In Hargeon Town, located in the southern part of Fiore, near Magnolia Town. Erebus was beginning on yet another quest. The first in a long time, but t was officially time he put the disgusting spiderwebs surrounding himself away. To reach for greater heights and explode onto the top of the food chain once again. In such a place as Hargeon Town, many jobs could be taken to carry him to B-rank. Something he seemed to stay away from so long a time. It was folly to him, to finally be growing in power again. He had ambition. Drive in his bones! No one was safe from the animal. Not so long as it could bare it's fangs. Time was of the essence-- first things first. The wolf needed to meet his partner. A hired hand whom Erebus did not know. They were going to meet Maxwell shortly. The lycan would arrive first-- hitting the scene, wearing a strange crown. A hoodie, and a sheathed sword at his waist. His hair was slicked while wearing the diadem, and his muscles were toned to the point shape could be seen underneath clothing. The lycan's eyes glowed with a amber tint. He looked human sure... but also inhuman. The later being accurate of his race, Erebus was a beast. Today, another soul would meet him. A new social link created. And money to pocket within his wallet when all was said and done.

Froctis was happily ambling around town with a smile on his face. He was in a good mood since he had written his wrongs he had made over the last few days, and now he had sorted out a quest all by himself. To most this would seem like a mediocre feat, but to Froctis this was a step in the right direction as the last few quests he had done were tagalongs. He would literally just find someone on a job then do it with them. With a spring in his step over this achievement Froctis would head to the agreed meeting place to do the job. He had heard someone else was going to accompany him which he didn't mind since he was so frequently with others on requests. As he thought about it he had never taken a solo quest within the harbour town while he was there. As he turned the corner her noticed the boy at the meeting place immediately. He seemed to stick out to Froctis with his crown. Froctis knew it was not his client Maxwell as he had already met him, so he deduced that it was his partner. With his usual polite smile he waved to his new partner. "Hey there, name's Froctis. Nice to meet you." He would say offering his hand for a shake. wc 227/1000

Erebus made his way over to the man known as Maxwell, just as Froctis initiated a greeting from behind the two. The boy turned on one foot allowing himself to lift a hand in waverance of the other body. He then allowed Maxwell to fill up the deets as far as what this quest would be, what he was required to do, and why he would be doing it. Sort of? Money is money, Erebus didn't care. "Yo." The boy caught the handshake, and shook hands. However, the same smile his partner retained would not surface on his lips. Instead, there was a lingering darkness over Erebus. He just didn't do the 'happy adventurer' thing. He was an entity of his own fruition. A rising epidemic-- those were things that he must instill within himself. To forget why one did what they did was abandoning their soul. "Strategist. Charmed I'm sure?" The tall, lean and handsome young fellow said his exchange with Maxwell. Then headed off towards an apartment. A graffiti can in one, hand, he carried a face of zombified blankness. Thankfully, his face was shaven once again, attributing to his appearance. Otherwise, he'd literally look dead. Pale and lifeless. No matter-- he was indeed alive-- awake and alive. Time to begin the games.

Although rather insulted at the lack of feeling from the so called Strategist, Froctis kept his smile on his face all the same. At least he greeted Froctis and shook his hand, but to Froctis he couldn't but feel like he was spat on. He made sure the rising flame in himself was kept to an ember. You can always beat him up later. Froctis thought to himself, although as his eyes trailed to Strategist's sword he decided he might wait until later. Froctis pushed the thoughts away to the back of his mind to listen to Maxwell and his instructions. It was a fairly easy task and one Froctis could relate to. Someone else had wronged him and he wanted payback. Froctis' smile although roughly the same gave a more malicious feeling as Maxwell continued. "No problem." Froctis then said as Maxwell handed him and Strategist a spray can. Once both equipped with spray cans the two would head to the apartment. "This is the place." Froctis said looking at the surprisingly large building. "So how do we get in? You are the Strategist." Froctis said with a small laugh, hoping to break the ice.

Froctis took a small gasp of horror as he seen Strategist bulk up and jump up to scale the building. As he watched the incredibly stealthy beast Froctis wondered where he could have acquired such power! It almost scared him how easily head had done that, but it also intrigued him. The boy looked far more feral, more dangerous and more alive than Froctis had seen this far. After hearing the small click of the door froctis bursted inside and began to hep Strategist with turning the house upside down. In a literal sense, Froctis would begin with kicking over tables and chairs and throwing anything that was brittle at walls and windows in the hopes of causing as much damage as possible. Froctis after having a nice little smashing session realised he was gripping a can of spray paint. Although he could see Strategist was making headway with spraying what they were told to, roctis decided to go one step further. Breaking down the door of the bedroom Froctis would begin to spray paint some mature pictures on the bed covers, carpets and curtains. After which he would smash down the door to the bathroom and do the same there. As Froctis walked out he seen Strategist almost take the door he had unlocked off it's hinges with a brutal hit. Kind of counterproductive in Froctis' eyes but the thrill of demolishing a man's life was still pumping in his mind. All the while Froctis thought that this man deserved it. It was the only thing that made this whole thing seem right to him. After the two had broken every item, covered every surface in debris and removed the kitchen sink Froctis would look over at the boy who clearly resembled a wolf at this point. "Shall we call it a day?" He suggested with a small pant. 312+427=719

Erebus wasn't as far out of stamina as his counter-part Froc, but he was ready to call this quits, the two would now be able to return safely and secure to Maxwell. Payday! During the walk back Erebus was able to contemplate his next mission, wasn't there some papers in the center of town? Perhaps he could fill his week of sleepless nights and grind jewels in. It'd definitely be a change of pace. "Yeah, let's call it a day. You did good." The two were set to return. Maxwell being a simple thug who harasses people and steals their money, would find no qualms in paying for this mission. So Erebus had little to worry about, knowing full well he could just pick this quest giver apart if he tried any funny business. The way the left house was left in such rambles? They even took the sink out of the wall, no way anybody wanted to be on the receiving end of that. Hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars in repairs and plumbing were going to be a legitimate issue. Maxwell would be prided by the display. Work like this provoked men to feel empowered, it also filed the active men involved with jewels. Today had been a good day, Erebus, decided... He would smile. He earned a smile after this dirty work. Erebus would agree to whatever offers of future requests his partner proclaimed, he'd then head home.
Exit.

Froctis found it odd when Erebus said he did good. It was not weird because he was receiving praise, it was a little weird that he was receiving praise from a younger guy but the weirdest thing was that he could feel some sort of sentiment behind the words. "Um, thanks you too." He said his smile replaced with a confused face. After walking Froctis resumed his happy demeanour as to not attract attention. The two were already covered in debris and smelled of paint. Maybe we should of wore some sort of mask. that stuff is poisonous! Froctis thought to himself. Erebus still had not turned back into his normal self yer, and Froctis was curious as to how he came to have a power like that. Froctis wondered if it was a magic or if he was a species of some sort, like an elf or giant or neko. Regardless however Froctis admired the power. He definitely looked the part of a fearsome beast with it. Eventually the two would reach the client Maxwell and get paid. Even their client seemed to be intimidated by Erebus and even game them a little extra, or at least Froctis did. Froctis wondered why though, but decided not to question it. In fact his mind was still wandering to the house they wrecked. Some time later that day the owner of the house would walk in and see his house torn asunder and spray paint everywhere as well as some crudely drawn art around the house. Froctis couldn't help but laugh at their handy work. He even noticed a smile form on Strategist's face. "Yo, want to head on another request together?" Froctis asked the boy. What could be the worst that would happen, he thought. They did have a lot of fun on this mission. Hopefully they could continue their fun.
