Arsène
Videns was walking through Magnolia. He had made an abundance of money over the last few weeks and as a result was talking a well deserved break. Although the scenery was beginning to decline since he had last taken the time to take it in, it was beautiful enough to be gazed upon fondly. As to where to go Videns had no clue. He contemplated finding a coffee place to get a hot beverage however the last time he had he was almost killed by a little girl. He had met someone else while doing it but only briefly and even now he thought back to that day and began to kick himself. Sighing heavily Videns decided to throw caution to the wind, which was somewhat ironic as the day was calm without a single hint of a breeze. As to where he would go he was unsure however he was certain he would find a place. Videns prefered when it was windy since it was his magic he prefered being in his element. Videns began to think of his magic and wondered how different his life would have been if he had gotten light magic. Sighing heavily once more Videns continued.

Selena Maelstrom
Selena, similar to Videns was ambling around the city of Magnolia. She had recently visited the bank where she had found out she had a lot more money that she thought. Because of this new discovery she had felt like she could slack off a little more than she was. Although money would usually on her mind, selena was very preoccupied. If anyone looked at her she could be seen talking to herself, biting her nails. Although by her rough nature and grumbling none seemed too keen to go and ask about her day. That being said it was not because of her day that she was worried and anxious more due to the night, more specifically when she dreamed. Sena was having many dreams about dragons and couldn't help but feel connected to it. She had known her magic had felt off since she woke up in Era however could not put her finger on it. Was those dragons the reason? Before she could think of anything else regarding the matter she felt a hard shoulder hit her own bringing her back to the real world. “Hey watch where you're going!” she snapped at the pedestrian who bumped into her. Although she wanted to take her eyes off of him she couldn't.

Sadly despite the scenery faltering in it's beauty, Videns was still staring at it in a world of his own looking off into the distance. It wasn't until he felt a hard thud against his shoulder which almost cause him to fall over that he came back to earthland. The girl he had bumped into.had shouted at him for his clumsiness. Usually Videns would have just apologised and walked on however much like the girl in front of him he was still looking at the girl. “Sorry about that.” He said with a small bow. “Was off in a world of my own.” He said shrugging. Looking at the girl he noticed her bewilderment. “Much like you it seems.” he added without meaning to. Videns awaited the girl’s reaction which given how she reacted when he had bumped int9 her, he could only imagine it would be similar to.an explosion. However the girl stood there for a moment as if thinking as to how to act. Videns found this Very odd but soon he had seen some tears well up in her eyes. “Is everything okay?” He asked unsure how bad this girl was off.

Selena continued to stare at the man even as he apologised. The face had shaken her but she did not know.why. It was so familiar but she had known she had never met her before. A voice was screaming in the back of her mind but it was inaudible. She listened desperately for the answer she knew it was shouting but the frustration of the situation cause hot tearz to well up in her sapphire like eyes. She quickly brushed them aside when the man had asked was she okay. Clearing her throat she ignored her sudden outburst of vulnerability. “Yeah actually.” she admitted. “I'm really poor and need money.” she said rubbing her nose. Although poor wasn't the right word she wasn't really rolling in money. Selena knew she did not look her best so she hoped the man would be gullible enough to give her some money and leave. He seemed like a sap that he would. Still Selena kept wiping her extremities to make it seem like she really was some homeless person in need of a hand. “S-Sorry for snapping earlier it's just been really hard.” she then added as the man was contemplating the decision. She couldn't explain it but she both wanted to get to know the man but also leave as fast as she could.

Videns was taken aback at the sudden confession of the girl. Not only had she not exploded Like Videns had guessed she would but she also admitted that she was not okay. She further explained that she was in fact poor which lead Videns to Believe that it was because of that fact she was looking so dreadful. The girl did not seem to acknowledge her tears but began to wipe her eyes, nose and mouth, all of which were looking almost blue. Was she really this bad off? As Videns thought of what to do the girl then said that she was sorry for snapping earlier which only strengthened Videns’ belief that she was in dire need of help. “Okay.” Videns knew the amount of surprise the girl would have on her face. “My name is Videns and when you have the money back i want to be repaired. If not you'll regret it.” He said, although his threat was very hollow. “Now tell me your name and you'll get this.” He then took out a cheque book and wrote down the amount he was going to gove her, all he needed was a name then he would give her the slip of paper then leave. [exit]

As Videns agreed to pay Selena she looked up as if she had heard him qrong. A strange feeling of nostalgia glooded Selena as if she had fone something like this before but she knew in her heart that she had never ever begged money of any stranger in her life, but prehaps she begged someone else, someone closer? Was that why she felt so odd around this man? Did it remind her subconscious of a person she knew in jer past? The past she was finding it hard to remember. Selena shook her head quickly as Videns reached for something
Before she knew it he was asking for her name. "Oh Selena, Selena Malestrom." she said. Selena eould watch Videns scribble down her name as her heart began to thump. She wanted to ask him more, not for more money kust questions. But no, if he knew anything he would have said so. Instead Selena nodded and took the slip og paper thanking him for it. "Thanks" she muttered under he breath. As she walked away the wind picked up and another wave of nostalgia filles her body. She couldnt put her finger on it but she knew that man reminded her of someone close. As of who Selena thought it best not to ask herslef. [exit]
