QUEST

Quest: Scold That Brat

Rank: D

Type: Bad

Requirements: None

Client:
Disgruntled Shopkeeper: One of the many shopkeepers in Oak town. He is a bitter, middle aged man who is incredibly irritated by the antics of Jerr, and wants him stopped, even if it means resorting to dark mages.

Summary: A shopkeeper is fed up with the antics of Jerr, an orphan boy who is continually stealing from local shops. Though efforts have been made to peacefully deal with the boy, he never seems to learn his lesson. Thus, this shopkeeper is turning to dark mages for help, hoping that their more aggressive demeanor might frighten the boy into stopping.

Enemies:
Jerr: Jerr is an orphan that spends most of his time running through the streets of Oak Town. He is known as a pickpocket and a little thief, but he feels the needs to continue this line of work to provide for his band of orphan friends.

Objective: Corner Jerr, and attempt to intimidate him enough to stop stealing.

Extra Rewards:

  • +1 Speed

Details:

  • Create a topic in Oak Streets, outside the shop of the man who hired you.
  • He points out Jerr as he walks by, and you go to approach him. He notices you however, and sprints off, forcing you to chase after him.
  • While he does not fight you, he will attempt to evade you, running away with an impressive amount of speed for someone his age. You will have to resort to either magic or strategy to corner him.
  • When you corner him, intimidate him through any means, though you are not allowed to severely wound him, you may rough him up a bit.
  • Report back to the shop owner, bringing Jerr with you so that he may apologize to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper will be satisfied, and will give you your reward.
