumi ran in, reaching a reeling Negan in seconds, her right arm at her side as if she were holding an invisible sword. She slid in low as she reaches the man, moving under Winderlin’s trowing sword, while also moving her arm forward in a slicing motion at Negan. This caused a crystal sword to manifest in time for an impact simultaneous to Winnie’s, dissolving away into glimmering dust in the follow through. One could only hope this was enough to take the man down for real this time.

"This is taking way too long...." there was obvious frustration in the Fire Dragon Slayer's voice as he watched his fellow members of the Tenrou Island Expedition team release their respective spells at Negen who had just, metaphorically speaking, come back from the dead and judging from how he had managed to dodge some of their attacks, much stronger than before. They seemed to be struggling at this point and while the Fire Dragon Slayer had full confidence that, given enough time, the members of the Tenrou Island Expedition team excluding himself would be able to find a way to defeat Negen, that was time he simply did not have time to spare.

Houren put both hands beside each other in front of him, and began to gather magical energy, a different element than what he was used to, but then again, this was the first time he had ever felt the need to use this spell; not because he was in a tight spot, but because he was frustrated at how slowly things were moving. He was definitely betraying the expectations of somebody out there, but it didn't really matter at this point. "As per Fairy Tail tradition, I'll count to three before...." the Fairy Tail mage was in the middle of his sentence directed at Negen when, from out of nowhere, monkeys sprung from all sides on the treasure hunter leader.

The Fire Dragon Slayer was confused, but it almost immediately became obvious from Negen's screams of pain that the monkeys were mercilessly beating on him. As the beatdown continued, one of the monkeys who wasn't able to get in on the action turned to face the members of Fairy Tail, and greeted them with a cool thumbs up. At that moment, Houren realized exactly why these monkeys were going out of their way to help them.

Almost immediately after Sael called out to his team they leapt into action. Tori taking the opportunity to literally leap into the air. She shouted a warning and Sael was more than happy to do so after seeing the strength she had before. Pulling his clouds back toward him his slid on top of one of them as he dashed out of the scene. Sael turned back in time to catch his teammates giving Negen the pounding of his life. Tori had opened up with some sort of ice spell which scattered the ice up around the Kerberos leader. While King and Kazumi lead up with some tricks of their own. Displaying their mastery of swordsmanship.

Sael's ears perked up when he heard Houren warning their opponent off. Fairy Tail tradition? For what? He wondered. The cloud mage's thoughts were cut off with the interception of a crowd of monkeys closing in from all sides aiming for the leader. Sael could only stare at the miraculous miracle happening to them. One of the monkeys stopped and gave Sael, and presumably his guildmates surrounding him, a dead cold stare before giving them a thumbs up and returning to their work.

“Um… I think that we should leave the rest to them? What do ya’ll think?” He asked around.

Following close behind her own attack, Kazu and Win delivered some of their own using swords created from their own element. During this seemingly final bout with the leader of the treasure hunters, Houren seemed to watch. Maybe he had run low on magical energy and needed a quick breather? Tori's thought was almost immediately put to rest after the silver haired man arranged his hands in a way that she had had never seen before. Between them, magic started to gather, but it wasn't fire. "How in the world is he doing that???" she thought to herself quizzically, beyond any level of confused she had ever experienced before. He started to tell the man that he had until the count of three, but was interrupted by the screams of a group of monkeys that descended from the treetops, and of the treasure hunter who seemed to be their primary focus.

As the primates assaulted the man, he seemed quickly overwhelmed. Served him right as far as Tori was concerned. Before continuing it's barrage, one of the monkeys turned around and looked Houren dead in the eye before offering a thumbs up and smile. "Well, I'll be..I suppose giving up those bananas was a good investment." she said chuckling. As they continued with their newly found victim, Sai questioned everyone as to whether they should leave the monkeys to their business. "Well, that would only make sense. The monkeys are the ones that live here, and they look like they have things under control." she said before turning her attention back to Negen, who was now in a fetal position trying to cover himself. "I guess this is a lesson in invading people's homes. Don't let us catch you here again." she said coldly at the man, uncaring as to what happened to him. As far as she was concerned, he deserved everything that happened to him. "So, should we try again to head for the boat? Or should we hang out for the next interruption?" she asked her guildmates sarcastically and with a giggle. After all of this, she knew full well what everyone's answers were as she started heading towards the beach, not so far as to leave anyone behind of course.

Everyone chimed in on the attack and everything was going really well. Winderlin feel to one knee after a few seconds using up all of his mana up from the early cave and now these guys. Houren seemed to be a bit angry at everything and wanted to be done with the whole thing. He started to attack Negen but stopped. Winderlin was confused at first but looked to see Negen being attacked by the monkeys... Winderlin wasn't really sure why this was happening and just started in confusion. One of them gave the group a thumbs up and Winderlin just awkwardly smiled at the monkey.

Tori suggested they all leaved before something else happen and Winderlin gave a mental nod but still thought he should say something. "DO you think we should help the monkeys or just leave, I mean he could just blast them all and they would be." Was all he said to his friends before he blacked out. He pushed himself way to hard and was know down for the count himself. This was such a lame to go idiot, even if you did help your friends in the fight, it's still lame.

With everyone chiming in for one last hoorah, Houren seemed to have isolated himself from the group. Of course, it wasnt long before Kazumi figured out why. He put himself into some sort of stance that kazumi had yet to see him use, while an interesting magical energy surrounded him. Interesting because it felt VERY similar to the power that Kazumi had recently stumbled upon. Did he have a power similar to Glitter? That was something to note even in Kazumi’s state of irrationality. However, before he could even do anything, Negen was suddenly attacked by a barrel of monkeys; the very same ones that the party had fed before. Look at that, fate DIDN’T completely hate the crystal mage. As the primates attacked, one looked back at the party and gave them a lame thumbs up that probably seemed cool to it. Never the less, Kazumi knew exactly what to do.

Unfortunately, not all of her party members came to the same conclusion , with BOTH Tori and Winnie asking if they should stay and help, though Tori seemed to have meant it as a joke, and Winnie immediately passed out, apparently after expending all of his magical energy. “Why would you even feel the need to ask that?” Kazumi rolled her eyes and held a hand out, creating a wagon underneath Winderlin. “We’re leaving.” And with that Kazumi ran as fast as she could toward the dock, dragging winnie behind her. But you know what the really weird thing was? She still felt like she was being watched. Apparently it was not due to Kerberos after all...
