Hiroshi Ikatana

It had been night time in the small town of Dahlia, Hiroshi barely able to see where he was going. He had been given a task from a zealous priest that he hadn't learned the name of, as it was of no importance to him. Today he was on a mission to find some individuals who were opposing this guy and eliminate them. This had seemed like more of a job that he had wanted to do, as it didn't seem too hard and quite fun. He held a paper with the address of the place in his hand, looking around the dark and foggy streets trying to read the numbers. This town wasn't very large, but it was hard to see at night, seeing as not too many people inhabited this place and there were hardly any lights on for him to be able to make out anything close to him. He looked around for a split second only to realize that there were no people outside, which he found quite peculiar. Then again, this has a monster infested town, so h could see why most people wanted to stay inside, away from the creatures of the night. Also, this mission was supposed to be completed in secret so even if there were people around, he wouldn't have been able to ask anyone about it anyways.

He had wandered around for a little while longer before encountering an empty looking house. He couldn't help but notice the bolted doors and all around old and dusty house all on it's own in the middle of nowhere. He went around to the back of the house and entered quite silently through a window, though he did make a slight noise due to him breaking the glass that had occupied the wood frame. He stepped in silently and thoroughly explored the main floor of this house, seeming as if a family lived here long ago but had either passed away or maybe even got murdered. He couldn't find much in there until he had encountered a closet. It seemed cleaner than the rest of the house, and Hiroshi had found this quite strange. How could this be cleaner than the rest of the house if the door was bolted shut and the windows were sealed tight? He looked around the closet for a moment, opening it and looking at the contents inside, which was really nothing much, just some old clothes piled at the bottom of it. But then he looked around the closet, and that's when he saw it. The closet had been slightly moved, uneven really. He looked around the house one last time to make sure no one had been lurking around while he was in there and slowly but surely moved the closet over, only to find a thick door that seemed like it had been used not too long ago. He put his foot against the wall and grasped the handle, and used all of his might to pull it open.

He had used every inch of strength he contained to pull this thick door open, and when he had looked inside, he saw a stairway which seemed to lead into the house's basement. He hesitated for a moment before slowly and silently walking his way down into the dark basement of the abandoned house. He couldn't even be sure that anyone was actually here, and that this whole quest was a joke and it was just for everyone to laugh at him for going into such and old and dusty place that reeked of death and decay. He slid his hand down the wall as he walked down, making sure to keep track of his surroundings.

He had eventually made it to the bottom of the steps, and then there had been light around the corner. This might be it, maybe he had finally found the people he had came looking for. Or maybe this was some trick and there were cameras set up all around the house just for some kind of fake tv show. Whatever the case was, he was ready to face his fate. He turned the corner only to find nine people sitting in the room together, it seemed there might have been two or three families there surrounded by a few candles. He had picked up the ax that was on the wall which was labeled "in case of emergency" and held it ready to eliminate them. He was going to do this quickly and quietly, seeing as these people had been normal people who couldn't use magic. He had used only a bit of magic to silence their screams and killed them off, one by one, making sure to get the kids first so that they didn't have to see everyone else die before them. He didn't want things to get messed up so he had gotten the elderly man next, then the man and his wife and then the rest of the other family that had been there. This had been easier than he thought, and he didn't get not one drop of blood on him. He walked back up the stairs, put the ax back, and exited through the way he had entered. It seemed that this hadn't been a joke after all, and that not all the people of Dahlia were liars. Maybe there were a few liars wandering around and the only thing he had hoped was to not bump into them for the time being. He walked swifty and silently back to the hotel he had been staying at, ready to get some sleep. It was now the middle of the night, and frankly, he couldn't understand how those small kids could stay up that late and talking about politics. Maybe their families dragged them along jsut so that they could watch them, and they just sat there and listened while the others crammed their opinions into their heads and forced them to believe all of that. Whatever the case, it was over now and he was just going to get some sleep.
